When I was born, computer genes were not yet distributed to the youth. (I am 79) The easy paced, soft spoken style of Mr Bowlin is a Godsend. The knowledge gain is beyond belief! Thanks
Hi Rich: I've just bought a cell phone for my 87 year old father in law. He is a retired graphic artist (using the Mac computers) that still drives a car but, has never owned a smart phone. He is incredibly smart (remembers everything and great at reminding :) ) and only recently decided that he wanted an Apple smart phone for his safety (ease of making a phone call anywhere), ability to FaceTime with his grand children, access to the internet for information and desire to take pictures (and send and receive images). Although I consider myself to be tech capable (electrical engineer) and an iPhone user, your videos really have been helpful to guide and inform me; appreciate how you've captured the most important tips and tricks to get an elderly and first time user started. Thank you for your unique perspective and commitment to helping the elderly in our society. I'm considering getting an Apple Watch for my father in law next (to monitor heart rate and for the fall alert feature) but, think that it might be best to see how he adapts to his new iPhone XS (Max) first. Do you think that you might add a series on the Apple watch as well? Cheers, Paul
I plan to do just that. There are 3 more videos in the iPhone series and then I'll move on to different content. iPad and Apple Watch videos are on the horizon. Thanks so much for the kind words and for watching!
I love your videos! I am not a senior yet! 59 and holding but I have learned and much about my iPhone & iPad since watching your videos and I have been an Apple iPhone user for years!! Thank you for explaining everything so well!
Great series, Rich. I recently purchased an iPhone SE 3 (2022) 64GB smartphone and I just love it. Your series gives me the impetus I need to quickly adapt to the Apple ecosystem. THANK YOU!
