    Good tips thank you!
Agree the short posts only allow 3 plates max once the bolts are in.
One tip if getting Monster Lite - ask for colored uprights for no charge

With an RM-3, you can also call and get the crossmembers and columns for a 6 post rack for just 14" more length than an RM-4.

What power racks do not require bolt down thru concrete flooring? I do not want to drill massive holes in my garage flooring.

I think you may have the socket pull up bar installed upside down and that may be why it is so uncomfortable. Try flipping it and see if its any better

Loved my RM4 but I just sold it for an RM3 fortis. I bolt my rack to an 8’ x 8’ platform and wanted more room to deadlift up front.

That echo bike is a killer for sure. Women like spin bikes way more. I like them too. Easy on the joints and a great way to get heart rate up. Your rack looks great, don't have any regrets about it. I got RML3 and RML Squat. Both are excellent.

You are criticising the Curl-PU-Bar. I agree, the way they show it on their homepage and the way you have it installed, it makes no sense, but if you'd turn it by 90° it would give you the usual grip-options (with the bonus of the knurling) except for the neutral grip.

Thanks for sharing! I just got my rm3 this past week and I finally finished putting the equipment where I wanted them. I also had to please my wife, she wanted a treadmill and I wanted an echo bike. I ended up with the treadmill to hope that she'll use it one day. I made countless changes during the wait time for picking my order, which took 2 weeks, but they have great customer service and made about 10 changes or so within that time lol.

Great points. I may disagree about the AB-3 being "worse" than the adjustable 2.0 however. The AB-3 is crazy expensive BUT its an awesome bench. I use the decline for situp and ab work. Like you said, just buying one to get it over with is good advice. This bench is so well made it will outlast me!

Curious question from someone in Pennsylvania, US: how is the shipping to Ireland from Rogue? For comparison, I just ordered a Rogue Ohio Power Bar, shipping cost is $25, and probably four days to delivery. Thanks for the excellent presentation!

    • @pascallandshoeft
      @pascallandshoeft  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Marty
      Thanks for asking.
I have a video titled “How does Rogue fitness ship” which answers your question.
Rogue has a central warehouse near the big container port in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where they also have a show room.
Whatever products sell well in the US will be earmarked for a container shipment to Rotterdam and stored in that warehouse for distribution in Europe.
That’s why the selection in the EU always lacks about a year or two behind the States and the less successful products won’t even be made available in the EU.
Hope that answers your question. It’s not like you order and then every piece is shipped from Columbus to my door in Ireland. That wouldn’t be economically feasible for Rogue as a seller or me as a European buyer. Carriers used in Europe are DHL for pallet deliveries and UPS for packages.
      All the best

Hi, do you have experience with other brands sold in Germany? ATX, Strong Gains, SQMIZE… strong gains and SQMIZE have German made series as well but I’m not sure if they also source their material from Germany.

    • @pascallandshoeft
      @pascallandshoeft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there
Unfortunately no as I didn’t really research them as deeply as Rogue and TITAN.
What I can say is that ATX comes up more often then the other brands you mention which would point to that
      - They do a better job at marketing
      - They have more satisfied customers
      - They have more bandwidth to pay attention to international
All signs of a well run business… but again just circumstantial evidence.

I can't justify the extra cost for an adjustable bench as I hate doing anything in an incline position (don't see the point) and so would never use it. In any case, thanks for the great tips.

I'm wondering, what are all the different types of movements/exercises you do inside the rack that convinced you the extra space wasn't necessary? I'm currently having to debate this myself before making a purchase. Not sure if I would end up using the outside more often than not.

      Hi there
      Thanks for the comment
      I do
      Squats
      Pull ups
      All bench work
      Inside the rack
      deadlifts
      Rows
      On my platform in front
Your bench would protrude a little in an rm3
If you want to deadlift in an RM3 you possibly have to store the plates on the top rather than bottom
Hope that helps and dig deeper if you want to

Hello Pascal, I got a question you maybe could help me with. Since about two weeks i am struggling about which rack from which brand I want to buy.
After I saw the rhino option and the lever arms for the rogue racks, I really want to have a rogue rack to maybe be able to buy these attachments one day.
Now here is my problem. I really like the products rogue is making, but every little thing they sell is so expensive (yes I know, they have the best quality).
I have enough money to buy a rogue rack and some attachments, but I'm really not able to buy everything I want to have on my rack from rogue. For example, I know a company which is selling perfectly good landmines for 80 x 80 mm racks for 30$ per piece. The rogue option is like 190$ without shipping for me in my country. And there are a lot more examples.
So, i really want to support rogue for their good products, but at the moment I have to look for other companies selling good attachments.
Do you know, if I can put other attachments to a rogue rack? Do you think the landmine for an 80 x 80 rack can fit on a rogue monster Rack? Or do you know some other companies products that fit on rogue racks? Maybe european companies, because I live in Germany.
And could you tell me, what the holes with the little notch on the sice of the rogue racks are for? Is this like a special hole that makes rogue racks only be useable with rogue attachments? Or does this notch doesn't limit the ability to use other attachments?
Sorry for my long questions, but you could really really help me out. It's hard for me to get some knowledge of these racks because not many people in germany use those.
    Thank you for your videos.
    Greetings

      Hallo,
      Hoffe das hilft
      Alles Beste

    • @pascallandshoeft
      @pascallandshoeft  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Pretty simple
The smaller the company the weaker their distribution system. Amazon and Rogue are very mature, REP is fairly new so they don’t have the distribution network reaching to Hawaii / Europe etc.

      Hi Eddie
      Thanks for the comment
While the free shipping offers can be more extensive at the vendors you mention it is not entirely true that Rogue doesn’t offer free shipping
My equipment shipped for free as I spent more than €5.000 on one order. There are also specific racks that ship for free and 3 ships free deals.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment you are correct that the free shipping terms can be more narrow at Rogue.

Rogue offers free shipping if you order a rack now I believe. But to put all those companies on the same quality list as rogue is a big no. It’s flat out ignorant and stupid to say Titan is the same quality as Rogue.
