Her person. Lexie was just the love of his life. They didn’t have that soul connection because they were kind of different but they worked. Your soulmate is basically you in another person’s body. I mean look at Mertina. Cristina always understood Mer even when Derek couldn’t and Callie got Mark in the way Lexie was never able to. That’s just my opinion. We all know your person means your soulmate. Soulmates don’t always have to be romantic.

I think that mark was a turning point for jackson. Before mark, jackson was one of my least favorite characters. He was childish and foolish. When mark died, jackson was forced to grow up. To become someone better, and he did.

I recently rewatched Grey's Anatomy and earlier in the episode where April (almost) got married, Jackson actually talks to Stephanie about what Mark taught him regarding love and telling people you love them even if you're scared or if you think it will cause problems :)

mark and Lexie death was the hardest death of the whole series. it broke my heart and i was sobbing very uncontrollably watching it. the heart breaking part was that when Lexie was dying mark could not do any thing and just watch. the misery of helplessness it breaks the heart most. and same happened to mark.
God, I wish Mark & Jackson had more time together. At least just one more season because this relationship was awesome for both Marks character and Jacksons

I just started hating the show right after he and Lexie were killed off on the show! I felt it's totally unjustified for the characters they should have been an endgame... 😭
They died because lexies actress wanted to establish she was NEVER coming back to the show and mark was nothing without lexie so they decided their characters would die together and they did (both still ended up coming back for an episode but yk)
I still think they could’ve just had Lexie do her fellowship in NY and Mark go with her. Kinda like Callie did. It worked for Sophia then so it would’ve worked for Slexie. Their deaths still make me angry. The show was irreparably changed when they left.
@@mckennatroup8524 I don't think Mark would've wanted to move away from Sofia though (and Callie and Arizona didn't move there till seasons later), kinda like how Jackson didn't want Harriet to split time between two states. I think Shonda originally wanted him to move to Private Practice, but I don't think that would've worked either.
