Awesome video! Thank you for making it so easy to follow. Appreciate the information. About to do my 2nd factory reset and let the car sit for a few hours. Hopefully, it works!!! 🤞💯😊
Exact same issue with no sound and can’t control the radio sources, etc. checked all fuses, ohm’d them and there all fine. Did master reset, no luck. Still cannot change sources, radio stations etc. Going to do second master reset and leave car overnight. Thinking could be the audio control module like others have mentioned. But thank you so much for this video.
@@db1825 I replaced the module myself, it was actually quite easy with some trim tools I had already bought on Amazon and the module I got used I looked up from a local wrecking yard. About $100-150. Just made sure the serial numbers matched up.
Thank you buddy, I was having the exact problem you described in the beginning of your video, I tried master reset but nothing then I went to the fuses and just unplugged fuse # 79 to check if it was blown up but it was ok, but then when I connected it back radio came to life again.
In a last ditch effort I re-tinned my ACM, i removed the Audio control module, this is the part that has a disk player in it. Open the unit remove the disk player and plastic wire ribbons. you should be left with just the control board. The plastic plugs are a very high temp plastic and will be just fine. turn on your oven to 375-400degrees and bake the mother board for 10-15min. do not bake the plastic wires on the CD player it will cause permanent damage. Doing this refreshes all the soldering joints on the unit. Allow to cool. then reassemble. Mine actually worked just fine after this process.
Thanks for attempting to be helpful appreciate it! If you make any more videos please don’t include information that not useful like the fuse box under the hood thanks!

Friend the stereotype of my Ford scape if you connect to Bluetooth but you don't hear anything and the FM and AM radio don't play you think it's a fucible because at the same time I stop working the censors of reverse or car detection you can help me friend thanks
Two questions. Do have to have your car on when checking the fuses? And to check the fuses do I just press them one at a time and then check my radio audio after each one?
You should have your car off when checking fuses. As for your question about pressing fuses, look up which ones are connected to the radio then pull those specific ones out and inspect. It will be pretty obvious if the fuse is blown. I recently am having the no sound issue with my 2014 Escape. This video does not fix it. Most likely it is the ACM (audio control module) that needs to be replaced.
Joe Mama my Ford Escape 13 works every thing but the audio, started sound like interference and then just mute no sound at all. Fuses ok tried disconnect the battery n didn’t, the acm could be my problem as well you think?.
I just paid to have a new acm put in my Ford fusion for the same problem, and was surprised that I didn't need to re connect my phone, and even an old phone was still listed, and even my bass and treble settings were still where I had them. Is this possible if they really did replace the acm, or have I been scammed? I thought I would have to reset everything, but I dont know for sure. Thank you!
@@matthewtucker8994 I so agree! I have been doing everything I can to avoid the dealership too. When i did call, they said it would be around $1400 plus! insane when its their product issue. THANKS SO MUCH. Gonna try to take it apart and buy a new ACM

Thank you so much. It was so clearly explained. I am going to try now and hopefully the fuse or reset will help turn on my radio. Thank you again.
Baked it at 400* in the oven for 13 mins to reflow solder
Works great again! Likely what the eBay sellers are doing with cores

let me sum this up.
check all the fuses that apply to the sync system.
then do a master reset.
you're welcome.
But he rolls that Rrrrr so well.....
Im doing this right now. All the fuses are fine. So what reconnect the battery?
Didn’t work for me
Ended up getting the radio repaired from a mail in place. Works good so far!

Mines blows the fuse behind the glovebox sometimes. Check the fuse number 67 it’s a 7.5 amp fuse.
It didn't work on my 2015 Taurus. In your video your screen said to remove SD card and you didn't when you did a master reset.
Replace Audio control module the CD player that sits on top is the screen
This is what I have to do but I can't find any tutorials on how to do it. Are you able to point me in the right direction @ Joe Mama?
