Thanks for the service procedure page! Testing my daughters 2010 Forester Ignition Coil it was the primary readings that were off. I was getting 1100 ohms for both 1-2 and 2-4 readings. Spark plug and plug wire were good.
One thing about the spark plug coil. Even if the resistance is correct, it doesn't mean the coil is good. It could have a crake in the plastic and will arc over to ground. To eliminate the coil, swap it with another cylinder. If it was the coil, the problem will have moved.
