I think Pinays are some of the nicest, talented and most beautiful people in the world and are wonderful friends

You sound terrific in any and all colors.
The portions in Tagalog are moving even though I can't understand any of it, literally. Great concept, great performance.
well yah .. she's so gorgeous!!
Charmaine is an important artist performing an important song. Every Filipino and every person of color (and women in general) should dig this. Love the afro. Sing it, girl!
you inspire me Charmaine!
Ms. Charmaine Clamor is a true Renaissance Filipina!! Her music transcends modern day and her representation in our documentary Mosquito Filipino as an artist singing the classic "Dahil Sa Iyo" credits her a true legend in the making!!!! Join our Mosquito Filipino Facebook Fan Club!!

Thank you for sharing this message Charmaine. Keep doing what you're doing we need this.
Stunning. Powerful lyrics and an amazing singer. Mabuhay!
Wow, Ms. Clamor, I'm discovering your music. You surprise me. You're amazing!
usually i don't like Jazz vocals, but this is pretty dang good! NICE!
Powerful voice! Loving this song....and just in for 30sec...:-) Thanks Stanley for hitting me too this beautiful artist.
Composing new Tagalog lyrics seems pretty original to me! Never heard a version of "My Funny Valentine" like this before.
Also, "jazzing it up" is not the exclusive domain of African-Americans. Jazz welcomes ALL practitioners, regardless of race. Including proud Pinays!
Proud to be Brown!
between this song and Janis Ian's at seventeen....most wonderful lyrics and singing for women.
Exciting news!
Ms. CC is to star in a feature film "Mariasia" in 2014. Stay tuned!!!
i love ur pride..I have your looks.. Tanned skin, bulbous nose with no bridge.. I battle against my physical image. Full of insecurities. After watchin this video, makes me feel good at least and thinkin about not to change my ways.. I realize I dont want to be a cookie-cutter.. Dont want to be generic. cuz I'm unique & my appearance is one of a kind. hehe :P
ahlaveet!
beauty is not a shade of color...
skin color is not an issue actualy .. filipina skin varies from dark-light ... it's just there are some people out there who don't understand a filipino culture...
she looks better with the afro! =D
@hotdrumchick So true.
id hit it lol
a Victorian philapino who has talent!!
all i want in a woman haha
I think she looks better with tan
nog nog si nok

A)Charmaine is not capable of ugliness, no matter what kind of wig she wears.
B)She is certainly a "hot pinay girl," but that is not the point of this video. It's about accepting your native looks with pride.
C)Listen to the lyrics and the different wigs and makeup will probably make sense.
@thewindows1122
Filipino girls are gorgeous, and Charmaine certainly isn't the best specimen. However, I think the song is about not being ashamed if you have more of a flat nosed look about you.
look you're missing my point...
i said i don't like the music..
i don't like the genre...
what's wrong with you people?
hi michaelpinguin 12, spell your words correctly first before you write them. Dont you get the message of this video?
Brown is Nice ! The darker the Berry ,
stop trying to lighten your color fool !
The irony of it all...Pinays are not Afro-Americans either but she clearly tries to jazz it up like one. Pretty good vocalist but nothing original.
yeah i buy em.. but what im sayin is that i just don't like the song that's all... and the video is really boring.. they shudve made it more artistic or creative...
Filipinas can't be generalized as brown...
whoa! whoa! whoa! wait a sec... i'm not against the song or whatever.. i'm just saying i feel its boring,. what's wrong with that? And.. I'm white in natural .. does it mean i'm not a filipina? pathetic...
i dont like it.... the vid is boring...
