I am a vegetarian, so my “meatballs” were made from lentils, onion, and bulgur, but I fried them the same way you did and they were very good. Thanks, the soup turned out just fantastic. I did a small variation, added but of ginger along with the onions while pounding the meat for kofta plus topped the soup with little hot olive oil. Anyways, the soup was appreciated by one and all.

Again, this dish is found in lebanon too and is called Lebeniye (made-of-laban [yoghurt]). I am loving the connections between both these countries.
