I have a new Browning rifle. A Xbolt Hells Canyon Speed Long Range 280AI. Looking at the Leupold scopes in VX6 HD
3-18×50 mm TMOA
4-24×52 mm TMOA
Putting the setup together. To take on a spring bear hunt next spring. In either Idaho or Montana, hopefully. I put a 1 piece 20 MOA base on mine, too. Does the scope track like it should?

I just purchased this scope 3x18x55 illumination tmoa it's in the mail... using on a cig cross in .308
I have only one Leupold scope. An older 6.5 X 20 X 40 with adjustable parallax. This scope has Ben a keeper, I won't get rid of. My other 4 scopes are Zeiss. They won't be going anywhere .

Honestly it's ok. Doesn't come on the moment the rifle is off can't. I think one would be better off with a bubble level. I suppose it had to have some flaws haha
Just picked up vx-6hd 3-18x44 TMOA. How do I figure out my holds on the tmoa reticle? Any tips on getting hold overs? App?
Well I say depends in your load and velocity. I get a zero and range targets at hunting distances. Shoot at center and see your drops at those distances. Or you can get all the chrono data
The scope come with a free CDS turret. Go through the process and order on and you can forget about calculating holdovers. Just calculate windage. It is a SUPER system.
@@Skyhawks1979 yup I did but got a faulty unit, ended up getting mk5hd tho. Sadly that one does not come with free CDS.
I’m looking at this and the 4-24x52 since it’s SFP would the 3-18x50 be better because the power is not to high so my holds will be easier?🧠🤯🔫
I find that that normally I don't go beyond 12x on most scopes. What is your application? Hunting or target shooting

Yes you do get more light coming through
