Thank you so much Dr Tara Tobias for these superb exercises for strong glutes for post stroke patients

I haven't had a stroke but I suffered a C6/C7 injury 50 years ago in a car accident.(Brown Sequard syndrome) I recovered from a totally paralised right leg but the whole "kinetic chain" on the right stayed weak. Didn't do much to correct this imbalance as I was fully functional (trekking, playing tennis etc...) and pain free... and also "fully ....negligent"!!!
I ended up with scoliosis and a left tibia 17 degree off alignment (with repercussion on all other joints) and less and less envy to exercice and go for walk etc..... So I had a partial knee replacement(8 months ago) but I'm struggling with the reeducation . The physio I worked with have been able to pinpoint the weak muscles but there's seem to be a neurological factor that they, maybe(?), didn't take into account. ( like connections from brain to muscles that have difficulty to solidify on the right side). That's why your site has been sooo useful . Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful job/service you're doing on your site.♥♥

Wow 😮 I love this video. It really challenges me. I had to have my husband with me so that I felt safe and secure. I know this will benefit me and my walking. Thank you so much and I

Dr. Tara, what can we do to reduce the claw toes? At the moment, I only have a very strong feeling of tightness in the sole, the toes do not bend yet, but I feel that this is where I am heading. (I have a year since the stroke). what stretching exercises could I do? Thank you very much for the hard work done. I follow your videos with great interest.

How do I move the stroke leg onto the step

  • @privatenexus5764

when I do RDL, my physio makes me do it while holding a small weight between my outstretched arms. Picking it up from a platform. I dont feel it n my glutes or my hamstrings, it feels like my core muscles, mainly on the front that fatigue the most.
Ahhh.. you use weights later in the vid. But just a little differently.

Madam, do we need to brace our core while doing? i have back issues.

This looks simple and good for me, a sack variant is difficult on my affected leg, but I need it with skill and strength to save from the fall. Thanks for PDF, a nice week.

I am slowly getting to know your work and I am amazed with it. Unfortunatelly this is so much above my abilities. However I learned about posteror chain. Your link is th-cam.com/video/WJ6z4-099-s/w-d-xo.html
I will have to go to the basics. Now it looks like that is what is lacking in my balance and probably causing me not to be able to stand on my leg. Thank you!
