Where are you moving from? ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Toronto! Detached homes are nearly half the price in Airdrie.
@@awais.khan1 Absolutely! Where in the province do you plan to move?
@@brad.walker.airdrie.realtor airdrie! Bought into a preconstruction in the southwinds community 😊
@@awais.khan1 awesome congrats!
@@brad.walker.airdrie.realtor thanks to your videos. Do you have an instagram handle? Would love to reach out.
I feel like the con about winter pretty much applies to every province except for Southern coastal bc
Yeah fair enough you’re not wrong!
Can you please update this video in 2024 ? It would be great
Great info Brad. Subscribed.
Thanks for subscribing! It REALLY helps the channel, thank you 👌🏼
I feel the downside of the winter is a matter of opinion... sort of. I'd say anything under minus 25 celcius is unambiguously awful even for a native Albertan. But, we dont have that for months, just weeks. For the rest of winter, it can be fun to have a real winter but without getting pelted with tons of snow like out east. For most of our winter it is sunny and enjoyable
Yup exactly! Few weeks of very cold, but still lots of sun!
Love your videos. Am moving from the UK to Alberta by August and would love to get a home in Airdrie ❤
Wow that’s a big move! Send me an email and let’s make a plan to find you a home this summer! I’d love to help 😁
Thinking of moving from Ontario with family. Red Deer most likely or Edmonton. We dont have any debt but still feeling not saving enough. Too scared to spend on extra curriculum activities. Unnecessarily too expensive the basic necessities,
A lot of people from Ontario have been feeling the same way! Send me an email and we can chat further about your move.
I’d like to help you determine the best place for you and your family!

Living in Canada outside of Vancouver, Montreal or Quebec is for most people like reading a phone book while sipping a glass of water.
"Thanks for your comment! It's funny you mention reading a phone book with a glass of water, as that's exactly how some might see it before understanding what Alberta has to offer. Plus, our glasses of water come with the option of being turned into snow for skiing or ice for skating. Have a great day!
Moved to Nova scotia from ontario in 2022....... hate it here in NS but have always loved alberta. We will be making the move within the next year for sure! Looking at ponoka or Camrose more central alberta.
Nice both of those are great areas! Reach out and we can start making a plan. I have great agents in those areas that can help with your move!
Do you deal with the Lethbridge area?
I don’t personally, but I have a great agent down in Lethbridge that I’d be happy to recommend you to! Send me an email or text if you’d like to chat 👌🏼
About to make Edmonton my new home for me, knify and 2 daughters ❤❤, love your review and presentation Wow ❤, better than so many professional news channels 😂😂😅😅, hope my family can find decent housing near MacEwan University 🙏 ❤😊🙏, all the best 💐💐😊👍🏻
Awesome good luck with the move! Do you have a realtor up in Edmonton?

Considering a move to Alberta?
I'm from France and I want to move in alberta to study cinema. I'm very worried about the affordability cuz it Seems very expensive. But it's also so beautiful 😊
There are some areas that are cheaper than others! But it has gotten more expensive over the past few years for sure.
Only Calgary is expensive...for now lol
Con #4. I guess that’s why the Cactus Club girl left.
Hia mate im 43 and in the plumbing game in the UK but fi ding it hard to get in to calgary
Hey Steven! Finding it hard to get into Calgary in terms of getting a job in the plumbing field?
Hi Brad - my family and I are trying to move to Alberta but stuggling to know where to start. Husband is Navy and I work for the Police (not an officer) currently. He wants to leave the Navy. What our options, what are the first steps. Any advice would be greatly 😊
Hey Kelly! Send me an email and we can chat about it. There’s LOTS of factors that go into a move across provinces and I’d be happy to help.

Im also thinking of moving to Alberta. Not sure exactly where though. I have 3 kids and a wife . Maybe somewhere outside Calgary is a bit cheaper? What places you recommend? What do you think about Lethbridge?
Outside of Calgary is definitely a bit cheaper. Lethbridge and red deer are both cheaper, Edmonton as well. But those areas have a higher crime rate as well.
Of course I’m a bit bias, but Airdrie great for families, it’s a bit cheaper than Calgary, and it’s very safe compared to those other small cities.
I have a Airdrie vs Red Deer vs Lethbridge video coming out in just a few days!
@@brad.walker.airdrie.realtor what about Cochrane? I find Airdrie and Cochrane homes to buy expensive, starting like at 550k . Red deer I find like 300-400k .
@@donleo8037 Cochrane is a nice town as well. Definitely red deer and Lethbridge are cheaper places to buy a home!
If you end up deciding on one of those areas please let me know and I can connect you with a great agent in those cities!
@@brad.walker.airdrie.realtor Sorry last question. What do you think about Medicine Hat, Alberta. ?
@@donleo8037 Medicine Hat is also a good option. Much better crime rate than Red Deer and Lethbridge. If you’re okay with being further away from a big city than it can be a good option! I have an excellent agent in Medicine Hat if you want 👌🏼
I am moving from Ontario to Alberta, how's the IT support Job market there ?
Thanks for commenting! Our job market is quite strong out here right now. As for IT support jobs specifically I’m not exactly sure.
I’d love to help in your move through, and get you connected with the right people in the city/town you’re moving to make it a smooth transition.
Send me an email and we can chat further!

Hi, I'm planning on immigrating to Canada from India, Alberta being my choice of province. How do you think the job market is?
With the job market numbers that just came out, we’re looking very healthy for job availability here in Alberta!
When do you plan to make the move?
@@brad.walker.airdrie.realtor thank you so much for replying. I plan on moving in the next 3 months. I'm still looking at how to get immigration. You think express entry or through work permit?
@@ManvinderSinghWalia I don’t know the in’s and outs of immigration well enough to advise which avenue may be quicker, but I hope it moves along quickly for you!
@@brad.walker.airdrie.realtor thank you for the wishes
@@ManvinderSinghWalia please learn Canadian culture if you are planning on living here. There is too many foreigners trying to change Canada and not following Canadian culture. It’s a sad reality
