So proud of my g8. I'm going to buy a new phone to use alongside it but the g8 is absolutely phenomeal value in 2022. V60 is is a legacy device at this point, it perfectly accentuate everything LG moble stood for.

If my bought in ATT store V30 from 2017 is still my other personal phone. Paid $900 for it. Late 2024 he is still going. I killed 4 otterboxes on it, but saved the phone. Dang make that 5 otterboxes I did just break the clip holster last weekend.
The V60 w a dual screen will actually fit into a holster type case. I hate the otterbox case for v60 in single screen mode. I started going into withdrawals when the dual screen stopped working. I can't live without it!

Helpful, thanks. I have an LG G7, now for 3 years and 3 months. The USB-port just went out but I have never had a phone this long and been happy until now.

Thank you for making this. I was trying to decide between the two but figured I'd go with the V60 for the beefier battery and better specs for not too much more money. Much appreciated!

Will have my v60 by next Monday. Currently have a apple 13pm but I want a secondary phone for an emergency/entertainment purposes. Although it’s not even comparable in almost every aspect, that quad dac is gonna be very useful. From 2015-2020 I’ve been using lg budget phones and loved the os. When I first started using the lg g7 I was very impressed! Can’t wait to own another lg device

Is there any other phone around 6 in with a 1440p OLED display and a quad DAC with DTX side to side surround sound that plays pretty much every game flawlessly with the battery that easily goes all day long including 10-hour screen time and an SD card slot? Or is the LG G8 still the best phone to date?

Video looks great for both phones. Most people would be very satisfied and creators will have a very capable tool in the V60. One Of the best for sure. Sound is phenomenal considering you're using the great built-in mics.

Just bought a refurbished G8 as a backup device for a absurd price of 150 bucks, I hope it will stay in a good state long term, would be down to pay much more for a brand new G8, but they are not be found anymore. I've had a bad experience with a refurbished S7, the camera module went defect and stopped working randomly in a few months. That is the risk we pay for refurbished devices. But we will see how long this holds up, the Quad Dac, amazing size is just insane value

I am watching this on one of my backup v60's w a dual screen. sept 2024. Some recent software bug happened w verizon that glitches out w a dual screen case. I did not realize how much I use the dual screen on a daily basis. I can swap out my service to a different one of the 3 copies i bought. Im going to try to live 1 screen life in the meantime for work. My other daily driver is a 2017 LG V30. Sound is great on it, but wow, the V60 is better. Oh, and the camera is much better. Even in auto mode. So glad i saw a video about the pathetic audio on a flagship galaxy phone for $1300. Heard the headphone performace. Never opened the box. Thank God. I bought 4 v60's and 3 dual screens. And a stylus i dont really use.

Great review my friend Nine Inch Nails love em still Yeah I just picked up a g8 the the qdac, but it's a snappy phone also. I really want to get a cup to and run it as long as possible all other phones no headphone jack, no sd card. I do wish they kept their removable battery, and didn't go after copying Samsung. I'll miss you LG

I just lost my g8. I need another one like mine. It was a dual phone as well. Where can I get another g8? I lost so much information with it, and the new phone doesn't provide a half of all goodies the LG thin G8 had....

The headphone amp on the G8 is a bit anaemic compared to the V60. Even the V35's amp is better. I have the V35 on Oreo to keep the Native DSD playback support and USB Audio Player Pro on both the G8 and V60. All great reliable phones/DAP.

Only thing I hated on my G8 were the crappy speakers! That and the screen size is why I upgraded to my LG V60 about 16 months ago! Gonna try apple for the first time in the near future but keeping this bad boy for sure!!

I can't do in display fp sensors. It's going to be tough to find a noticeable upgrade from my G8. The Pixel 5a is probably the last phone with a capacitive fp sensor and a headphone jack with a good camera.

2 yrs later I hope you tried a V 60. 2024 I tested out my moms newest I phone. It sucked so bad vs the V60. Get one of these! I got unboxed Verizon ones last year. They updated to android 13. You can record an obscene amount of 4k footage w an SD card. I believe it shoots 8k at 30fps.
The g series were not the flagship device. The V's will really make you happy if you liked the g device.

The LG display is QHD+ P-OLED and the screen is the speaker the first to do it and you can talk in a super loud place and still be able to talk. The face unlock is 👍👍🏾 and the hand ID works fine for me too.. Finger print work great.. You can also use active pen on the LG g8 too and much more..🤗😜

The V60 is the best V series ever... it has everything that you need in a modern smartphone having an SD card real headphone jack milspec 810g and ip68 rated 8gb ram up to 2tb expandable with 128 gb stock.. Snap 865 is beyond powerful basically competing with apples bionic chip in some areas... display although not the v40 quad display is still beautiful the c port already shit out but Wireless fast charging is almost as convenient
