She then continued to complete an entire service with her foot in a cast because she didn’t want to let her team down and put herself through plenty of pain for that, to the point she needed a wheelchair to come to elimination. Which is a damn shame because she was good, far superior to Andrea and Ben who got black jackets

Also it's the producers that choose the winner, not Ramsay. The build up drama to make it seem like a hell of a lot bigger deal than it is, when it's in all actually mostly just fun and games. From what I've read, he came back down to earth pretty quickly when reality hit and he realized he wasn't gonna be redecorating a luxury restaurant by putting rubber fish on the walls or write any new menus 😅. I don't have half of these guys' ego and I'd still be pretty pissed.

I'd still kill to have that kind of experience and opportunity tho. Having a world renowned chef be your mentor (even for a show) still seems rewarding... though a handful of these people like raj were just chosen despite their incompetence and kept far too long for the drama which is the annoying part of the show, especially since some of them deserved to stay more than these airheads. Nevertheless, considering that anything after the show, whether they win or lose, it does open up new doors that further their career as respectable chefs quicker than the average person could ever hope to do.

Also it's the producers that choose the winner, not Ramsay. The build up drama to make it seem like a hell of a lot bigger deal than it is, when it's in all actually mostly just fun and games. From what I've read, he came back down to earth pretty quickly when reality hit and he realized he wasn't gonna be redecorating a luxury restaurant by putting rubber fish on the walls or write any new menus 😅. I don't have half of these guys' ego and I'd still be pretty pissed.
@@Gonken88 yeah many winners had the same experience especially when they found out it's not a sallary of a quarter of a million dollars, but a one-time prize. I'd still kill to have that kind of experience and opportunity tho. Having a world renowned chef be your mentor (even for a show) still seems rewarding... though a handful of these people like raj were just chosen despite their incompetence and kept far too long for the drama which is the annoying part of the show, especially since some of them deserved to stay more than these airheads. Nevertheless, considering that anything after the show, whether they win or lose, it does open up new doors that further their career as respectable chefs quicker than the average person could ever hope to do.
