Usually you just hear his drums (all the highs are his) - Most exposure is always on Freddie and Brian. Deacon usually takes a step back into the shadows. Tailor is almost a rock keeping it all together.

From around 3:53, Brian is making what sound like tentative strums to check something? Then from around 4:10 he's vamping, and Freddie takes it as a cue to continue properly.

I just can't wrap my head around how well this band performed, no bullshit, no live autotune, just true musicians really creating a piece of art together all at once while on the spotlight, on top of a stage performing for thousands of people in front of them! Just the way they can really focus their minds together in such musical syntony to create something so beautiful, so special and so rare that even artists 40 years later could never dream of performing, even with all the advancements in technology that should allow them to.

that is because these band members were highly intelligent and incredibly good musicians when they were in their late teens unlike most of the crap that is produced today by the likes of Covell and others . Nothing IMHO will ever be better than Queen Live or Studio there is no better music ever made. The only persons who ever came close to Freddie Mercury was George Michael and Paul Rodgers of Free fame.

You will not find many bands that delivered like Queen. From my mind i see esp. ACDC, they are the best life performer of all time. But otherwise? Lynyrd Skynyrd with Ronnie and the original crew. But then i doubt you find some other band with this energy.
