@@inkdemon2I don't think the eye patch would work for me, because both of my eyes are lazy, one only stays concentrated and away from the side of my eye when I look out of it. I am physically incapable of looking out of both eyes for more than 10 seconds, by the 10 second mark I get massive headaches. When I was younger I did usually close the eye I wasn't looking out of. But I don't really do that anymore.
What is it called when you have 20/20 vision in both eyes however one eyelid is droopy giving the appearance of a lazy eye that doesn’t turn inward or outward?
Both of my eyes are lazy eyes, but when i look out of one eye it will never move to the side, but the eye I'm not looking out of looks off to the side. So of you know that about me, you can easily tell what eye I'm looking out of. I've just accepted it as a part if me. I don't know who I would be without my lazy eye. Incase you're wondering, I can really only physically see out of one eye at a time. My other eye I can still see out if, but it's vision is less detailed snd refined, than the eye I'm looking out of. I mostly favor looking out of my left eye.

I couldn't imagine myself without my lazy eye, I do get annoyed when people bring up my lazy eye, mostly because I just want them to think that I'm just normal. That despite my lazy eye I'm just the same as them. I have thought about getting Laser eye surgery to fix my lazy eye. But I've had it for so long, I'm scared that my body won't be able to adapt, and I'll lose my vision. Losing my vision is a big fear I have. And when I try to do exercises, my vision gets very blurry and I get a massive headache.
What if you have both? I have the first and have had it since childhood and now have double vision after two surgeries, last one was to fix the previous double vision.
I have amblyopia in my right eye nearly went blind, they used patches to try and correct it but I still can’t see very well even with glasses I struggle to read and see details out of that eye, it also doesn’t help that I’m severely myopic alongside astigmatism. My glasses prescription is constantly changing every 3 -6 months at this point in time and it’s starting to get expensive I live in the uk so my glasses are a little cheaper alongside getting medically issued vouchers for frames and thinning. I’m not sure what my prescriptions are now because I got new glasses again but my last ones were -10.5 for the left and -11 for the right, I think.
Just want to confirm, is it true? because people here says that if you have Lazy Eye you can treat it by using Eye-Patch on the healthy eye
Well, that’s what my parents wanted me to do with my lazy eye. If you put an eyepatch on the healthy eye and work the lazy eye it will become stronger

Sad part is there is no treatment for amblyopia in adult😢

the best way is to get surgery done to extend one of the muscles. Therefore surgery. I had it done and it greatly changed my lazy eye.
