@@tomandkelly Thank you for your order Tom. Please give me a call when you can to let me know which book you are missing, and I will take care of it right away.
@@treelineusa I already ordered the book from your website. I ordered the more expensive wood burning kit and wasn't sure if the book comes with that one. Thanks
@@tomandkelly Got it! You are right. We have a few different sets available and some come with a book while others come with an extra pen. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
Very Nicely done! I went to your website and sent a personal message about this kit. Thank you for such a nice introduction! I look forward to hearing back from you... Thumbs UP! just what I've been looking for.
I bought a Dual Razortip burner a few years ago (which is amazing) and am FINALLY around to getting more pens. It came with a pen that has a screw on each side, which I assume is to take make my own tip? I haven't done it. If I was going to buy just one more pen which would you recommend of these three?
Great question David. Each of these three make very different textures. The ball is probably the most dynamic pen and is the one I would recommend. The ball will let you make lines (curved and straight), shade, stipple, write, and do many other things. Feel free to give us a call if you would like any more help for specific projects you might have.
What size is the ball tip pen that comes with this kit? I bought the kit and want to get a smaller ball tip pen but don't want to purchase the same one I already have.
Hey Kyle. I just called and left you a voicemail. This kit comes with a 1.5mm (1/16") ball pen. The next size down would be the .8mm (1/32"). I hope that helps. Feel free to give us a call if you have any other questions.
I am interested in buy my first burner. However I am wondering should I buy interchangeable or fixed tips? Is there a reason to get on or the other? Besides price?
Great question! The tips are certainly less expensive and appealing when you first get started. We have found that after you get started with burning there are just a few different styles of tips you will use (generally speaking these commonly used pens are what we included in this kit). This is when most people have wished they went with a fixed tip pen. The fixed tip pens are more durable and carry a 1 year replacement warranty. You don't have to wait for them to cool down before you change to another pen, you always have a solid connection (sometimes it can be tricky getting the wire in the right place), and you can get a little closer to your work with the shorter tip. I hope this helps, but if you have more questions feel free to give us a call. We are always happy to help. 1-800-598-2743
The flip side to that is I use this burner for fish scales on carvings. Lots of tips, plus some that I make, would equal hundreds of dollars in pens. Tips are 1/3rd to 1/4th the cost purchased separately. Great unit.
No problem. Just place your order at www.treelineusa.com It will calculate the shipping for you during checkout. Please include a note with your order if you need a 220v power supply and we can make sure you get what you need. Thanks!
I'm new to this and I'm retuning the cheap one I bought on Amazon and just ordered this one. Thanks.
I think you will love it! Thanks Tom.
@@treelineusa Just got it and it works great. I didn't get the book with mine.

@@treelineusa Hi, can I use the burning tool on top of painted or stained wood?
@@jasminec.s.3977 Yes, but be careful about the fumes. It will also gum up your tips faster, but you should be able to clean them off.
Thank you !
