- Amboseli National park is famous for shots of large "tuskers" walking past the snow capped mountains of Mount Kilimanjaro but Janine wanted to know what else this iconic Kenyan National Park has to offer.

Have you ever been to Amboseli? Will you be adding it to your wish list now if not?
Your photography is outstanding, Janine! Those elephant shots were awesome... but I still thing the moonlit flamingos were magical!
Pretty special weren't they?
@@PangolinWildlife Absolutely! Looking forward to our next Chobe visit, next year.
Wonderful place to visit
Always captivating and informative
I appreciate that!
I spent about 3 days there and 3 days at Tsavo National Park in if I remember 1975. A once in a lifetime experience for me. Just amazing !
Wow. Must have been epic!
Klasse Video, klasse Fotos - SUPER !!!!
Amazing place ❣ I wish i could visit one day ...
Maybe one day!
Fantastic video and some wonderful photos , nice to see those big tuskers I hope they can keep them safe from poachers, what an amazing place, 😍😍😍
I hope so too
We traveled there last year and truly loved every bit of it ❤ your work is amazing!
Thanks a lot 😊
Janine, get another superbly well done video with absolutely breathtaking images! I look forward to a time when I can join Pangolin in Amboseli! The Moon over the flamingos was very special!
Wonderful! We look forward to taking you there! Here is something to whet your appetite! www.pangolinphoto.com/safaris/kenya-photo-safari
@@PangolinWildlife Your itinerary is pretty similar to the trip we did in Feb 2020 but we added Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Uganda for the Gorillas at the end. At the time Amboseli was a flooded mess and Samburu had the locust swarms :)
Hi,
I watch your videos as O am trying to learn photography. It was amazing to see this one.
I was fifteen when we visited Amboseli in 1965.
I have not seen anything relative to it since then.
Just loved having my memories restored. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing!
Vey nice - tnx for sharing
Our pleasure!
Very nice Janine, such an incredible location to be and spend a few days :-) Can't wait to visit myself .... cheers Marco
It really is!
Another fantastic video. I loved the flamingo in the moon light. Congratulations on the big award at the World Travel Awards.
Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful pics and an awe inspiring place. Thank you for posting.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video and beautiful still shots Janine! ThankYou.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Janine - I missed you during my stay this past February at the Pangolin hotel. I had the privilege of meeting Tim in November, 2019, only a few months before he died. Amboseli is such a unique place and, along with Mana Pools and Kidepo Valley NP, one of my favorites. I look forward to getting back out into the wilds of Africa soon. All the best to you and the Pangolin team.
We hope to see you on safari soon!
We were there in early Feb 2020. As I recall it was very big news at the time when he passed away.
Amazing photos!
Glad you like them!
Such a beautiful adventure to wake up to this morning Janine, Thankyou!
Thank you.
Excellent images, video and information.
Glad you think so!
Thank you Janine, again an interesting post with fantastic pictures and lots of additional information. Maybe in the near future I will manage to experience a stay with Pangolin in Africa. Thank you again. I look forward to your next posts. Best regards Peter E.
There is another video coming out on Sunday about Samburu...make sure you are subscribed!
Beautiful video; the flamingos under the moon, the herds of elephants by Kilimanjaro and big tuskers were unique; I have never seen something this beautiful; see you in March in Chobe
Glad you enjoyed it. See you soon!
Jaw dropping
Thank you.
Enjoyed the enthusiasm from all 3 of you! Is it possible to stop by the farm for quick visit?

Bonjour Janine, Magnifiques images et vidéo très intéressante! Bravo
Merci beaucoup.
Spectacular shots Janine. Did you use multiple lenses or a single lens and what would you recommend?
We spend two days in Amboseli in 2021 and enjoyed it tremendously. Thanks for this beautiful video, Janine 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’ll be there in a few weeks, v timely video. Good change to practice my Pangolin skills 📷 😊
Glad we could help!
That looks so very awesome! You do indeed have the worlds greatest job! Where do I apply?
You are not wrong!
@@PangolinWildlife So I guess that the application process is closed?
Would love to see a video on tips on low angle from safari vehicles. I went to Amboseli and Masai Mara last year, and that remained my biggest struggle due to sliding windows with limited moving space
It is challenging in National Parks and the style of vehicles preferred in East Africa. Nice video idea!
I was at Amboseli literally Yesterday and today, the Video sadly is 2 days late😂
Apologies...will get it right next time!!! ;-)
For the record, Kilimanjaro has 3 volcanic peaks. 2 that are extinct, one still dormant being the tallest part of the mountain
Thank you for the insight. Appreciated.
Had a wonderful trip a few years ago but the cloud cover over the mountain was a disappointment! Wonderful big tusker though.
Next time!
What focal length lens will you recommend for wildlife photography at Amboseli? Is 70-200mm good?
How can one get outside the car to get ground level clicks as seen in many youtube videos?
Heartbreaking to see the drought 😢
Nature can be cruel but the drought has eased recently.
@@PangolinWildlife Mostly its not nature by itself, its because of our (humans) impact on nature. Anyway good to know that there is some relief.
I was I could afford to on a photo shoot holiday like Ambosell
helo Janine, just one question if I may - 8:50 is it possible in this tour, or any other safari tours, that in such great situation you can get lower perspective, near to the ground? I read many times that it's forbidden to get out the car in safari, and you're stick to upper position.
In National reserves you cant get out of the car...in some private concessions you can depending on the situation and in other places like Mana Pools in Zim where walking safaris are common...video from there coming soon!
Hello looking forward for your help My son interested to work in this place.kindly so desperate university student any work Bear with me.
