I use the TerraClean tool and products to clean the entire system in about 1.5 hours. I do not have to remove the valve, I hook in at the temp sensor, remove the egr actuator, and replace it with a thumb screw plate so I can open and close the valve. The system cleans the intake, grid heater and the combustion chamber, egr, egr cooler, turbo, and dpf. Basically everything "tip to tailpipe" Excellent video however, the TerraClean system has been life changing.
I apologize, I try to list parts on some of the videos. I your case. It maybe best for you to call your local Dealer .And give them the last eight of your Vin#. I hope that was helpful. Thank you!
I'm afraid that I am not a public shop. I am someone that wants to share knowledge to the public. Thank you very much for your interest in me serving your Cummins.
@@dairleautoclassicrestorati6892 Okay thanks for your reply. I need to have rear wheel seals replaced on my f-650 thought it would make a great video for your channel.
What is that tube and sensor called? I’m not a mechanic but I don’t mind getting my hands dirty! I’ve cleaned the egr cooler, the valve, mixer housing etc… the air intake, even raise the little screens up to remove a-lot of carbon down in the manifold. I replaced back pressure sensor it was fried! I have new egr valve on the way but before I replace it, I need to clean that tube and replace the sensor on it. WHAT IS THAT TUBE CALLED, And the sensor on the tube??????
I have a 2017 International 4300 truck and I am getting the check engine light code SPN 3058 FMI 18. My mechanic says it needs a forced engine regen. I did this twice already and each time, the check engine light comes back on again after about 10 to 20 miles of driving. One thing to point out is that after the engine regen was done, the check engine light flashes about six times before going off. But like I said, it comes back on each time. My mechanic said the computer shows my DPF is on stage 2 which is a good sign because it's not on 3 or 4 stage. Please, i'm really confused now on what next to do.
From what you have said. It's possible that the EGR Cooler is causing the problem. By them being so expensive. I have cleaned a couple of them and regen the vehicle and luckly it fixed the problem. Take a look at my Video " How To Clean EGR Cooler on 6.7 Cummins " Thanks
@@dairleautoclassicrestorati6892 Thank you for a quick response to my concern. Does it mean I should not change the EGR valve but rather clean the EGR cooler? Thanks
It sounds like you may have loss of power. If so, you may need to clean your EGR ports and inspect your EGR Valve. I will be making a video on cleaning the EGR Valve .After you clean the ports. You may need to regen.
@@dairleautoclassicrestorati6892 No, the truck has no power loss. This is the description showing for error code 2692, "Aftertreatment 1 Diesel Particulate Filter System- Data Erratic, Intermittent, or Incorrect. The Aftertreatment particulate matter sensor has detected a problem with the diesel particulate filter system". The second error code 4449 shows this description, "Aftertreatment 1 Particulate Sensor Regeneration Status- Data Valid But Above Normal Operating range- Moderately Severe Level. The Afterttreatment particulate matter sensor has detected in-range high sensor values". Can you please help out to know what is needed to be done? Thank you

Look at my Video "2020 International Service DPF Part 2". It shows removing the EGR Manifold and servicing it.

That is a Temp Sensor . The Part number is 2872858. The Tube is called "Air Transfer Tube"
