These people are beautiful. It is important that their way of life is preserved and protected. This document conjures interesting thoughts for myself though. For the longest time I wanted to escape all of the horrible craziness that surrounds me everyday and live just like this (I almost have several times).. But the dynamics of existence within the physical universe change is constant and necessary. Without it there is no path to a greater understanding of existence. Eventually, the time will come though when the same will happen to any one of our other societies (or all at the same time) and we will be forced to face it and change as well. No matter what you do you will not be able to escape change, It's just the nature of life in the physical universe.
The world was beautiful and perfect. Before explorers invaded others territories, in the name of bringing and spreading civilians. They brought with them diseases that threatened local way of life. Let nature be. Let culture be. Civilization is a matter of personal perception
Sorry to disagree…humans have damaged the world and oppressed others throughout history. Ancient Rome caused the extinction of many species and wiped out tribal peoples. They were very intent of Romanazing those they conquered. I can cite other examples from around the world. The Fiunders of the US patterned much on the Romans and had certain,y studied their tactics in dealing with conquered peoples.
Warning: a few interesting paragraphs of text ahead. :) Unfortunately, exploration happens as a result of curiosity and is facilitated by advancements in transportation, which themselves come about as a result of other factors. All to often, anyone echoing anti-colonial or anti-exploration sentiments usually has the European in mind, without realizing that ancient European tribes also lived by hunting and gathering, all according to their immediate environment. Civilization in Europe was spread through Rome, but was preceded by ancient cultures of the Middle East. But as a person of Indo-European heritage, I still agree with you. Before the spread of Christianity, Europe had its own tribes that lived in primal, tribal ways, before having their traditions erased by fire and sword BY their own people, who were under the Christian spell. Of course, ancient Rome was not too fond of "primitive" Germanic tribes. Does this sentiment sound familiar now? We had a similar fate as the other tribes of the world. You can read about old cultures such as the Yamnaya (Pit Grave culture), the Corded Ware culture, the Scythians and dozens of others that spanned the Eurasian plateau and eventually spread into the European continent. Sadly enough, it was the post-pagan European that had the ability to navigate to far away lands and with them bring their own worldview together with a Semitic religion, which was once foreign to them. Today these people are whom one would call Whites, usually in not too friendly of a tone. I do believe, however, that if the European had not made inroads first, another group would eventually have set out to discover more lands for themselves, and in the process bring with them whatever culture and views they would possess at the time. But that would be another story and we would not be here, commenting on this video. Let us not forget that the Arab world had its own expansionist chapter in history, which brought Islam and other cultural elements wherever it went. So did the Mongols and Turkic peoples, with their own westward expansions towards European lands. It really comes down to who has the means to explore, because this is simply part of the bipedal way of life. Some tribes are peaceful and stationary, while others thrive off war and exploration. And at the end of the day, life is a constant clash of cultures. Right now, for instance, almost all peoples of the world are being affected by a superficial culture of consumerism, which also includes sports and cheap entertainment as "bread and circuses for the masses." The purveyors of this new fake culture, are faceless, nationless beings, who could eventually destroy every culture in their path. They are the bankers, the corporations, the media. It's a different kind of animal altogether.

The orlean tree or anatto tree (Bixa orellana), Surinamese-Dutch Koesoewe or Koeswe tree, is a shrub or tree in South America that owes its fame to the yellow to red dye (anatto) extracted from the fruit. The species is sometimes split into two or more species. This leads to the curious situation that this species is regarded by some as its own family and by others as merely one of the species in one of the genera in this family.[source?] The orlean tree is also grown outside its natural range (tropical South America), including in gardens. The orlean tree is a shrub up to 6 meters high or rarely a tree up to 10 meters high. The young twigs have red-brown hair. The leaves are alternately arranged, long-stalked, narrowly heart-shaped, pointed, light green and can grow up to 25 cm long. Three to five, often reddish, veins emerge from the base of the leaf blade. The pink or rarely white flowers grow in terminal panicles. They are five cm in diameter, have five sepals and five petals and many stamens. The fruits are up to 4 cm in size, red, egg-shaped and covered with soft bristles. The fruits are capsules that split open in a bivalve, revealing up to fifty seeds (see photo). Anatto, a bright red dye, is extracted from the fleshy seed coat. This colorant is used in lipstick, soap and, under code number E160[b], in foodstuffs such as cheese and margarine. In Central America and the northern Caribbean islands the powder is used to flavor food.Until the end of the nineteenth century, anatto was an important dye that was traded dried. The indigenous people use the dye in fabrics and for painting the body. Dogs are also rubbed with it because of its insect repellent properties. The leaves serve as medicine. The Natives from tropical America used the dye to paint the skin and dye their hair. Such a painted group of Indians attacked Francisco de Orellana in 1541 on his journey through South America. The plant was later named after him.
This film is a perfect example where the introduction of modern scientific elements can be done without destroying the culture. With this as an example, so can their pagan superstitions be removed and also not destroy their culture. Their superstition - unlike what anthropology teaches, does not have to be integral with the culture. Slice has a obsession with the promotion of pagan concepts, being almost always the first issue it promotes in their films.

In the Philippines we called that fruit as ASUETE..we often used it to enhanced color of the foods. This fruit often found near springs and rivers and it's actually one of my 300+ fruit collections.

This leads to the curious situation that this species is regarded by some as its own family and by others as merely one of the species in one of the genera in this family.[source?]
The orlean tree is also grown outside its natural range (tropical South America), including in gardens.
Their bushcraft skills are beyond belief.
