Fran never really gave Nilka the same kind of treatment, and Ramsay eliminated her with dignity and words of encouragement. While Nilka did last an episode longer than Fran, her attitude finally came back to haunt her with her absolutely BRUTAL mid-service elimination and meltdown for all of national television to see. Soibhan started the season so, so strong. I remember watching it on TV, my dad & I had her pegged as final 2 material... then out of nowhere she just started tail spinning out of control and never recovered. :( it's like she got depressed and just stopped fighting. Then on the HK subreddit someone made a post saying she was homeless. That was about 2 years ago. I hope she is doing fine now.
@deekat3279 Just because it's from Reddit doesn't mean it's automatically bullshit either. And given that culinary is a very low-paying job, rife with substance abuse, and many of the world's most successful chefs were homeless at one point, it's not exactly a longshot theory. No need to be a dick about it.
Last I heard about Siobhan is that she was became homeless after leaving the cooking industry to start a career in fashion. She also posted her knife kit from HK up for sale. I really hope she's doing okay.
Jean-Philippe tried so hard to show him that he was given an extraordinary opportunity and that he was wasting it and he still walked out. That’s insane to me

My assessment is that Gordon knows in the first week or two who is going to win. First its kicking out the shit chefs who are bad for tv, some shit chefs who good for tv, some not great chefs who are bad for tv, the rest of the shit chefs who are good for tv, then its the goods chefs + one wildcard.
He did an interview once (it’s on TH-cam, I forget the name) & he was asked about his assessment. He said it takes him about 60 seconds & he can tell who is going to go far & who isn’t.
Yeah, I can believe it. A chef with his experience can spot a skilled cook/chef very quickly. They probably pick a... diverse crowd on purpose. If it was a bunch of talented, focused and intelligent people it wouldn’t be as fun lol

Ramsay's comments: 🔴 Stacey: It's a good thing Stacey's a private chef. Her food wasn't good enough for the public. 🔵 None for Andrew 🔵 Mikey: Mikey was all about appearances. Unfortunately for him, it didn't appear he could cook. 🔴 Jamie: To be a great chef, you need creativity, leadership qualities, and passion. Jamie had passion. 🔴 Maria: Maria was in over her head. On garnish, she was lost and her team paid the cost. That's why her life in hell's kitchen is dead. 🔴 Scott: If Scott could cook as well as he talks, he'd be the winner of Hell's Kitchen . Unfortunately for him, he can't. 🔵 Salvatore: Salvatore had a Big heart. Too bad he couldn't cook with it. 🔴 Siobhan: Siobhan got pushed around a lot un Hell's Kitchen. So it was up to me to finally push her out. 🔴 Fran: Fran wanted her team to communicate, but it seems to only thing her team agreed on was wanting her gone. 🔴 Nilka: Tonight was the best service we've had in Hell's Kitchen, and that's why i rewarded the final six. Now, only the best chefs remaid. Nilka was cleary out of her depth. ⚫ Ed: Ed was one of the favorites because of his strong star. Unfortunately, in cooking, it's not how you star, it's how you finish. ⚫ Jason: Jason was good enough to make it to the final five, but he just didn't instill the confidence i needed to see to be my head chef. ⚫ None for Autumn and Benjamín ⚫ None for Jay ⚫ Holli: Holli won because she has grown as a chef more than any other chef in hell's kitchen. At least she got another chance and skeeted into 4th , I actually rooted for her at the end
Autumn put up a fight with everything she got props to her
Scott is the math teacher who wouldn’t round up a 89.9 to an A because he is “better” than all of his students
Her little son's "You're the winner!!" made me cry.😭
I feel like all of these people were crap compared to the older series, Gordon gave some people way too many chances.
Moua Xiong I feel ike some stay for drama and some stay over others because it’s just lack of talent (which can be taught) but common sense, passion and heart he can’t teach. So if they lack that over someone who just overcooked a wellington, 🤷🏻♂️
I mean if everyone is crap ur gonna have to give a lot of chances
"Cough" "cough" Scott and fran
Especially that one chick who got out mear the middle . She scraped by SO MANY TIMES , you've gotta respect the luck
Edit : I meant Fran , but I've gotta respect the fact that she fought back and got into the top half of the competition from being average
I mean if he threw out every bad person on the red team this season as quickly as possible then the red team would consist of like two people
Soibhan started the season so, so strong.
She got bullied so badly by Benjamin. She really should've stood up for herself against that conceited prick.
Legend says Scott still thinks he‘s the best Chef on the red team
And the blue.
The Nilka elimination is definitely one of the best eliminations in HK history
Totally.
It's like the opposite of Joy's quitting. Nilka wants to keep going while Joy just immediately gives up for one mistake.
On the bright side Jay is an adviser on bar rescue and a very successful chef. So at least the show had a positive effect.
I think chef Ramsey owed Fran money..how did she last so long 😂😂😂
Because she soldiers on even after she got burned she wanted to stay
Because she was better than everyone else eliminated before her
@@bobbynewman9321 She didn’t know the difference between crab and lobster…..
@@christianramirez9303 she obviously did she just didn’t know the difference between the legs
Salvatore was so humble
I had no idea Mikey got a Hell’s Kitchen tattoo until he revealed it in the video I couldn’t do anything else but sigh😂
He already showed it at Signature Dish episode
I simply love how Nilka had a shit eating grin at Fran's elimination but hers was the most satisfying and meme'd elimination out of them.
She smiled at Fran for nominating her instead of Scott. (Which is another reason Scott is terrible)
Scott has to be one of the the most narcissistic chef to ever exist💀
I felt like Nelka’s elimination was one of the saddest yet funniest in this season.
Homena29 she was a bitch
@@anarchistmaverick9507 yeah she really was an abolute bitch
She might have put it on her self she was all that then when it was time she thought she was all smart and grown and when time came she crumbled!!!
@@gavinproduction7433 Was she the chick from 27:43 ? If so , you and everyone else are obviously right
Random TH-cam Guy you're right!!!
The fact that Holli never had to stand on that carpet or ever got any bad comments from her teammates shows why she won.
And because of a passport incident she never got to have herself the job she won
@@dramaticScardidn’t she get the money though
@@clursunny she did keep the money
“I never make the same mistake twice”
*has already been up for elimination at least 4 times*
I think Andrew's elimination was the funniest tbh, he even said "have a nice day". What an absolute G
JP is so sweet I love how he encourages the contestants
That second chef who left the show... that was absolutely pathetic.
Solar Soul He did have a funny exit though
Dude had a huge ego. He can't take criticism too well
Right? Why say you don't care what Ramsay says when you literally went there to win one of his competitions
Yeah he looks like a discount Joseph (S6)
The way this video cuts from Ramsay giving out the black jackets to immediately asking who's up for elimination is hilarious
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I didn't know Mark Zuckerburg tried out for Hell's Kitchen
That's an insult to Mark Zuckerburg.
@@magicdreemurr3771 Mark wouldn't last a single round in there.
You refer to Benjamin right?
@@nachoalvarez7171 Scott
@@marioaguilar8394 WHAT? I thought it was Andrew 😆
Holli's son brings me to tears every time
Jean-Philippe tried so hard to show him that he was given an extraordinary opportunity and that he was wasting it and he still walked out. That’s insane to me
And even withdrew from his shoes too
Everyone: I'm the best chef here! I'm the hardest working person in the kitchen.
Gordon: I'm about to end their culinary careers.
@deekat3279 yes I have
Fran shouldn't of lasted as long as she needed to
Right
She was the Sabrina of this season
She fought back compared to the people who were eliminated instead of her
I actually liked Fran
Well
Service 1 Stacey was awful fran was just bad
Service 2 she was ok
Service 3 she burnt herself and Jamie was worse
Service 4 she was decent
Service 5 she was good
Service 6 was bad but no where near as bad as Scott
Service 7 she was bad should’ve gone home here personally
Salvatore went out like a boss
Someone in Hell's kitchen: *Says litteraly anything*
Music: *Explodes with dramatic sounds*
“I don’t care what chef Ramsay has to say.”
*applied to compete on a show to win a spot in his restaurant*
I like how Gordon Ramsay can sometimes be so unpredictable when it comes to eliminating someone
Same with who became his punching bag, one moment it was autumn next moment was Scott, and then Fran and then back to autumn
Literally the person who selects the nomines aint save
Nilka's elimination will always be funny
Romaro Brandon
Yeah
GR: Madam, ah madam! MADAM!
Nilka- Yes chef
GR: Take your jacket off and FUCK OFF!
@@Duval-In-The-Wall NO CHEF PLEASE
@ Jen's season 18 elimination wasn't QUITE as funny because Jen didn't throw things , come back , and punch an inflatable arm flailing tube man .
And Andrews elimination
Autumn has to be the most nominated for elimination in Hell's Kitchen history. Jesus Christ, nearly all of these are with her up there lmao
Her Elise Sabrina and Clemenza all tied for most all time. 7 times.
@@pottytheparrot310and Scott
Autumn is a real trooper so much respect to her hats off to her!!!!! 👏🏽💪🏽👏🏽
Why? She was dragged through it and should have been kicked earlier.
When Andrew took off his shoes.
Then why did Fran last so long?
She's certainly not "good for TV" lmao
Kicking out shit chefs who are bad for TV - Stacey
Kicking out shit chefs that are good for TV - Scott
Kicking out not great chefs who are bad for TV - Ed
I forgot how skinny Benjamin was in this season comparing him to the All Star Seasons. Nilka's and Andrew's elimination are the funniest elimination ever.
I love in the all-stars season when he walked in and everyone was like “who’s that?”
@@CharlieECheese And they thought he was Andrew from season 1

She's like Scott from Season 12 or Virginia from Season 2 or Clemenza from Season 10. They are not bad chefs but they got picked up by their teams for no reason. Except Virginia losing her confidence and even admitting she doesn't deserve to be in Black Jacket round
In this format, you can really see how each contestant’s confidence grows.
I'd patronize any restaurant Jason worked at. Good man, good spirit, cook chef with heart. I hope he does well for himself
He's on Bar Rescue with John Taffer a lot and he's a sous chef for Chef Ramsay!
Man Scott doesn't know when to shut up and just give simple answers to why he should stay, I'm glad Gordon Ramsay had eliminated him that past season because he was getting annoying and getting on Ramsay's nerves
When Gordon says: ”MADAM”
You know it's serious
Or: ALL OF YOU, COME HERE!!!!
Love Jay,he stayed humble even in losing.
Bruh gotta love the fact that Jean Philippe tried to help Andrew by saying that it was a test, but my man was so upset he just took off his shoes and left lmaoo 😂😂😂
Plot twist: Gordon wasn’t testing Andrew and Jean-Philippe misinterpreted the scene.
Looking back on this season I realize how much I actually liked Fran. She wasn't very good, I'll admit, but I'll be dammed if she wasn't a fighter.
Everyone fought for their place, the amount of times she was up for elimination, its hilarious she's wasn't done from the start, idk maybe she gave gordon a hard on lol.
I know lots of people that would love to be in your shoes
Andrew: man take my shoes 🤣
Lmfao
Man was done
I thought this was posted years ago but as I’m looking through the comments they are all from a couple minutes ago. Lmao I was so baffled 😭
Oml same here lmaoo
Ramsay's comments:
🔴 Stacey: It's a good thing Stacey's a private chef. Her food wasn't good enough for the public.
🔵 None for Andrew
🔵 Mikey: Mikey was all about appearances.
⚫ None for Autumn and Benjamín
⚫ None for Jay
⚫ Holli: Holli won because she has grown as a chef more than any other chef in hell's kitchen. At the star, She was barely noticeable. But them she got the confidence. She emerged, and there was no holding her back. I'm absolutely thrilled she be working with me at the Savoy Grill in London.
Andrew was like "I dont need this, im the next Hannibal Lecter"
