At the end, he'll dismount the tank and toss it towards an opponent to explode. On rare occasions, he'll spawn in on a Camel, which only has the Vulcan Cannons, but a much more powerful final attack. -Lysithea: The pint-sized magic powerhouse from the Golden Deer, hiding a tragic past in her looks and power. Headlok locks itself on it's summoner's head, greatly weighing them down, but giving them great knockback resistance and auto-attacking enemies in it's vicinity, allowing you to attack along with it. -Pig: The ever iconic Pig from Minecraft. He doesn't do anything, just wander around the stage aimlessly. At most, he can act as a literal meat shield, dropping a healing Porkchop on death. If he falls to a fiery attack, it's a cooked porkchop and gives more health back. Personally I love the way Xerneas and Victini work, yes they just give you a mechanic that's already in the game and I would like them more if they gave a unique buff, but considering victini is a pokemon that gives victory and xerneas is one that gives life, I find the buffs they give perfectly fitting for their unique aspects as pokemon instead of just generically doing damage or an affect to the opponent.

"Making it into smash roster is one of the biggest honor a character can receive, the roster is filed with icons special to people all around the world" Ah yes, the plant from Mario that moves up and down is more special than *Waluigi*
With Palkia I one time saw players stand up and tilt their head upside down to keep playing. This is funny to do and the opponents probably won't do it, so you'll be at an advantage.
3:51 Not like it matters, but if any player other than the original summoner attacks Dr. Wright, he'll send out an undodgeable counterattack that's stronger than the initial one.
Fletchling is the best PokeBall Pokemon with our house rules. If you are damaged by the bird that's a stock loss, also any spectators are encouraged to yell "BIRD!!" for the duration.
just wanted to mention quickly that every pokemon is designed to use a specific move, so eevee couldn't really reference the other eeveelutions since it doesn't learn any of their moves. the most it could do would be extreme evoboost, but that would have just done the same thing as xerneas, so it makes sense that they went with swift.
Number 18 is by far one of the absolute most frustrating KO-able assists because I can't count how many times the sword beam (reference to one of the instakill moves in his boss fight in X5) just slaughters your health. The fire uppercut like thing is from X4 and is also a pain. The spin in the air can be many moves, mostly X5's Grizzly slash/Crescent Grizzly move and the triple slash is the normal way for attacking. Ironic how Wily capsule is Worse 🤣 mega man fans should know why it's so ironic.
Bewear is by far the scariest assist trophy. Whenever one of my brothers sends him out when we're playing, I almost always scream. That uppercut is crazy.
I do have one defense as far as the zone of effect assists like chespin are concerned, which is that preventing the opponent from going to a part of the stage can be very strong. (Which, I guess doesn't help much as far as fun is concerned.
Zero and Alucard really, and I mean, REALLY should've been playable characters. I know Alucard was planned, but it's sad he wasn't eventually promoted as a DLC fighter. Both are absolutely perfect picks for Smash characters, with huge movepools that fit in just right.
When I saw Yuri from fatal frame I was lowkey surprised. I hope to see Ryza throwing bombs in the future. Note: I also love that they added the sound affects of the ghosts when a picture is taken.
My favorite Assist Trophy is the Burrowing Snagret. I remember being charmed by his design and Brawl and even moreso in Smash 4. As for his attacks, the Burrowing Snagret is extremely effective at chasing down enemies and leading into quick KOs. Plus, he didn't have the issue of having backlash for not being playable. Other great assists are Rathalos, Knuckle Joe, Riki, and Tiki. As for Poké Ball Pokémon, I like Bewear the most. She actively hunts down fighters and delivers a mighty uppercut. Granted, Bewear can be easier to avoid on gigantic stages, but on Battlefield/Omega forms, she is brutal. Certainly my favorite Gen 7 Pokémon. I also dig Solgaleo, Lunala, Keldeo, Arceus, and Scizor. Good rankings.
How dare you forget the name of the absolutely iconic character that is Sukapon from Joy Mech Fight?!!! More seriously, you guys should play Joy Mech Fight if you can. It's an amazing traditional fighting game that is also very accessible for new players to that genre.
I don't like strong assist trophies very much because they make it feel super unfair. Unless your playing with more than 4 people, then it just feels super chaotic and fun
Maybe in the next rankings video you could use symbols next to the raking number to show what what your ranking. (In this example a symbol showing weather it was a pokemon or assist trophy for people like me who couldn't always tell what was what.) Kind of like what you did in the moon ranking video with the different types of moons.
I think even the developers intended for it to be Pong, they just didn't consider an assist trophy worthy of discussing rights with Atari over, and they knew everyone would call it Pong anyway So it's essentially serving the same purpose today as it did in 1977
you forgot to mention that the duration on how long mimikyu keeps an opponent trapped is dependent on how much damage they suffered before getting grabbed. also you got the kill percent wrong, its actually 90%, it used to be 100%.
Can you do Ranking EVERY Assist Trophies to Fighters by Number Ranking. Fans are very curious of what they look like in Number Rankings from unlikely to likely.
I think out of all the assist trophies, the one that I most want as a fighter is Isaac, I just prefer fighters that are on their own representing a game series (Like Falcon for F-Zero, Wario for Warioware, Olimar for Pikmin, etc) because it expands the game series list a lot more when two slots are two different series. Plus I think he would have a very unique skillset based on the Golden Sun series which would be interesting to see.
Good video but i think that you should have said that you think Assist Trophies that could have been characters hurts the Assist Trophy at the beginning of the video instead of at the end of it.
I hope they add a foxy assist trophy for when Freddy gets added in the next smash game

Why not both
@@Odyssey_Centrallike a walking Bomber
Fun fact: Waluigi stomping may be a reference to when he beat up Bowser using only his feet in Mario Party 3.
"Making it into smash roster is one of the biggest honor a character can receive, the roster is filed with icons special to people all around the world"
Ah yes, the plant from Mario that moves up and down is more special than *Waluigi*
Imaginar if one day Waluigi go in smash and just said “wahhhh suck it Sakuri!”
22:44 “I’m afraid we’re gonna have to use… MATH!!”
15:24 Ahhh come on that’s Sukapon from Joy Mecha Fight; debuting in one of the earliest fighting games of the Famicon!
SUKAPON DEEZ NUTS
Oh my god
Fun fact about Vincent - he actually does damage over time and makes opponents take more damage from attacks
With Palkia I one time saw players stand up and tilt their head upside down to keep playing. This is funny to do and the opponents probably won't do it, so you'll be at an advantage.
You're right about Victini, should just make you win instead
3:51 Not like it matters, but if any player other than the original summoner attacks Dr. Wright, he'll send out an undodgeable counterattack that's stronger than the initial one.
YESS!! I was waiting for this
“Number eighteen; zero” is an unintentionally hilarious statement.
You should rank each game style in Mario maker 2, taking everything in consideration like music, visuals, power ups and other differences
8:30 that made my day 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Number 18 is by far one of the absolute most frustrating KO-able assists because I can't count how many times the sword beam (reference to one of the instakill moves in his boss fight in X5) just slaughters your health.
Pokémon
The pink ones name with his flowing body parts is Sukapon
I wanna see a rank video on the victory sequence of the characters. My favorite is Lucas cause he picks at the ground and says “huh?”😂
I do have one defense as far as the zone of effect assists like chespin are concerned, which is that preventing the opponent from going to a part of the stage can be very strong. (Which, I guess doesn't help much as far as fun is concerned.
Depends on the character. Snake or ness using it against falcon or Mac might have fun
Zero and Alucard really, and I mean, REALLY should've been playable characters. I know Alucard was planned, but it's sad he wasn't eventually promoted as a DLC fighter. Both are absolutely perfect picks for Smash characters, with huge movepools that fit in just right.
That would have perfect man
Imagine Being an Assist Trophy
Imagine being cut because of not enough of time to add you and getting replaced by your boyfriend’s greatest rival.
@@Superemie401 what character are you referring to?
@@blocks4857 Krystal.
When I saw Yuri from fatal frame I was lowkey surprised. I hope to see Ryza throwing bombs in the future.
Note: I also love that they added the sound affects of the ghosts when a picture is taken.
The content is getting better and better
I would kill for shovel knight to be added to smash, he would fit in so well
The cooking guy is probably a reference to Kirby's final smash in brawl.
Another neat fact about pyukumuku is if you footstool off of it it'll automatically activate it's attack!
How dare you forget the name of the absolutely iconic character that is Sukapon from Joy Mech Fight?!!!
More seriously, you guys should play Joy Mech Fight if you can. It's an amazing traditional fighting game that is also very accessible for new players to that genre.
Sukapon deez nuts
Man I didn’t even notice these cute easter eggs until I watched the video, great job!
I’m dying from the twinkle tackle 😂
Fun fact: Chef Kawasaki's ability is a reference to Kirby's Final Smash from Brawl
8:29 wasn’t expecting that 😂
The Sukapon spirit burned his name into my memory. It might be the most annoying legendary spirit.
the only spirit on my old switch that i never beat :/
Sukapon deez nuts
39’s name is Sukapon. He’s from the Japan-only game Joy Mech Fight.

@@adamou20501 You’re really immature.
@@GoldenSandslash15 It's fitting, deserves a smirk. The mature would give this stuff a pass and not grimace in the face of it.
@GoldenSandslash15 its the literal reason why he "forgot" the name you knew what you were getting into
@@GoldenSandslash15 that's the joke, he didn't say the name because he wanted people to say sukapon knowing that we would reply deez nuts
How come there’s a thousand of these types of videos and yet yours is still the only I enjoy watching
I don't like strong assist trophies very much because they make it feel super unfair. Unless your playing with more than 4 people, then it just feels super chaotic and fun
Hey Odyssey could you play smash against fans and put them in a tier list ?
Maybe in the next rankings video you could use symbols next to the raking number to show what what your ranking. (In this example a symbol showing weather it was a pokemon or assist trophy for people like me who couldn't always tell what was what.) Kind of like what you did in the moon ranking video with the different types of moons.
ah you're right I totally should've done that for a mixed video like this, I'll keep that in mind next time!
Rest in peace Phosphora, she's one of my favorite assist trophies to get
19:50 I think the player takes damage because the last person who looked at what mimikyu actually looks like died from shock
I think even the developers intended for it to be Pong, they just didn't consider an assist trophy worthy of discussing rights with Atari over, and they knew everyone would call it Pong anyway
So it's essentially serving the same purpose today as it did in 1977
7:30 Erm, ackshually, it's called the Burrowing Snagret, not the Burrowing Snarget.
I love how mimiku uses it's Z move "let's cuddle forever"
I forgot the exact name but you get the Idea
Last place for Keldeo because he just doesn't GO AWAY bro's been here for 30 seconds
Didn't know you could kill the metroids by freezing them in smash or that Niki could draw a smash ball. Weird to just know now but cool.
I was just about to ask you to make this
26:24 OH MY GOD I FORGOT ABOUT THAT ONE. Oh now I miss it :(
you forgot to mention that the duration on how long mimikyu keeps an opponent trapped is dependent on how much damage they suffered before getting grabbed. also you got the kill percent wrong, its actually 90%, it used to be 100%.
Can you do Ranking EVERY Assist Trophies to Fighters by Number Ranking.
Fans are very curious of what they look like in Number Rankings from unlikely to likely.
Yknow, now that you mention it i am kind of passed that lakitu isn't in the game
Nerds be like:
"Ummm actually those are not bolts of lightning 18:12, that's PK Beam 🤓"
Good video but i think that you should have said that you think Assist Trophies that could have been characters hurts the Assist Trophy at the beginning of the video instead of at the end of it.
I didn’t really mention it since it didn’t effect any of the rankings. I moreso just said it to show why the moon is even more in first place
