Just lost my wife, partner in crime best friend and soulmate of 33 yrs. we were together since we were 18. I can barely breathe. I wish it had been me. Writing the story of us, good and bad, the work and the joy it brought to really live and love and be loved. Borrowed the lyric from this song in the dedication. There was nobody like Freddy. A superhero voice in a human body. This was one of Kats favorites. I miss ya k. Love C.

Brian is an indispensable asset, in a group of irreplaceable members, to Queen. He's the proverbial triple threat: a fantastic guitarist, lyricist and vocalist.
Saw Brian May perform this last night. He said "I remember when Freddie used to stand next to me and sing this", and then began to play... brought the entire audience to tears. It was so beautiful.
I am so jealous of those who got to see him in concert. He died about 6 months after I was born and when I hear Queen's songs and Freddie's vocals I just wonder what it would be like to see him in concert. If he was alive today do you think he'd still be singing at 71?
After watching the movie bohemian rhapsody , I Can’t take my eyes off queen’s videos here in youtube. Their music, their documentary , their photos, their everything’s are iconic, unique , beautiful. Now I can’t live without QUEEN. Queen steal my life.
We still love you Freddie...Love can never die, even though you've gone that light still shines. Never to be dimmed. Yours is the love that transcends all time
The funny thing is, if you pay attention to the lyrics, it makes more sense that these words came from Mary Austin, because the fact is, Freddie leaves Mary. This theory came from Peter Freestone, he was Freddie's personal assistant for 12 years and one of the few people that freddie can trust and know each other very well, very interesting theory, blow my mind. that solo in Bohemian Rhapsody.... BREATHTAKINGG!!!!!! i just put the solo in repeat and listen over and over and over hoping i can play like him one day
Look up Brendon Urie cover Queen songs. Heck, just look up Brendon Urie in general and listen to some of his covers. I'm not saying hes Freddie Mercury, however, Talent exists like this in 2020. No one will ever replace Freddie. But let's not turn a blind eye to the talent that's right in front of us as well :).
I never really understood how great Freddie Mercury was, after watching the movie and videos on here, I now fully understand. What a true talent and legend. Thank you for Freddie Mercury.
No matter how many times I hear this...see this performance...I get goosebumps and tears at the same time. Such an incredible talent, so ahead of his time...😞 Gone too soon
You are so right- it brings me close to tears too. This song reminds me of so much and my heart cries in sentimental thoughts. He truly was a blessing and untouchable as an artist. The world really misses Freddie Mercury- I really wished I’d seen him live
Here I am again and it's the same as the first time. I can't hold myself together but I don't need to in this moment. This performance will breathe life into me after my last has gone. The performance in Rio is incredible as well obviously. I just hadn't heard it recently. I remember this performance though.
Someone out there will probably think I'm crazy, but when my precious dog child was diagnosed with liver cancer, I told her she was the love of my life. She fought the battle, but on sunday evening 26/11, she passed away and those words are in my mind as I love her and always say she was the 'love of my life'. She's left a huge emptiness and chasm between me and this crazy world. I never thought one can love a little princess so much, so if anyone passes negative comments - I will try to understand ❤
So emotional Songs from Freddie Mercury, He said “Oh still love you” for All The Fans in the World, and now we feel you here, in our heart Freddie. oh Love of My Life... :’)
My mother. I have her to thank for my amazing taste in music. This is her favourite band of all time. We didn't have much growing up and shes never left the county. Ive worked hard this year and can finally treat her to her dream holiday away in Montreux, where Freddie recorded his last songs.. I still love you ❤❤
0%=Auto tune ,0%=backing dancers, 15%=variety costumes, 100%=pure talent,100%=perfect vocals, 100%=self confidence ,100%=entertainment , admit or not he is the greatest vocalist of all time.
i saw Queen + Adam live 2 years ago and this song, especially Brian's guitar solo was the most incredible, brightest experience for me. somehow this moment touched my soul very deeply and i hope everyone else's too
In 1991 I didn't know much about Freddie. I knew he made good music and I knew a lot of Queen songs, but he never stood out to me. On the day his death became public I visited my girlfriend. Entering the living room I saw her parents. Both were crying her eyes out, they couldn't hardly speak. On TV his death had been anounced a few minutes ago. I immediately knew Freddie was no ordinary rockstar. R.I.P.
I was so lucky to be there! My friend and I were right up front. I met the band after the show, and they were absolutely lovely. Freddie kissed my hand and said, “You’re beautiful, Luv.”
It's mind boggles me how Queen was one of the few bands that actually performed their songs better live than the actual studio albums! And those recordings were simply sublime so hearing Queen live was liking being brought to the gates of heaven
just like most movies nowadays. Its depressing watching them at home or on a computer. you feel like a slob sitting on ur couch not leaving home but also its sht its like theyre made specifically for movie theaters and imax
I was fortunate to meet them, and Freddie when I met him what did he talk about? His garden, and how much he loved azaleas... He was truly the nicest, a real gem!
Hi Elysee, you forgot to mention how much Freddie loved his cats, who were like his children. Like Freddie, I love my cats, Surrey and Montague. Both are so affectionate, smart and spoiled rotten! RIP Freddie, the music of Queen will live forever! Many thanks to Brian May and Roger Taylor.
This is why I get jealous of the older generation. Imagine being in a concert where most of the crowd instead of shoving and looking for the perfect shot to post on social media are just there eyes closed, hearts open and just letting good music touch their souls...
I've been a guitarist for 20 years. The guitaring in this is so difficult, even just on a 6 string. Brian May pulled this off flawlessly in front of hundreds of thousands on a 12 string acoustic. Amazing.
I’ve been playing for about 4 years. This on a six string is not too difficult in my opinion. But it is for sure harder than it looks. 12 strings is tough though.
No doubt he was named the best guitarist and is still considered as one of the bests of all time. Great is not even a suitable adjective to describe the majestic talent that Queen was.
My son Jimmy James left this life at when he was just 23 and it broke my heart. He was a beautiful soul and once said “you should live your life in such a way that if someone said something bad about you no-one would believe it”. I’m still broken but still trying to do good as he used to do. Listening to Freddie sing this always makes me cry and brings me closer to my son. Music like this heals the soul. One day I’ll see you again James and look forward to reminding you “I still love you” ❤
@PlymouthTagb * What a wonderful world this would be, if more people lived their lives in the manner suggested by your son. May God bless you, and give you peace and rest.
Just one of Freddie's talents... how he could connect with an audience and have that audience sing in harmony back to him. I had never seen or heard that before and know I never will again
I'm amazed at how quiet and listening the crowd was during the slow, serious parts of the performance, and then responded to him when he asked for it. Incomparable!
@@lovingtheoldtunes Bro it was a joke, Martel is a famous imitator of Mercury whom I absolutely dislike for his pretentious manners and lack of artistic abilities. He has a good voice, but he is CERTAINLY not on Mercury's level
It doesn’t matter if you were a fan before the movie Bohemian Rhapsody or after. What matters is that you are here now to share the gem that is and was Queen
In the movie, he was shocked when fans were singing his song like he did not expect it. But here in the original, freddie seems to lead them to sing along.
I completely agree with you Debbie. Freddie was born to be the most talented and blessed man that he was. There Will Never be another Freddie Mercury. A few singers try, but there is not any comparison. But I feel Rami Malek, that portrayed Freddie in Bohemian Rhapsody, did a fantastic job, and in my heart, I know Freddie's Spirit was with him. Rami certainly deserved the awards that he received, and he didn't try to replace Freddie. Rami did it in Honor and Tribute for Freddie. 💞Blessings to You and Your Family Debbie 💞💞 From Illinois USA 💓🇺🇸 October 10, 2022
How can I miss someone I have never met? I don't know, but one thing is for sure. Every time I listen to Queen's songs I get so emotional. I'm in love with Freddie's voice and I'm in love with Queen. I wish I met them, I'm so jealous of the previous generation that could listen them live! I can't stop to listen to this song, it is definitely my favourite one, it is a masterpiece. ❤️
I'm Straight, but have been in love with Freddy for years. I would give anything to buy him a beer and talk about music, as I'm a guitar player. But I take comfort in the gifts he left us, along with his attitude of not half assing anything. That dude always went balls to the wall. RIP Fred
We live through Freddy's music. It's want he wanted. Even during his last days he would tell the band not to feel sorry for him, and would have vodka and record things for Innuendo. That dude ruled. And he is still among us by listening to his treasures
Porque tem bom gosto musical.. Naqueles anos, 70, 80 e 90, as músicas eram feitas, cantadas e tocadas,.. Com alma e coração! Não encontro outra explicação que não seja essa! Há músicas boas actualmente, mas não há comparação possível com os; "monstros da música" dessas décadas que referi, para mim a década de 80 é a melhor de sempre ❤️✌️
Because talent is talent and we were the BEST generation for talent: Queen, Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Lynryd Skynyrd, Cream, Who, Credence, Motown, we just oozed greatness...
I'm a 75 yr old woman and I always working and never had much time in the 70s for myself to enjoy the music I had a husband and 2 daughters to take care of and a lot of medical bills so I knew of "Queen" just didn't have time to know all the particulars ...but watching all the TH-cam stories and performances I realize how much I really missed out enjoying these talented men especially Freddie...I'm addicted now to watching and listening to their music and the videos...bought my two grown daughters now in their 50s "Bohemian Rhapsody" DVD 's for Easter 2021...I'm really touched by Freddies story and all the music 💕
I hope you enjoy their music as much as everyone else has, they were a rare and talented group that really helped join a lot of people from different backgrounds through their music. I didn’t really know much of them until the late 80’s and I feel like I missed out on a an opportunity to see them at some point, however it’s nice to rediscover groups like them because they prove just how timeless their music is and how important it is especially in times like this.

Naira Movsisyan The guitar sounds good but the guitar is just a sound it’s nothing like the his voice everyone is listening to him not just a sound
The only person that can hold thousands of people in the palm of his hand. What a voice.
Its weird missing someone who we have never met.
You deserve more likes

Sooo totally with you..melts my heart n soul..Always..I'm more rock chic..but This always gets me!!?
Love of my life...where are you my dear daughter ..when you show me again ...?Ilove you ..
Here I am again and it's the same as the first time. I can't hold myself together but I don't need to in this moment. This performance will breathe life into me after my last has gone.
The performance in Rio is incredible as well obviously. I just hadn't heard it recently. I remember this performance though.
😢❤️
" i always knew I was a star. And now, the rest of the world seems to agree with me"
- Freddie Mercury
Someone out there will probably think I'm crazy, but when my precious dog child was diagnosed with liver cancer, I told her she was the love of my life. She fought the battle, but on sunday evening 26/11, she passed away and those words are in my mind as I love her and always say she was the 'love of my life'. She's left a huge emptiness and chasm between me and this crazy world. I never thought one can love a little princess so much, so if anyone passes negative comments - I will try to understand ❤
I can understand you. I had same four years ago... It's huge pain. But time heals. Be patient and strong!

Brian May’s guitar work is phenomenal. I’m surprised no one is commenting about it.
Jason Sharma what can we say about Brian he is amazing
Unfortunately Brian often had to take a backseat to Freddie, and Poor John, forget it!!!!
Jason Sharma
He’s one of the best !!!!
i saw Queen + Adam live 2 years ago and this song, especially Brian's guitar solo was the most incredible, brightest experience for me. somehow this moment touched my soul very deeply and i hope everyone else's too
I thought the same thing.
The way he made the whole crowd sing is just beautiful.
I was so lucky to be there! My friend and I were right up front. I met the band after the show, and they were absolutely lovely. Freddie kissed my hand and said, “You’re beautiful, Luv.”
Its gud to be sing all at once ...but the reason behind is dat ...a guy luv a women n sold all his life to a man ...thats not luv of my life🍌🍌🍌

@Lorelei Goldman u lucky dog
It's mind boggles me how Queen was one of the few bands that actually performed their songs better live than the actual studio albums! And those recordings were simply sublime so hearing Queen live was liking being brought to the gates of heaven
+Salb814 I was with you until you went to heaven. That was a lil much.
+Nate Riggins cheers...
I still love the studio version more, but this version is awesome.
Salb814 My entire Queen library are live recordings except It's A Kind of Magic.
just like most movies nowadays.
You are so lucky 😀I’m 13 and am really hoping bri and Roger come to the USA to preform.🙂
Your so lucky to have met a legend!!

OOooHHh for sûre 🌺🌸💮
This is why I get jealous of the older generation. Imagine being in a concert where most of the crowd instead of shoving and looking for the perfect shot to post on social media are just there eyes closed, hearts open and just letting good music touch their souls...

I've been a guitarist for 20 years. The guitaring in this is so difficult, even just on a 6 string. Brian May pulled this off flawlessly in front of hundreds of thousands on a 12 string acoustic. Amazing.
This guy might give you a lil bit change your opinion. Please find channel: Alip Ba Ta - Love of my life
I’ve been playing for about 4 years. This on a six string is not too difficult in my opinion. But it is for sure harder than it looks. 12 strings is tough though.
@Jay House Actually his guitar is rigged only with 6 strings : 2 double and 2 single !
No doubt he was named the best guitarist and is still considered as one of the bests of all time. Great is not even a suitable adjective to describe the majestic talent that Queen was.

Freddies voice sounded like he was in a recording studio with effects ...THAT IS TALENT ,Greatness

Freddie Mercury was good in the studio and on the live stage, Freddie was probably better live then in the studio
Not entirely. He had a bad case of nodes. He sang this song three steps down from the original key and abstained from the falsettos
Allan Baguinon and?
Allan Baguinon and it’s nodules, not nodes.

This was /is probably the most beautiful song sung in perfect harmony between amazing singer and the audience. I'll never tire of hearing this.
Just one of Freddie's talents... how he could connect with an audience and have that audience sing in harmony back to him. I had never seen or heard that before and know I never will again
