The B7 is optimized for modern racing on high grip race tracks. On low grip you will need to drive extremely smooth but you still won't have any real traction on corner exit. I would go for an RB10 with a ball diff or the previous Gen car with all of Ray Munday's tricks..
So is it finally going to be gear diff for both platforms? I feel the ball diff is very 1982, takes a certain finesse and almost skill, if you would to set up properly, consistency needs to be rebuilt after every race or every two or three practices. I have run a gear diff with secret settings on 2wd at Hobby Action for years, and would love to be able to get the LTC gears on my car❤
I haven't rebuilt my ball diff since masters of dirt in October and have raced the car twice a week every week since then.... You are doing something wrong if it's only lasting you 3 track days between rebuilds... Edit: not saying I don't hate ball diffs. I do. They *are* a pain, and it's hard to build them as consistently as a gear diff, but to only get 2 - 3 days out of one is crazy town.

This series is incredible. I hate to see it come to an end. I'm sure there is much more to the AE history we need to know about.

I can’t wait to order one. I just need to decide if I want it for clay or carpet not sure how far I have to travel for tracks.

do all modern RC cars have mid cab bodies? I don’t like how they look. I prefer the body style of the B3, Losi XXX and B4.

It seems weird not seeing the upright Stealth transmission, but the new design makes total sense.
The RC10B6D released in June 2016 was the last buggy with an upright transmission in AE's mid motor platform.

carpet car has gear diff, anti-roll bars, longer front axles, stiffer springs and pistons with higher pack
@@will5879are they done with the +3 chassis on carpet? The 6.4 had a longer chassis that the 6.4D.
