Just a small tip for anyone trying to max out all their materia. Using both the Chocobo armband, linked with an AP up materia gives you both a 2x bonus as well as 3x bonus. So a fight that normally give you 10 AP will instead give 60 AP. I used this to max out all my Stat up materia, my elemental materia, and all my spell materia. In a single day by just grinding out the lowest level VR mission on repeat. Using Fire and magnify materia linked and a maxed out First Strike materia. 3 rounds that take around 20 seconds to complete total. Getting about 100-120 each go. It's very fast very easy.
Question. One of the armors u get triples the growth of any materia slotted in it. I think there is at least 1 link on it. So if u put ap up on this armor and slotted another materia that nneds to lv up wouldnt it equal 5x the exp since ap up doubles it and the armor triples it? Or would it be higher?
Hi! That was a great tips and tricks video! I'm finishing up Final Fantasy VII Remake right now and I'm planning on doing the Intermission DLC too and also playing the Rebirth Demo after I'm finished with Final Fantasy VII Remake! I can't wait to see how Rebirth handles the story and how the scope of the environments is going to look! I'm sure it will be great!
Can u please make a crafting recipe video iv crafted everything beat the game and I’m still 30 exp away from level 16 idk what or how to craft the genji equipment bc I’m not level 16 craftmanship
I use that cushion tip all the time since you can fast travel to practically every location on the map. I don't understand why even put the cushion option in the game to use the bench. To me it seems redundant as you'll often be able to craft them easily or it's just easier to use a normal bench.
It seems like the point of them is really just for efficiency. While it's very simple to just fast travel to an area with a bench that doesn't need a cushion, some people also don't want to really take that extra time to fast travel. I always tend to be staying around 15 cushions due to just finding them within crates, and it's just quicker to fill up MP at times using the benches at chocobo stops and then continuing into whatever side quest I might be doing, vs fast travelling somewhere, resting, and then fast travelling back.
The majority of this video is him telling you just to do side missions, nothing to so with mistakes. So if you are already doing that, then you don't need to watch this video that will likely waste your time.
It’s an ideal money maker tbf. Any items I have 80-99 of I just sell about 10-20 of, other than rare items unless they get to 99, because I’m a generic rpg hoarder 😂
Seems lot a lot going on in this game! Don't get me wrong, looking forward to doing it all. But does the fact that theres so much to do, take away from the main story?
Just finished the game today and I can confidently say no it does not interfere with the story. I chose to skip past a lot of the side quests bc I am way more interested in the main story, and I didn’t feel like I lost anything from doing that. Now that I’ve finished it though, I’m going back through the quests I skipped and playing them just to see what they were all about. But even though I didn’t do most of the quests I still had no issues with not having enough gil, good weapons, materia etc. There is a lot going on in this game for sure but honestly I think that is one of its strongest points. There is so much freedom to choose how involved you want to be with the side quests
@catherineobear9390 thanks so much for your reply. Sounds pretty much how I expect to play on my first run though. I absolutely love games like this with so much to do, but I do find it hard to stop myself getting too side tracked cause I like doing it all haha but I'm sure I'll be sweet! Thanks!
I miss the days when you had to fight a hard boss or search every corner in order to find secret chests for weapons. It just felt so much more rewarding then all of them just sat there in plain sight.
@@candyhandsjf7288 Yeah I agree actually, there are some you have to work for, you are right there. Fucking loving the game though, thats my only gripe. 80 hours in and just got to Cosmo canyon.
Cushions are cheap to make so it's honestly not worth the 3-4 minutes to fast travel, heal, them fast travel again. The materials needed for Cushions are the materials you were talking about that you'll constantly have 99 of.
there are special synergy abilities that increase your limit break level. I know one's cloud and red, I think one is cloud and aerith; not sure if there are more
@@midasthegreat9905 thx for replying, but could u explain a bit further please? I've been doing synergy skills for ages with Cloud and haven't leveled up my limit. I've used cross slash 100 times.
@piphead the game also explains this, but each battle you start at level 1 limit. When you use certain synergy abilities during battle, the limit level will increase for specific characters, for that specific battle.

You get chocobo armor at the chocosage it will give you triple Ap easy way to level your materia 😅
Really!?
@@JMu-jq6ruyes, chocobo armband. Only has 3 materia slots, but triples ap gain in those slots

Yes it works. You get 6x AP growth that way. It's great for Comet or Revival.
@@daniell91 cool that's what I thought. So it 6x ok

Anyone else not understanding why there's only 3 combinations of the party characters? They really needed 4 or 5 in my opinion
I missed out on soo much Iron Ore because I'm dumb and didn't clue in to having max amount.. shame!

I watch this video on 116 hours of gameplay and beaten the game 5 days ago
Does progression from part 1 carry over?
You get a couple summons for having Remake and Intergrade saved data but your actual progression does not carry over.
Yea but when u switch it doesn’t look good like the animation
I miss the days when you had to fight a hard boss or search every corner in order to find secret chests for weapons. It just felt so much more rewarding then all of them just sat there in plain sight.
There's been a couple locked behind minigames thats given me that "feeling" of reward but all in all, I agree with you.

Ap up is bad, just equip another materia. Ap loses all the ap it gets an in itself has no use
It’s if you want to level one specific material faster, not two materias
Im sure this game doesnt need this coverage for mistakes
But doesn't hurt to have it either
