Awesome BO. This confirms what I head in the back of my mind. Collect all resources first to minimize walking time, which with 9 villagers is a quite significant drop of your resource gather rate. Gonna try this in team games where maps are larger and the rush timings are typically later.

As an Abbasid player I looked up high level games in AOE world and I cant tell you how much I have learned from watching you play military wing this patch. Again thank you and well wishes.
efficent isnt quit the word i would use :D the mill is pointless to many guys on gold to many on food after age up tried it twice with my ideas think ill can get it under 6 min with second tc around 5:40 thired under 6 on every map, but to be fair he put more work into this build than ill did just the fine tuning seemed off to me
I also do tgis and its quite good. When placed good the TC also give some cover from raiding as well. Juat priority on speara for only knoghts can dive that eaely.

This is very good guide! :) I got inspired and tried variant with golden age first. Managed to do golden age in ~3:30, having 15% ghater rate for 17-22 vils. It costs me 50 more wood and 50 more food. I have managed to be ~5 seconds faster, but it depends on map layout.
I just tried the build and it's really fun. If you don't get attacked early you know it's game over for your opponent. And it's also really fun to push my gold level macro to the limits with 3TC. 😂
so a friend showed me this build and a few things ill found it improves it you can skip the mill its pointless just usless walking time, 3 on gold is enough works perfectly also after age up only 3 on sheep is also enough if you wait for a few (3-5) extra sec for the food, you can get with this fertile cresent researched before you need the second house you also if it is close than get your mill and the "4 houses" he said in the video seems also really off to me ill think 2 of these buildings should be atleast lumber camps for higher wood efficeny, have still small mistakes in the build (2 attempts) but im 99% sure you can get this exact set up in under 6 min on every map
The most ressource efficient way to build is with only one villager. Wouldn't it be more effective to pull one villager to start the first towncenter as soon as you got the ressources to get a head start? And then when you got the resources for the second one you can put the rest.
Pulling one villager away early would increase time to reach the resources required to build a 3rd TC. I think this essentially negates the head start you would get on your 2nd TC, so not really worth it considering the added micro
Another thing to consider is that it gives you flexibility to react. You are most vulnerable while building the TC because you've already invested the resources without any returns. Waiting and fully committing allows you to adapt and invest the resources in military production and units in case you get rushed and need to defend first.
@@TomBrosch you are absolutely right. This is something I would only attempt if I know that I don't get rushed. It is only that when you send one villager to build early you sacrifice 4seconds on the 3rd tc timing for ~26% of the buildtime of the 2nd tc (if you plan to build your 2nd tc with 10vills you trade ~4seconds on your third for ~10seconds on your second.) It is minimal but slightly more optimal
Play reactionary, meaning, respond to the composition of your opponent. If they are going feudal, then, in then case of the common knight+archer composition, you can counter with spearmen+horsemen. The goal of the build is to stay alive long enough to build an economy that eventually can support an overwhelming force. :)
Abbasid winrate will hit the floor once people not used to this macro heavy, and greedy builds are going to spam it on ladder and get destroyed by any aggression. Gonna be one of them, because it looks awesome.
