@@BOSTON6171 yeah, I only did two UE after signing up forever ago… and then that was right before my car broke down and for two different repairs was gone for a total of five weeks. Not supposed to Dash etc. in the loaner I had so I couldn’t go back to my car at the dealership across the street and get my bags like I planned to. Since it was through the dealership, I got the loaner. I did do three quick nearby deliveries. But just because I really needed some food money. And the car was the same make n just slightly smaller size -but otherwise similar - model (ELANTRA versus sonata) and it was a different Blue, but still blue. Having said that, they were good orders like 14 bucks for 7 miles Max… literally both about it with an a dollar each other… and not even during prime times…. And I didn’t need a pin for either of them. It has to be customers who have had issues or the drivers have in the past when they ordered. Now that doesn’t necessarily mean that they scammed. They could just have an apartment that is difficult to get to. But anyway I was apologetic like I’m sorry I do food delivery, but this is my first time on this app. Because I passed the turn using their GPS and then it said I had arrived so I parked, even though I just had to walk across the grass to the other side of the building. So it took me an extra whole couple minutes at that point. But I hate being late because my starter needed replacing and so I had a couple delays getting to restaurants where I was a couple minutes late so my on-time rate on DD has been stuck at 83 forever even though I go directly to the customer, and thankfully, usually just have to deliver to houses. Finding the right apartment can definitely take up that five minute window to be on time. Especially for nearby ones. Once everything in my car was fixed, I actually got an offer worth going (it wasn’t the greatest ever but for this time of year and considering that it was from a restaurant that last time it was going under a mile and it was offered ar 7.25 but after I hit “confirm” on the delivery being delivered it went up to $21 (a few cents less but I forget exactly) and this was after I had to reset, and was already well under 50% AR. So Im always OK with it being what the offer was originally if I took it (and anything else is gravy) when something was 10 miles away, going from that restaurant for $17.75 or something I grabbed it. I didn’t even have a long wait like I usually do there. But it was one not huge bag maybe two meals I think if I remember right. And while I did not expect it to triple like the last one… which was only a bag about the same size, and one slightly bigger.. but it was a mile, so I guess that’s why they only showed seven something… but not shockingly it did not go up a dollar. But my point anyway (so I felt compelled to explain why I took a 10 mile order going to another zone 😂 especially when they normally offer like two dollars for that or if somebody gave a five or six dollar tip then seven or eight dollars. but it’s often a lot more than 10 miles too- STg) I was 24 minutes earlier than expected ETA. Obviously when you’re going 3 miles you have a little bit less traffic leeway built in I guess before the ETA never mind the five minute window. So I guess one good thing about the longer deliveries distance- wise is that what they do allow offer if you hit every red light. Which tends to happen to me when I’m only going like a mile and there’s two lights. 😂
Every hand to me order is a potential contract violation. Best to have a gopro on so you have evidence that the order was received by the customer. Safe Driving!
Really? It ain’t that bad! Many customers say hand to me. Many customers say leave at door then open door when you walk up n take order. No contract violations. They know I’m coming cuz I tell them so. 5.0 customer rating
You are overestimating the prowess of a sewer rat. They eat-seek-eat without knowing the damage they cause. This sewer rat simply sought a free meal without regard to the consequences. Small road bumps in the adventures of life. Keep on keepin' on Dashers!
I have the same ones, but they were from my younger daughter, who has a bunch of pairs and was making room for new stuff. Where did she get them? Because somebody yesterday said they were from Dollar General or something. 😂
I've gotten two violations for lateness, first of all I'm not gonna be rushing to drop off a order in time going over the speed limit and receiving tickets for going over the speed limits, first of all people aren't tipping and they are not paying my tickets that I have to pay my hard earned money back to the city.
I ALWAYS tell the customer “mind if I take a picture for the app?” So far 10/10 they say “go ahead take the picture”. I take the pictures into my camera roll and delete them at the end of the month. And I send the picture to the chat feature as well as my “thank you for the tip” message. And that’s how I get support to help me out. Some people might think this is too much but better be safe than sorry.
I don’t even ask them. I have my camera ready and when they open the door and I’m hand it to him I snap the picture and then I send it to them in messages so they also know that I got it.
I do the exact same thing. My pic shows me on gps at their location with the chat info & get a pic for the app. I delete both pics per customer at the end of the following week ❤Gotta CYA cos there’s a lot of trash/bs customers out there
A customer had huge roach bugs on their porch so I put the bag on a table next to their front door. I sent her a picture. She didn't see it and since the bag wasn't sitting at her front door, she reported it never arrived. I got a violation. I appealed with a photo showing the bag on the table and a time stamp showing her address. Doordash NEVER removed it even though I had proof. Support confirmed I was right but just said the violation will drop off after 100 deliveries. Even if you do everything right, you still loose!!
I get suspicious when the children order. I be wondering if they'll say they didn't receive their order. Parents let them order under their names. I know when it's a child bc he/ she texts a lot to see if I'm on my way. And it's always munchies.
I was deactivated from doordash because of this reason. Same person reported me twice, but the second time I delivered I recorded dropping the food on including the house number and deets. That way I could show the customer it was in fact delivered and doordash as well! I pray people like this knows that what comes around does go around.
Had the same thing happen the other night while delivering a Weis Marker order… Jokes on that stupid customer cos I screen shot everything including the photo at the drop off. The photo clearly showed the house number and I verified that with DoorDash support. I’m still waiting on the violation to go away. These customer’s have to be held accountable! (The funny thing is the water they ordered was Weis brand and that was in the photo) 🤣
First of all, Chuck received one and fought it and won yayyy for Chuck and secondly if she signed how are they agreeing with her that she didn't get it. Also everyone should have a pin that we don't know that way they can't say they didn't get it period....
I had a similar order and called DD right after the delivery. The customer kept texting me and I reported that too. No one pays enough for me to listen to your garbage.
Pro tip 9897:Text the customer a picture of their door and house number. And say thanks for your order it was hand delivered above. Screen shot that convo. If someone didn’t get their food they should responding to that message. If you receive a cv upload that convo and explain the order was hand delivered and you confirmed with the customer in chat. If a person was even thinking about lieing they might change their mind after receiving a message with a pic of their door and confirmation the order was delivered.
@@TheREAL1reacts so I read the info box down to the very end. Although I personally don’t like Clickbait, which I consider this kinda to be, I am glad that you weren’t dumb enough to get deactivated over one clown. So glad you said that you didn’t actually go to the customers house! I was like dude what are you doing, you’re killing your credibility right now - for all the reasons you said you didn’t actually go. #stillcredible!
I had a customer report me for the same reason a few months ago. It was a hand it to me dropoff. I knocked on their apartment door and they never answered the door so I left it at the door and later that day I see a contract violation for order not received by the customer. I sent my dispute report and within two days the violation was removed. I have not gotten another delivery request to that customer since..
had the same thing almost happen to me, stood there at the door knocking for almost 10 mins, send them a text if no ones at home im fixing to cancel the order , and low and behold they came to the door. turned on my camera to record the video as well! i just knew they wanted me to just leave it lol
I remember when i first started watching you some dude said he didn't get his subway and you went back and confronted him. That's probably the worst thing you've done but ya rightly justified bc people can be pos. A good way of protecting myself is the final pic is almost never has the food in it I always get address or at least street view and if the stuff I dropped off is in that photo is irrelevant bc it proves I was there. Many a contract violation have fallen off bc I do this and message/text a description and pic of the food and final pic is ALWAYS address/street view.
Well, anyone can take a picture and pick up the food but it would be nice if they saw 12,000 deliveries or something and realized that the customer was probably lying. Especially if it was a burrito or some other thing for 20 bucks and not like a $200 steak and lobster dinner for two 😂Having said that…. We should totally be allowed to put two photos. Yeah I mean you can text things to the customer but that all takes time that can make you considered late. I guess you could take a picture of the house number if it’s not near where the food is and send that in the text to customer after sending the photo of the food if the number is not near it as the actual confirmation photo. But I’m not sure how you would do it without seeming dumb or insulting them. Just like I usually don’t take a picture what a hand it to them unless it was supposed to be leave at door or sometimes even then. I just got hope Most people are honest because I really am not out to insult the customers. Or have them worry that I’m taking pictures of them.
@rachmunshine9474 We shouldn't have to do those things, but we have to protect ourselves. Do whatever it takes to protect yourself versus worrying about if the customers insecure or not
I used time stamps first and then do what the apps tells me and take a picture and even that I screen shot. Then I screens shot the front of the place or house. But time stamp is the key, tells you the time you drop it off and the house and the number.
There’s honestly no good reason not to confront them. Because at this point they’re trying to get you fired anyway so fuck it. Do you know I did a delivery to a woman in a bank last year that put the wrong address in? But the address was just one of those simple 620 W. such and such versus 620 E. such and such. No big deal. Drove around found her. Got there. My son was actually with me at the time and I let him hand the order out of the car. As I’m driving off, I noticed that she canceled the order. So I got out of my car with my son, went into the bank and confronted her in front of her boss and said hey my son and I just brought you this food. I don’t understand why you canceled it and she said well I canceled it because I was on my break and my break was over. So I asked her in front of her boss and customers and everyone else then why didn’t you give me the order back if you were refusing to now pay for it? Why would you allow my 11-year-old son to hand you something that you know? Damn well you were going to try to rip him off for? Like seriously I understand that you don’t care about me because I’m just some random dude in the world, but could you look at my son and tell him that you’re OK with stealing from him? She got really embarrassed tried to hand me the food back tried to hand me cash. I told her I didn’t need any of it. I needed her to go back into the account and do things the right way and that if she didn’t then I would have to come back tomorrow. And of course nothing happened from that. And I never showed back up there and honestly I couldn’t tell you what she looks like out of a line up now. But that day? She was the nastiest bitch that I’ve ever seen in my life.
I tip 20% minimum. Having my food fast and handled carefully is easily worth 20%. And, yes ... it matters. If you've never tipped (shame on you first of all), but try tipping and see the difference. For big orders I'll do 35%.
Last time i got a violation it did glitch real quick and say extremely late, then switched to never arrived. Just going bacm to the whole buggy crappy built app thing again

This is the main reason I just quit doordash. Moved on. I can’t stand miserable customers id rather do a different side hustle I just resell now. And other stuff but doesn’t really matter I just hate that I can’t doordash cause people suck that bad. People are so rude. I made my first mistake after 313 deliveries and the customer cussed me out… and he even got his food. I just made a little mistake that I fixed right away. It’s crazy how rude people are for nothing . And a lot of it is the gen z and just young adults in general I would say adults under 40 act so immature I’m 23 but if someone is doing me a favor and I agreed to pay and take that service I don’t care if something isn’t perfect. I will be happy as long as there nice and tried there best. I know this doesn’t fully relate to the video but this guy that was rude obv didn’t tip. It’s just so sad how miserable people are cause they have hard lives.. doesn’t mean you take it out on others with a hard life. Or others in general. People need to grow up and do things on there own or respect the ones doing it for them. And doordash needs to get there shit together and start caring about there drivers. If I ever decide to deliver again I’m going with Uber eats.. after 300 deliveries and 4.90+ rating the whole time I finally got my first 1 star and it was from a miserable bum who can’t help himself so hurts others. Sick world. More like sick people in this world. But just so everyone knows keep hustling cause the good hard working nice people always win in the end. I fight with being nice everyday cause people are so mean for nothing. But we can’t scoop down to there level cause that makes you no better.
I just got one this morning and this infuriates me cuz I watched her grab the order from the porch I had just looked at my stats before that and then shortly after and there it was so I knew it was that lady but she didn’t count on me having a dash cam and the photo says it all I will not tolerate this I will do whatever it takes to protect myself thanks again Pedro
There's a guy in my town who uses Uber Eats to scam. He uses addresses near his home. He meets you at your car. Then he walks up the street to his house. Then removes the tip.
That’s when I said a while back that DoorDash is starting to coddle no tippers. no longer tell anymore if they leave a tip a lot of times because of the high base pay on those orders
Besides auto part drop-offs, I had 1 customer signature required. I thought it was a glitch, but after seeing this, I realized those are the liars and DD are keeping track of them. But usually I video hand-off orders from my car cam or if I go inside their job I take a pic of food on front desk to show I was there
Yeah and most customers are OK with it but then most customers aren’t they’ll be really snobby and snappy with you. Those are the ones that wanted to scam you for free food but now they can’t because I know you have proof because I’ll leave it right there on the desk and take a picture of the other people in the background on purpose, and it will be sent right to their phone and if they opt out of text messaging, because that’s what I’ve noticed too. Some of them won’t have that text message bubble they’ll just have that phone icon. That means they opted out of it so you don’t have no way of having proof that you delivered it but I have a secret to that I’ll sit there and make them wait five minutes, for the five minute timer, I’ll still get my picture. I had one guy do that to me one day as well who was at a house crappy order get to the house he opted out of text messaging. It was a handed to him, but he wanted me to leave it at his door so I made him wait five minutes to receive his food. Got my picture took a picture turn around and walked away. He opened up the door when I was almost to my car. I looked back at him and I just waved at him and said thanks and he was pissed
@bobg3221 The scammer was trying to be smart, not opting in to messaging and then telling you on the call (I assume you had to call him to receive his instructions to leave it instead of the hand it to him). Because if it’s a hand it order but you’re able to see in a message that he tells you to leave it, you can screenshot that and save it as proof. But he wasn’t counting on you being more clever and snuffing that out with the timer. Good job man.
Pedro you're 100% on point. I see another comment about why these scumbags keep getting orders and good question. I can't believe there isn't a way they can block all the persons info, ie phone, address, IP etc. We do it in the taxi business and I'll bet door dash technology better. Great video I learm from you all the time and appreciate it

I am sitting on a c.v from a week ago tonight. I was so confused he and i had a good report when i picked up his items and told him lines were long. I read his specific directions for finding his house. It was leave at door so i messaged him delivering, ty, etc. Sent me a 5.00 extra tip before i was even out of the driveway. Get home 15 min later, c.v. not delivered. Because i had messaged him i was still able to message him again, very kindly, said i noticed there were two doors going into the home, did i leave it at the wrong door? He actually felt bad that i got a c.v. explained how i confused the drop off and said it wasn't my fault. So. I guess that was me confronting but very nicely because i felt very bad about it and was trying to understand how i messed up.
Hey it's kind of funny because the day before whenever this violation incident happened you had those doordash scammers call you questioning your Chipotle delivery that you were in when you had a Papa John's delivery
I've gotten about 15 violations from the would-be doordash customers. I even got 2 in one night one time. Since I started recording all hand it to me deliveries, I've gotten ZERO violations. They stare at the camera too in disappointment. They think twice this time about reporting they never got their food.

Happened to me with a Taco Bell order when I first started Dashing. I really take my deliveries seriously and make sure I do every delivery as a detail oriented person. I knew I dropped the order off properly and still got a Contract Violation. I disputed it and indicated that I submitted a picture of the delivery. In the end it seems that we just have to suck it up. How long till this contract violation drops off?

Hmmm how fast the story changed when the police came knocking at her door. Play with me if you want,….
Funny that you say that I had that happen to me last week it was at a place of business and I’ve been there before but I’ve never delivered to this lady. It was an OK offer. It wasn’t the best. She must’ve been watching me on her phone because when I pulled up, it said hand it to me or hand it to recipient so that’s what I was going to do. I got out of the car and I walked towards the front doors. She walked out and was coming towards me and laughed, jokingly saying.” that was a long walk.” and I politely smiled and kind of snickered and said excuse me I just got to take a quick picture of it just let me take a quick picture of it thank you I took my picture. I screenshot it and I told her politely thank you and she was the nastiest person after that giving me an attitude, and kind of just giving me a ahhh huuu! Kind of attitude, so I turned around and called her a bitch don’t be pissed off at me because I’m doing my job. She was pissed off because she wanted to scam me see that’s why I do mostly Uber because they actually have a pin for the order.
This is why DD needs to issue EVERY customer a 5 digit pin that they MUST give to the driver personally when they accept the order from the driver. No more leave on porches anymore! All MUST be handed to the customer in their hands.
I still have one pending for being "extremely late." In my case, it was just cuz it was busy and I needed to get gas after dropping off orders. Been a month and still no feedback. Also, I agree. Customers need to be held accountable. Most customers in my market are generous. I rarely see no tip offers but I've heard horror stories about other markets.
Always gas up before you start your shift. Then no stress n you’re never late. In my first year 2020, I picked up an order n realized I needed gas. I texted customer n said sorry for the delay or I might run out of gas on the way to you. I might get hungry… She responded 😳😳😳 I texted joking!! I’ll be there soon! She texted 😂😂😂😂😂 It was all good! She laughed. But from then on I always gassed up before I start dashing. I do NOT make my customers wait cuz I was too lazy before I started dashing.

Ban the address and credit card DOORDASH!!!!!😡
Instead of a signature, we should have to scan in their ID.
No way. The IDs in Michigan never scan properly. No no no.
Good idea. Or a thumb print. If they don’t accommodate they don’t get to order anything.
I knew it was a skit when I saw the customer 😂
I’m sorry this happened to you. It’s amazing that clowns will jeopardize our jobs for a free buritto.

I have the same ones, but they were from my younger daughter, who has a bunch of pairs and was making room for new stuff. Where did she get them? Because somebody yesterday said they were from Dollar General or something. 😂
Which would explain why they definitely don’t feel very comfortable or supportive.

I delete both pics per customer at the end of the following week ❤Gotta CYA cos there’s a lot of trash/bs customers out there
I screenshot every single order. I do so that if anything comes up, I can go back.
Some dude did that to me for an order and I went back to egg his house
Not the greatest idea

I get suspicious when the children order. I be wondering if they'll say they didn't receive their order. Parents let them order under their names. I know when it's a child bc he/ she
texts a lot to see if I'm on my way.
Some of these people are just trash
Right on , really jokes on them
Love it! …”Maybe the chipotle bowl gave her diarrhea or the runs “😂
I got my popcorn and I’m ready for this one! Oh boy!
It wasn’t real 🥴
First of all, Chuck received one and fought it and won yayyy for Chuck and secondly if she signed how are they agreeing with her that she didn't get it. Also everyone should have a pin that we don't know that way they can't say they didn't get it period....
I had a similar order and called DD right after the delivery. The customer kept texting me and I reported that too. No one pays enough for me to listen to your garbage.
Signing for chipotle seems crazy ??
Pro tip 9897:Text the customer a picture of their door and house number. And say thanks for your order it was hand delivered above. Screen shot that convo. If someone didn’t get their food they should responding to that message. If you receive a cv upload that convo and explain the order was hand delivered and you confirmed with the customer in chat. If a person was even thinking about lieing they might change their mind after receiving a message with a pic of their door and confirmation the order was delivered.
This can’t be real. Not my boy Pedro. They did my boy Pedro like that? This is ridiculous and reprehensible.

@Pedro God Bless You! Stay positive!
Do whatever it takes to protect yourself versus worrying about if the customers insecure or not
If they signed it you definitely should have not gotten a contract violation I don't understand that
I used time stamps first and then do what the apps tells me and take a picture and even that I screen shot.
Exactly, I always tip always unless the service is horrible
Why’s the title say you were deactivated if you weren’t.
Last time i got a violation it did glitch real quick and say extremely late, then switched to never arrived. Just going bacm to the whole buggy crappy built app thing again
DoorDash need to start let customer give you a PIN LIKE UBER

They do that for customers who continue to report they don't get there orders
I’ve had a few of those. Pain in the ass
Yes there are, it's annoying and some of them act like it's the end of the world. I'm tired of these trash ass customers. Iv had 2 contract violations for dumb reasons. At the first of the following month .they typically fall off. Just future reference@@j3marty320

Yep, pretty trash content tbh
I take pictures of these customers now when they say handed it to me.
I take a picture with all my door dash orders. Leave at door and hand to me.
You’ll be fine Pedro. Your account is not in jeopardy. Your track record on the DoorDash platform is already in good standings with the algorithm.
@bobg3221 Right, you have to have your backup proof
@bobg3221 The scammer was trying to be smart, not opting in to messaging and then telling you on the call (I assume you had to call him to receive his instructions to leave it instead of the hand it to him). Because if it’s a hand it order but you’re able to see in a message that he tells you to leave it, you can screenshot that and save it as proof. But he wasn’t counting on you being more clever and snuffing that out with the timer. Good job man.
Hell no if she didnt admit that it was her fault and was slamming that door i would keep that door open and demand apology and money
Pedro you're 100% on point. I see another comment about why these scumbags keep getting orders and good question. I can't believe there isn't a way they can block all the persons info, ie phone, address, IP etc. We do it in the taxi business and I'll bet door dash technology better. Great video I learm from you all the time and appreciate it
Always remember in life when people do you wrong, they will reap what they have sown. Don’t think she’s getting by, God saw it. Never good to cheat the system and jeopardize other ppl jobs.
Wow Doordash should start asking for a pin like ubereats
#1 Put her address on here and put her on blast bro. #2 I always take a picture of me holding the items in front of the address before I hand it to them. #3 no contract violation because I have the picture when DD says they don't have it. Customer has it as well because I send the customer the text with the picture on it. Let's Go!!

Hey Maddison has some cute slippers 😂
All MUST be handed to the customer in their hands.
your totaly right, customers reporting non delivered food is up 1000 % !

I might get hungry…
