I just cry when he notices when his song is sung by people at the concert, and he sings after, changing the notes, thereby letting people know that he noticed it and appreciated it. At least that's what I think. I have seen in several interviews that Freddie said that he would like to sing in front of as large an audience as possible, and also believed that music is an international language. P.S. I hate racism and homophobia, although I myself am heterosexual and live in Russia (by the way, in the USSR there was no racism - remember). Freddie for me is not only an icon of music, but also a brave man. He did what he loved until the very end, and fought the disease until the very end, and did not make a show of his passing. In the documentary they said that because he had HIV, his weakened immune system coupled with singing he kept getting a throat infection. It’s sad he was so talented and even though his voice was not 100% at this concert, he was still better than most, I would have loved to see him perform live in person.

I was born the same year and I was seven years old when the Live Aid was televised and there’s only Galileo and Mama Mia that I kept singing during that time , I was sent outside the classroom coz I kept singing Mama Mia Mama mia
and still to this day its still as relevant today as it was back then.
I was 15 at Live-Aid, un-concieved in my father's scrote at the time of the release of this album, 1970, I entered this realm. the truth was he wasnt diagnosed with aids until 1987- he may have had the virus but he did not know it yet-
they manipulated the story so the lead up to LIVE AID was that much more spectacular-

dnice that is true, but in this concert, he was having throat issues, he had ongoing issues with his throat and voice for a while, that was one of his first symptoms, and according to one of the documentaries I watched, was the reason for him visiting the Dr often and getting the test done. In the documentary they said that because he had HIV, his weakened immune system coupled with singing he kept getting a throat infection. It’s sad he was so talented and even though his voice was not 100% at this concert, he was still better than most, I would have loved to see him perform live in person.
