April's facial expressions plus Jackson's 'fine let's do it' personality are comedy gold. They really are meant for each other and were not given justice
I love the fact they got one of the best endgames on Greys, For a show that dont give out happy endgames. Lexie/Mark- Afterlife endgame Derek/Mer- Afterlife Endgame Alex/Izzy- That just made no sense Callie/Arizona- They were implied like Japril's but they are more in the talking stage While for Jackson an April they got implied but its been hinted at twice now that Jackson has wanted April back since she got married to Mathew. An April always wanted Jackson but settled for someone else. They both settled because of Jackson's stubborness. While they both wanted each other.
how dare you. Alex and Izzie have a lot of sense. even after Izzie left, Alex referred to her as his true love. they could have handled better with the way Alex left without ruining his development, still ending when Alex ended up with Izzie is simply brilliant
Nahh, probably Alex's actor contact about to end, that's how they dispose a character, look at Edwards character disposal, they need to make a criminal start a fire just to eliminate the character Edwards from the series. In this case it's Alex suddenly I have always been in love with Izzie. so weird. Izzie is not even in the scene, just some random children playing around and Alex voice as background.
@@a.8882 Thank you. Not everyone is a Alex and Jo fan. I may not have felt they did Alex's exit the real justice it deserves but that mainly because they couldn't get JC to played it out on screen. However I was happy that they got to make Izzie his endgame which I always believed she should have been. The way Alex talk to Meredith about her years later and also his reactions to a lookalike of Izzie that appeared in the hospital. It didn't come out of no where for me in his on going feelings for Izzie especially when you watch their love story and the plans for their characters being together IF Katherine hadn't left.
Honestly, that hospital room scene where April was freaking out because she had to leave her baby I was dying laughing and I said “Thank God, I needed to laugh” because that episode was so moody and angsty so that scene was just a breath of fresh air.
the scene where alex brought home a girl and jackson started checking her out and then got slapped in the back of the head by april was my favorite scene ever😭😭💀💀
One of my favorite scenes from them is when they're in the kitchen in Mer's home, and Jackson is looking at a girl Alex slept with bootie, and April slaps him in the head hahaha XD
April: Condoms break Jackson: they don’t break *April thinking about the audacity of this bitch* Jackson: sometimes they break Why is this scene so funny. He is a doctor
The amazing thing about JApril is, they were only a couple for a short time. They got married in season 10, episode 14, and even though they didn't get divorced until season 12, the writers ended their relationship at the end of season 11. From the writers' perspective, Sarah Drew getting pregnant in real life gave them the ammunition they needed to break up JApril. Why? One of the show's directors said, whenever the writers saw Jessie and Sarah coming to their office, they thought, oh, here they come again. Suggesting more rewrites. My theory is, the writers thought these two actors were way too invested in their roles and wanted too much creative control over how their characters were written. Both Sarah Drew and Jessie Williams grieved when they found out their characters were getting a divorce, but the writers probably felt relieved. Sarah Drew was so committed to the idea that April was in love with Jackson that when she was written out of the show, she asked the writers to scrap the idea that April would end up with Mathew. Even though Jackson told Maggie that he loved her in season 15, Jessie wasn't convincing when he delivered that line, because both actors believed that April and Jackson were soulmates. So when Jessie Williams quit Grey's Anatomy, it wasn't a coincidence that Sarah Drew came back to reprise her role as April, because she and Jessie Williams both wanted JApril to be end game. I also heard that JApril, the movie, was originally an idea that Sarah Drew and Jessie Williams pitched as a spin-off in season 10, because they wanted to know what happened during that 13-hour drive to Connecticut when they went to elope. I'm not an insider, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is why one of the most popular TV couples in recent memory was forced to get a divorce after only one season of marriage.
It wasn’t only the rewrites and the actors commitment to their character’s development, but it was also jealousy involved. Since MerDer couple was soon ending they did not want Japril to become the “it couple” of the series.
they’re perfect for each other. april humbled the rich spoiled only child in him and he takes her tendencies and sort of helped calmed her down. thank god they’re together. they’re also both amazing parents! maybe it’s bc they were best friends first, that coparentinf and separating made it so easy. nevertheless. they’re each other’s true love
They should do a spin off of them as a Power couple and how Avery takes over the company and maybe them have another kid maybe this they can be the Meredith And Derek as far as forever in love .
I think one of April and Jackson’s last appearances, they leave the hospital and kiss in the elevator. I think that was Shonda making the fans happy and making them end game
