Enjoyed the deep dive! I would have also loved to see colored polish on top of this product to determine how well it camouflages the ridges. I see it has Nitrocellulose in it which I'm trying to avoid since you educated us that it yellows the nails. My nails yellow very easily so I've been using the Dazzle Dry products. Thanks so much for doing this series!

Yes, this type of content is useful. I especially like seeing how the product applies & how long it wears on the nails. I have a hard time applying any type of tinted or heavily pigmented nail polish without streaks. Nail polish tends to to peel of easily too. So I have given up for now because I am tired of wasting money. Your reviews will help me find something new to try. TY

Great video, thank you for all the really good information. I took on your 30 day nail challenge and I’m so happy with the results. Should’ve sent in some before pictures but didn’t have the time. I used to be a nail biter but since following along with your advice on the proximal nail fold and oil treatments my nails look amazing! Thanks again!

Yup! I can go to bed 20 minutes after I apply my last coat ONLY IF I’ve already let each & every layer dry before adding another on top. But it took YEARS of learning my lesson the hard way… Lots of bed sheet “designs” on my nails in my lifetime 🤣

My sad comment is that it's not available in the US. You have raved about Catrice products in the past, so I'm not surprised that this is a winner. I like seeing the wear/how a product holds up. I'm not currently wearing any nail polish - still trying to work on improving my nails. As far as the ingredients go - not a chemist either. I'm hoping that at some point I'll be able to use polish. In the meanwhile - your "diving" and knowledge have helped my nails so much already, so KEEP IT UP!!! 😘❤💕

i’m already in love with this series ! gotta appreciate the dedication you put in all of your videos and this one is no exception ! thanks for educating your audience about everything nail related . btw i have the other catrice base coat you showed at the beginning ( the one with the green label ) and besides the smell of it which i hate (it kinda reminds me of something rotten .. i know ... not cool .. ! ) it has been performing very good on my nails ! i picked it because i was looking for nail polishes without nitrocellulose in them and if i’m not wrong that catrice base coat doesn’t have it .
please keep up this series ! i love your professional yet friendly approach to all of this :))

I love Catrice products ~ thank you for doing these videos! I have one request~ if it's possible could you talk about Cutex products? especifically these: Cutex Hydrating Cuticle Oil, Cutex Intense Recovery, Cutex BB Nail Concealer, Cutex Cuticle Eraser and the Cutex Brittle Nail Fix!
I have tried the oil, cuticle eraser and the brittle nail fix ~ Loved the oil, but the other two just thought it was okey!

Hello Anna! Thanks so much for this video and the idea to make a series on specific products you might find good enough to talk about. I’ve got this Catrice ridge filler and have always used it as a base coat… and now I learned that it is beautiful also on its own with a second, thicker coat! 🥰👍👍Love the milky effect and tidy look it gives. One question only: there are many nail treatment polishes, can they be layered as base coats or are they most effective on their own like a “naked” manicure as you showed us in this video? I need to hydrate my nails (use an Essie hydrating base coat) plus a ridge filler is a must for me when opting for a dark-polished manicure. I was wondering if such products can be used together and in which order. Forgive my long comment but an advise would be most welcome. Wish you and Male Hands 😊a very lovely day. 👋👋👋👋👋

I am guessing that the citrus Junos seed oil is the oil that is mentioned on the top of the lid. Aka Yuzi seed oil. And as an esthetician I understand exactly what you are wondering about with the glycolic acid and then the PHA my thought to that is that it may be there to hypothetically reducing The ridges because glycolic acid is the strongest aha, and you are correct phas are much more gentle so they would work in conjunction with each other and some maybe the philosophy also is to allow hopefully the citrus oil that is mentioned on the cap to be able to penetrate better and maybe reduce the frequency of The ridges by giving the nail plate more moisture. That's my hypothesis but as you mentioned the ingredients that are talked about are so far down on the list with the plasticizers and other film forming ingredients how well they are able to work those two key ingredients that they're mentioning on the cap who knows. My only other thought with the glycolic acid is that it would in theory for marketing purposes help maybe reduce excessive cuticle buildup if somebody is not doing that already.

    Useful video. Thank you 🙏
Any suggestions maybe in a next video about good drugstore base coat and top coat polishes?
For a basecoat I used Essence extreme last but apparently it has been discontinued since they replaced the entire nail polish collection.
I tried the base coat from the new line but it’s not as good🫤.
It would be very useful a video with best base coat & top coat polishes coming from a professional 🤩

So, as an esthetician I'm thinking 'why on earth would glycolic acid be in a 'strengthening' nail polish'? I can't find any reason it wouldn't actually thin the nails out over time, as GA just dissolves the bonds between keratinized cells so they slough off faster. Thank you for addressing that and how it's likely a marketing gimmick. I hope they're not advertising that as a way to address ridges, because yikes. It does look nice, definitely. But I'm not going to give up my actual strengthening products (that I found through you) so I can use this, that's for sure. My nails love the Mavala strengthener (never have my nails been so long & strong in my LIFE!) but i'm hoping to find something milky that's still *truly* strengthening that i can use between. I have the Probelle but it flakes off within a day for me. Thank you again for sharing so much in depth info!

@@TheSalonLife My Father passed this past June. He played Acoustic guitar since he was young. He was born West Virginia and then they moved to California when he was 16, so very much country and religious music. He had about 14 nice Martin guitars at one point but 7 or so when he died. He had them divided up between me and my two sisters in his will, but didn’t keep his will updated. He sold some and bought a couple more. There were several unassigned ones, but I got two, one sister got none and the other also got two-got a Golden Era one made in 2000 and an all black one that I can’t remember the name of. He gave me his original one from 1952, a D18, and a JN1 Special from 2006. I played piano, classical mostly, since I was 7 up through almost 40. While we weren’t close at all, we had music in common. I was glad to get his original one but will probably sell the other. Maybe I should learn to play the guitar. Lol. I don’t know if I would survive the finger soreness until I got callouses.
