I got the replacement from CD4Car online. I first called the stealership to validate the model number of the unit to make sure I got the correct replacement. The radio replacement was for a customer, to my knowledge it’s still working fine.
Very helpful - thanks! I was taking the radio out of a US Ford Fiesta, which had the same stupid yellow connector at the back, had no idea how to remove it - thanks!
@ could be a duplicate process for other configurations with large touch screens and different panel layouts. I don’t think that’s the case on this one, but it’s definitely not the first time I’ve come across unnecessary steps in a procedure.
Appreciate the video man. Quick question, where did you source the replacement ACM? Also does the replacement still work? I've heard that there's some fussy Ford proprietary software that makes the module quit after a while.

The climate control module may have tabs on the back that hold in the center section above. You could try it without removing those pieces and it might work out. This was just the steps in the procedure so I followed them.

Glad it helped
Did another one of these and skipped the removal of climate module and shifter trim and had no issues.
i wondered why the climate control panel plus the tunnel trim had to be removed when you can access everything from the top three panels.

where are you located and what would you charge to do this to mine? no sound either, but menus still work.
I’m in central KS. $150 plus parts is what I do this job for.
@ no way! I figured your answer would far away, what town? Can I DM you somewhere I don’t see a message option here.

What's the point of removing the climate control part and gear shifter?

Bake in oven at 40”* for 13 mins to reflow solder! Worked great , cost nothing
Didn’t see that in my reading. I definitely would have tried it!
