The lies Curse Word tells tells herself, on how the murder she’s committing atones for her sins. This is beautifully narrated and written. Amazing job!

I'm a 14 y/o guy who barely ever cries during movies or books etc, but when Curseword had forgotten her and Beloved's anniversary, I was on the edge, and then when her Beloved had been erase... This was a nice way to start Halloween off a bit early. Also your dark version of your OC reminds me of Scarecrow from Batman, especially when you said that her mask fused to her face. :3
(Dont read this if you haven't watched at least half of this story) Now I have a not creepy alternative ending . Here goes... So curseword is telling a story of her beloved no one is listening anymore,but another pony walks by and say she feels connected to the stories of cursewords beloved . Cursewords tells the pony one of those stories not knowing what she meant (since her memories are fading away ) curseword goes to sleep that night and remembers her beloved then it hits her that was her beloved! Curseword was enraged by how she couldn't recognize her beloved ! The next day her beloved came back wanting to talk about why she feels connected to cursewords stories , but curseword knows why but refuses to tell the truth due to fear of the other pony laughing at her knowing if the other pony laughed she would possibly snap and kill her so curseword didn't tell her but was thankfull that her beloved ... If anyone pays attention in the beginning lost says that curse word would say a phrase "nothing can compare to the loss of a beloved" and at the end of her story she says that phrase. I already had an OC from another MUCH darker fandom, where i am more active then in the MLP fandom. I wrote a FanFic where my OC, who only knows war, death and destruction from his universe, was send to Equestria and given a pony body by Cegorach "the laughing God". This added up pretty good, since Cegorach is known for ruining and twisting peoples lives. Just like TheLostNarrator, only that he does it for his own amusement instead of punishing someone. I focused on the moral conflict of someone landing in a (debatebly) peacefull world, who is used to kill everything diffrent on sight (especialy if it´s magical) just in case it could attack him or humanity. Maybe try something in this direction.

Been a while since I listened to this. I figured this was the perfect time because well, this series has mentions of abuse, something I feel like I’ve been experiencing most of my life. “All those pretty little hammers of control” that abusers love so much. I never thought I would be SA’ed but what can you do, life is a mess and all you really can do is try to move on without letting it happen again. And, I think you and Mag have found the ability to move on with each other :)

Anyone else come here because of the shared name between the title and the uploader? Now, as for the story itself, I have an alternative interpretation of what activates Curse Word's unique ability. Whenever her eyes glow red and she says words that become a future occurrence, it is during an intense emotional state. This had only happened with anger, but maybe it could happen with other emotions, too, meaning her powers might have other uses than just killing off bad ponies and such. The primary threat to this theory is the fact that Curse Word's beloved never came back despite the constant retellings of the story; after all, Curse Word's intense love for this pony would have been sufficient in light of my theory. However, her retellings were likely past-tense in nature, while her eyes only glowed with a present-tense or future-tense utterance. Perhaps if Curse Word added an extra part to her story's ending, that part might come true with the right wording, and her beloved would finally return. Another possible key to her ability would be directness. Each time her eyes glowed, her directly addressed who she spoke to; meanwhile, her retellings of her beloved, having been in third-person, do not provide the strong connection needed to activate her powers. Imagine if instead of telling that one group of ponies that it'll "be the only story [they] will ever hear," she confessed to them that it was not only real, but her own account. Would have her eyes still glowed, albeit with a different outcome? Furthermore, would her beloved be more likely to return if Curse Word didn't mask herself in shame, instead embracing the truthfulness of her past? But if this is the case, how would ending every story from then on with a phrase as vague as, "...but nothing can compare to the loss of a beloved," actually work? This brings me to the final potential factor: that she can only (directly) affect those who she speaks to. While the state of her body had shifted after she started telling darker tales later on, this was a gradual process and likely another facet of her unique magic - to match her own state with the nature of her stories. Telling other ponies about the loss of her beloved does nothing because the audience isn't a real part of the story, so maybe she needs to talk to *herself* about it to make any sort of progress. With that said, however, the results may not be what she expects; after all, her eyes glowing red have always foreshadowed a grimly extreme take on what she said at the time. A foal's mouth "being washed clean off" took the form of him being drowned in a bathtub; Curse Word's beloved "leaving her alone" was interpreted as them being literally erased from her life (and everypony else's); her story being "the only one [the group of ponies] will ever hear" meant them dying so that they don't hear another story from anyone. Who knows what might really happen if she successfully uses the magic on herself, except for, perhaps, the Lost Narrator herself.

I liked how the image transitioned from Curse Words looking cute and cuddly to just downright creepy.

I already had an OC from another MUCH darker fandom, where i am more active then in the MLP fandom. I wrote a FanFic where my OC, who only knows war, death and destruction from his universe, was send to Equestria and given a pony body by Cegorach "the laughing God". This added up pretty good, since Cegorach is known for ruining and twisting peoples lives. Just like TheLostNarrator, only that he does it for his own amusement instead of punishing someone.
I focused on the moral conflict of someone landing in a (debatebly) peacefull world, who is used to kill everything diffrent on sight (especialy if it´s magical) just in case it could attack him or humanity.
Maybe try something in this direction.

that plot twist at the end thought!!! At the beginning it said that her tails always ended with "It's nothing compared with the lost of a beloved" and I was like: "Shoot..." I love the writer now.

Been a while since I listened to this. I figured this was the perfect time because well, this series has mentions of abuse, something I feel like I’ve been experiencing most of my life. “All those pretty little hammers of control” that abusers love so much. I never thought I would be SA’ed but what can you do, life is a mess and all you really can do is try to move on without letting it happen again. And, I think you and Mag have found the ability to move on with each other :)

For the background music in the beginning of the video, I recognize it as the music that plays, at the end of the video "A Tale of One Shadow", by NastasiaSolitude. It's when the end credits are playing and a few final pictures are shown as the epilogue.

At first I knew of Lost and what she does but I wasnt a fan of listening to story's, but one day I had nothing to watch so, I thought why not listen to one of Lost's storys for the first time, and I loved it so much that everytime I play some kind of a game I always listen to Lost's story's.

The picture in this video is much creepier than story. The story makes only feel sad about victims and Curse Word.

The lost narrator. A monstrous pony who lost everything through her cursed power of storytelling. She lost her beloved, her original life, and her mortal soul to the power of the lost narrator. Curse word was dead. She was lost to her stories.

okay, all joking aside i enjoyed this story very much so, very well crafted, it's a real breath of fresh air seeing stories like this! a fan fic that revolves around an OC who's life isn't insanely perfect. i also loved how it's told like an urban legend, very nice :)

Now, as for the story itself, I have an alternative interpretation of what activates Curse Word's unique ability. Whenever her eyes glow red and she says words that become a future occurrence, it is during an intense emotional state. This had only happened with anger, but maybe it could happen with other emotions, too, meaning her powers might have other uses than just killing off bad ponies and such.
The primary threat to this theory is the fact that Curse Word's beloved never came back despite the constant retellings of the story; after all, Curse Word's intense love for this pony would have been sufficient in light of my theory. However, her retellings were likely past-tense in nature, while her eyes only glowed with a present-tense or future-tense utterance. Perhaps if Curse Word added an extra part to her story's ending, that part might come true with the right wording, and her beloved would finally return.
Another possible key to her ability would be directness. Each time her eyes glowed, her directly addressed who she spoke to; meanwhile, her retellings of her beloved, having been in third-person, do not provide the strong connection needed to activate her powers. Imagine if instead of telling that one group of ponies that it'll "be the only story [they] will ever hear," she confessed to them that it was not only real, but her own account. Would have her eyes still glowed, albeit with a different outcome? Furthermore, would her beloved be more likely to return if Curse Word didn't mask herself in shame, instead embracing the truthfulness of her past?
But if this is the case, how would ending every story from then on with a phrase as vague as, "...but nothing can compare to the loss of a beloved," actually work? This brings me to the final potential factor: that she can only (directly) affect those who she speaks to. While the state of her body had shifted after she started telling darker tales later on, this was a gradual process and likely another facet of her unique magic - to match her own state with the nature of her stories. Telling other ponies about the loss of her beloved does nothing because the audience isn't a real part of the story, so maybe she needs to talk to *herself* about it to make any sort of progress.
With that said, however, the results may not be what she expects; after all, her eyes glowing red have always foreshadowed a grimly extreme take on what she said at the time. A foal's mouth "being washed clean off" took the form of him being drowned in a bathtub; Curse Word's beloved "leaving her alone" was interpreted as them being literally erased from her life (and everypony else's); her story being "the only one [the group of ponies] will ever hear" meant them dying so that they don't hear another story from anyone. Who knows what might really happen if she successfully uses the magic on herself, except for, perhaps, the Lost Narrator herself.
