    I wish they did more with this device. The screen like space had so much potential to show more UI elements... the wireless charging spot could also charge other devices like a bluetooth speaker if they ever made one... I'd love to be able to use this as a one-step dock for wireless devices with the direct connection via metal pins.

    I cannot find it anywhere to buy it in uk? Has it been removed from the shelves?

    • @zanevtech
      @zanevtech  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It seems that it’s sold out on the Anker UK site, also the same on the Amazon UK site. Very interesting. Still can be bought in US, not sure if it’s just sold out or removed…

      Yes, the plug is removable on the charging base. You will just need to buy a Type G to generic 2 plug power cable like this one: www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=36384&PMax+%7C+Offers+%7C+Early+Black+Friday+%7C+Monoprice&hsa_acc=6614305189&hsa_cam=20730153318&hsa_grp=&hsa_ad=&hsa_src=x&hsa_tgt=&hsa_kw=&hsa_mt=&hsa_net=adwords&hsa_ver=3&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAvoqsBhB9EiwA9XTWGSHSA8NL6UU_totgYjTo0uJUGWjlpFxCBO4fL-eSUw5zvoOinmzAzRoCcTQQAvD_BwE.

    I just bought the 200 how many charges can I get ? How long does it take to be fully charge the power bank ?

    • @zanevtech
      @zanevtech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anker states that their power banks last been 300-500 full cycles. One cycle is from depleted to 100%. Depending on usage, you will get a few years worth of use. Regarding recharging, if you use an 100W power adapter you should be able to charge it within 1 hour 15 minutes.

    Does the charging base heatup when charging the powerbank using pogo pins?

    • @zanevtech

      It stays around room temperature even when I have the power bank charging on top.

    Bought Prime Power Bank, and the charging base. Using for DJI drone equipment. Returning all. Charged one DJI battery alone and it went from 100% down to 35%.It is a paperweight as far as I am concerned. Will either look into other Anker devices that output more power or another option all together. I just didn’t understand the fact it didn’t have enough uuummphhh for what I needed.

    • @LiamMarcon
      @LiamMarcon 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You're talking about 'output more power' but you describe it not having enough capacity? Those are two different things. Anker prime has 3 different capacity products (12k, 20k, & 27.6k mAh), you should check the mAh of the batteries you're trying to charge and then buy a size you want.

    • @pupstudio
      @pupstudio 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LiamMarcon Thanks for the education on mAh. I must admit, I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to electricity, etc..

    • @lyndab.4077
      @lyndab.4077 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That was going to be my question because I kept looking for the mAh level of this base. So essentially, this can be used as a power strip in a sense as long as it's plugged to an outlet, correct?

    My power bank 200 never shows charging at 100w. I only see 47w or 22w all the time. Why don’t I get the full 100w charging.

    • @Built05STI
      @Built05STI 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      My guess would be battery longevity. You can’t charge at full power all the way through the charge otherwise you’ll damage the battery. This is standard practice for every type of chemistry.

    • @zanevtech
      @zanevtech  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Honestly, since I have had it, I keep it on the charging base when not in use. It seems that it stops charging the bank when it gets to 100%

    ポゴピン出力100w出そうとすると、他のポートが使えない。
    他のポート使うとポゴピンの出力が落ちる=モバイルバッテリーの充電に時間がかかる。
    それだったら、ポゴピン専用充電器作ったほうが良かったと思う。
    液晶パネル搭載なら、どのポートにどれくらい電流流してるのかくらい表示してほしかった。

      @zanevtech  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nope

    • @Sasoon2006
      @Sasoon2006 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@erikkuhlemeyer9402 If you mean do you need additional cable to charge, no you do not need it. But if you are asking is this technically wired charging, yes it is. Pins on the base come in direct electrical contact with metal contacts on the powerbank (wires in the base are connected to wires in the powerbank directly). The electrical current is transferred through these physical connections to charge the device.
      Wireless charging involves transferring power without physical connections, typically using electromagnetic fields. The most common form of wireless charging in consumer electronics is based on inductive charging, where an electromagnetic field is used to transfer energy between two objects (usually coils, one in the charger and one in the device) through the air.
      So this is not wireless charging, wires are involved, but you do not need additional cable.

      Mine was charging my 27,000 250w power bank , and I had it on top for 20 mins, the station started to get real hot and I was hearing a high pitch frequency sound admitting from it.
      It was charging my bank at 101w. But when I lifted it off the base the sound stopped.

  • @CAMTechChris

    My brand new 250w model stops outputting and turns itself off at around 35w. I can only get it to turn back on if I recharge it to close to 40%. Seems pretty lame since I can effectively get 75% of the battery for charging my devices. Am I doing something wrong here or is it just designed this way?

    • @zanevtech
