      Mine arrived brand new and completely dead in the box. I sent mine back to Anker yesterday. I can't trust the product now. The 737, however, has been flawless. Given that the 737 is under $90 for Prime members now, you really get more for your money with the 737.

      Love the prime 27650mah, I was lucky enough to have Chinese friends n return the one I bought from Amazon asap.. got it for 1/3 of the prize.
      200w n 250w version are the one that's actually worth it. Otherwise other brands are much better at a cheaper price.

    Basically what i need is :
    1. Fast charging power bank (not too extreme like 100+ watts, but at least 25 watts)
    2. Pass through charging (you can charge the power bank itself from the wall socket but simultaneously charging your phone too)

      @@isucatdrums9008 only powerbank(newer ones) from Anker that's worth buying is the prime 250w, maybe 737. But other brands offers better product in almost every categories but significantly cheaper. And if you're not using your powerbank to charge your laptop along the day with. 5-10k mah is plenty. Anything more than that's started to get bulky. These powerbank has ridiculous markup anyway. That ugreen 100w 20000mah without discount, retails at 34$... (219 rmb) So does Anker btw. The crazier things is the wholesale price is even more. So the seller on Amazon can just buys bulk from Alibaba, asked their Chinese suppliers to falsifying the value of the imported goods n get atleast 300%+ markup

  • @ultraSabotaj
    @ultraSabotaj 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

    I bought the 25.000mAh / 145w version of the ugreen for 83,99 usd on Amazon last week! Definite win here. I think it’s already back to 119 usd. Thanks for the video.

      I bought the same one. How are you finding it? is it heavy for you?

    • @ultraSabotaj
      @ultraSabotaj 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@vivekteega I noticed indeed when I first got it in that it is quite heavy. But when I look at this product from a use case perspective, I know this isn’t an EDC (every day carry) type of thing but rather an extension of the charging that I was not able to do at home in time. For example when I don’t feel like going on my macbook at home and want to spend a couple of hours outside somewhere with it, I will no longer be required to delay going out because I have to charge up to a certain level that I’m certain will be enough outside. Especially if there is a chance of no available outlets. Same goes for my phone actually. I caught myself a lot cursing myself because my levels were at 30% and I want to go out RIGHT NOW but I couldn’t. And since you’re charging your laptop with it anyway, anyone who carries his/her laptop will be okay carrying an additional battery like this, weight wise.
      Build quality is amazing by the way. Felt really really good to the touch. I have confidence as long as the batteries or ports don’t fail on me.

      It's his style. It's like reading a standard TOP 5 article, but with visuals. After the video, you can search for the product and see even more details, just like you'd probably do with the article.
      You can't compare Aaron to others, it's like comparing milk to cheese. Different things.
      You commented negative comments on this video for three times, two of them are very similar. Are you bored, or you hate people? If the channel is not to your liking, there's a way of saying things, or you can move along to the next video.

      @@Delicate141 His style of making low effort top 5 videos? Sounds about right. I bought a case for a phone he said is the best case. After using it for a bit it’s actually shit. After 3.5 years it broke down, entire time super slippery - which he never tested nor mentioned in a video… Casetify had way better cases. I was doing research about best chargers and power banks and found really good, although small channels. I saw this guy’s video as I was subbed - i thought let’s see what he shows and says. Well, 100x less info, almost 0 data shown, just “trust me bro” list and “secret testing” that I could do with a €30 tool. For a channel that probably gets close to €1000 per video, it’s a total joke and fanboys like you keep digging these videos. It’s crazy. It’s like watching Jake Paul boxing and be like “damn, he is such a good boxer, super technical and underrated”. He is popular, doesn’t mean he is a good boxer - this applies here and I’m commenting so others learn and maybe this channel owner will accept criticism and learn something, put more work in his video.

    I just bought the Anker GaNPrime 733 on sale a few days ago based on your suggestion previously for exactly the reason highlighted in this video - having a battery and charge brick integrated into a single item to carry is going to be perfect for keeping a tidy travel bag. I like that it does full 65W when plugged in which matches the wattage of the brick I was already carrying anyway for my iPad Pro and MacBook Air.
    My prior power banks charged gear from battery at 18 and 24 watts which is waaaaay toooo slowww for bigger devices; 30W on battery with the Anker GaNPrime just squeaks across the threshold into acceptable for me.

    Thanks for the review...appreciate the capacity test numbers to verify you get what's being advertised. I'm seeing a lot of Anker Prime knockoffs on Amazon with $60-80 pricing and thinking they can't have the actual mAH capacity they are touting. Lastly, could you start adding a mention if each power bank supports pass-through charging as well. This is one reason I chose the Anker Prime, that I can run a USB-C device (like the new Starlink Mini) WHILE also charging/maintaining the Anker Prime power bank with my foldable 45w solar panel.

I couldn't believe how easy it was to charge a MacBook Pro needing a 65W input with it. There is a power bank that is never mentioned, but the Jackery explorer 100+ is 100 watts (real watts, no x 1000's of mA [1 amp!]) and should be in this category. It has 100 watts of LFP power so it won't get hot, has no thermal runaway issues, and won't catch fire. Two USB type c (both bi-directional) and a type A with the the USB c's both rated to 100 watts each. And with 3000 usable charge / recharge cycles to 80%, this one will still be going strong after you have gone thru 4 or 5 of the "traditional" power banks. The jungle company has these on sale pretty often for $99. And yes, these can legally go on an aircraft and probably get you thru the longest international flights. I also have your number 2 choice as i also like Anker products in general. Great review!

    I know the Anker charger and power bank, but expensive than others, but I like the plugs. I like the Baseus 65W GaN Charger Quick Charge 4.0 Type C PD USB Charger Portable Travel Charger Fast Charging For Laptop iPhone 15 14 13 and it is cheaper and very high quality this company produced. all my cables are from Baseus. The Baseus 65W is a travel charger and provides 3 different plugs with it. just pull it the plus and insert British European or Australian. the price was reduced to 40 Canadian dollars.

    6:20 It probably wasn't fully charged. It continues to charge for 15 or 20 minutes after it shows 100%.

    First time watcher. Love everything about the video, but you change camera to fast, can't even read the names of the powerbanks. It gets tiring to the point of not wanting to watch anymore. Just something to think of if you want to improve retention. Otherwise great video!
