i have zero experience with yokomo's but this one looks much nicer than the other re-release of theirs ive seen. The other one ive seen looks almost like a toy rc.
@@gigglehurtz3167 Mainly the difference is the body and wheel color. This buggy needs some upgrades to make it competitive. Recently Yokomo released the ‘91 Works version which has some improvements over this one.

Very nice build, and some good pointers too (still need to my kit, which is a Super Dogfighter). Thank you for the upload!
Thanks! Good luck with your Dogfighter.
@@HotTrackRC Thank you!
Great video, thank you and good luck with your channel 👍
You gotta go with the full carbon fiber kit. looking forward to seeing that.
When you’re right, you’re right.
There are some new 10mm springs available on eBay that should fit this and other vintage kits.
first time viewer, well done review and analysis, you got a new subscriber
Nice Video... 🤙
I think I have replaced almost everything on mine, except the gear diffs, the bulkheads, and the motor mount.
I’ve just taken delivery of my kit. UK. Where can I find the carbon fibre kit?
Check out the Amain Hobbies website. Search for Super Dog Fighter. They offer a full kit from Xtreme Racing.
Good Luck!
Brilliant thank you. Loved the vid btw 👍🏻
Swap out your shocks.
Yep, that’s definitely the next thing to do on this car. Thanks!
@@HotTrackRC my brother had one of the original ones back in the day and went with the RC-10 threaded shock body sets.
