- I know what you’re thinking, two heads of garlic, are you crazy! You can relax as the slow cooking of the garlic will dissipate the pungent flavor and leave a pleasing smooth note. This soup really has to be served with croutons or a slice of bruschetta, plus some coarsely chopped parsley for that freshness. A simple soup with amazing flavor and fantastic if you have a cold!

Is cream a necessary part in this dish? Or is there any substitute? Or can I do without using cream?
@@Shining_pearl19 I'm sure you can. Why not? The thing about a lot of recipes is try them, adapt them and if they don't work out, try again (assuming the ingredients are cheap) and to not worry about doing things differently. This chef would be hsppy youre using his recipe for inspiration!

Can I do it without using cream?
You could probably use a cream substitute, like coconut or any other thick nut milk. It will change the flavor some of course but it could probably work

Yesterday I made the soup it came out beautifully a light green colour from the leeks, it was delicious 😋 I was hoping to save some for lunch today but we ate all of it yesterday.
