We lived in Uganda for 4 years, and depending on your plans, I would highly recommend a journey from top to bottom (Kidepo National Park on the border with South Sudan down to the Chimps and Gorilla by Congo/Rwanda) with a bit of hiking in the Rwenzori thrown in for good measure. Well worth the trip and the incredible people.
LOVED THIS ONE! Makes me miss you guys and the big tuskers! Its so cool to watch it all back 🙏🏻 we did some preeeetty cool stuff! Sneaky little ‘very bad road’ secret 😂🙏🏻
Amazing. That’s what life’s all about. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us 🎉 makes cooking the Sunday dinner because I want to and not because my wife makes me much more enjoyable 🤣
Now that’s the way to start over landing with new bees . ( Get stuck the true over landing not just the easy part )see awesome wild life sightings , the boys look to be truly loving it so far , and looks like you all are having the time of your life 😁 so far . Looking forward to seeing more to come . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :). :) :) 🌍🦒🐘🦓🐆🍻😁👍🏼.
Thank you so much! This video really does include it all. The guys are loving it and we are loving seeing it all through their eyes as well! Lots more to come ☺️🙌
That was epic, where did 33 mins go? Your video footage is just stunning. Loved every second, can't wait for next week! As for getting stuck - eeek!!! You were skilled in getting out of that!
A wonderful video! You got that Landi unstuck like pros! With the explosion of tourisme, game driving has degenerated into a relentless bullying of animals despite attempts to regulate it. The worse I have seen was in the Ngorongoro crater. It is a radical change compared with the emptiness in Namibia 😉! There are less visited parks in Tanzania like Mikumi (you drove through it on your crazy dash for Dar), Ruaha, Mkomazi or Tarangire, all very beautiful. I was shocked seeing Mount Kilimandjaro with far less snow on top than 10 years ago, the last time I saw it in Moshi. Sad to see it so impacted by climate change. Safari n'jema! Wishing you safe travel onwards!
Thank you so much, that really means a lot to us. It’s really upsetting when you see people disturbing the animals and chasing after them. We always try to be respectful to wildlife and quietly observe at a good distance, we wish game drivers would be more mindful. Just to say, not all game drivers are like this but a lot are. That’s interesting to read, we thought there was still quite a lot of snow there! We hope one day we will have the opportunity to hike Kili 🤞 Thank you for your kind words ☺️🙌
Nice trip I enjoyed once moo, please let me know between Land Rover and Land cruiser which is more resilient and affordable in terms of maintainance on African roads?.
Thanks so much! Well the Land Rover is mine and Harry’s vehicle and the Toyota is just a rental so we can’t really tell you anything about owning a Toyota! It will always be Land Rover for us ☺️🙌
Are you guys running petrol or diesel? Im busy looking at an overlanding Vehicle but cant decide on which fuel is best in the long term? Im leaning towards petrol.. If you are using Petrol, what is the your landy's fuel consumption like on these trips? Keep it up guys! Love your channel.
Great content ,thou some of your comments while driving through remote towns of TZ & expecting to get cheese, butter and stuff comes across as ignorant, its all about clientele. Folks round those areas don't care for that stuff so shops won't stock products that take long to sell!
Thanks for your comment. We are fully aware of that. The majority of the time as I said, Harry and I get our food supplies from locals off the street, but if we see that there are dairy products available in a shop we will buy them. Most supermarkets have had a very wide range of supplies and Tanzania compared to other countries we have visited has not had so much by way of produce. I’m sorry if you interpreted this as ignorance because that is absolutely not the case at all. We are just sharing our experience. Have a great day. Thanks 😊
@@TheLandyExpedition Yeahhhh was actually referring to the particular video but after watching the whole series I get it now What an adventurous time you guys had....😎😎😎

Where did you get the map for the tracks inside amboseli?
I would like to know what radios are used and what frequencies?
VHF radios
