I love the fact that there will be a Morris Marina van on the shelf next to a Bugatti!

Wow. I am speechless and very impressed. It is really fun to watch how this wonderful model of a Morris is made. I've only ever been interested in big scales. This Chanel is my discovery of the year. I'm just surprised that they don't work with airbrush

Thank you very much. I love big scale also. I do use an airbrush for smaller projects but for these big ones I find rattle cans more convenient.

fantastic, can’t wait too see it finish, just wondered if you can please give me some info, i’ve got a project planned with large part going to have them pla/fdm printed on the site it says 200.0 layer height & 20% infill, will these be pretty smooth surface wise?, cheers

It depends on what you are printing. Flat surfaces can be printed pretty smooth, but once you get into curves you will start to see print lines. The 20% infill is not that relevant to the outside contours. That is more to do with internal strength. The layer height is important though. I printed this model with a 0.1mm layer height. Not sure what your company means when they say the layer height is 200. Do you know what units they are talking about?

on the site it just says “200.0 mu” under layer thickness then under other tab 20, 50 or 100% infill :)

@@jordanbellamy6993 Those are fairly standard settings. The 200 mu would be 0.2mm. You will get print lines as with any other 3D printed model.

Where is the finished FAB 1 model? It's been 5 months since the last video on FAB1, or has it gone the way of Thunderbird 4, we never got to see that finished model either? Very strange🤔 I know you won't reply to my comments, you never do, but I wanted to let you know it gets noticed, it's just unfair to your followers of your channel not to show your finished models after months of watching them being built. If you have binned them tell us why at least, not just say nothing at all about them?

The dreaded clear canopy and curved windscreen…I was wondering how they were going to be achieved…not easily done, so I suppose inspiration and much internet searching is needed……be patient kemosabe🙂

Fair point. I only put videos up when I have completed a certain stage. I also have a number of projects on the go at the same time so there can be gaps between updates on models. In the case of TB4 and FAB 1, it has been a long time but I got stuck on the glass canopies. They are very difficult to model. They haven’t been binned. I have just been figuring out a way to get them done. But there should be some news on them in the near future. As for comments, I have replied to all comments in the past as far as I know.
