I feel as though "A touch of euphoria flows through you" *really* means "those fuses were lightly coated with a hallucinogenic substance, so buckle up it's gonna be a ride."
I love this so much that I’m considering buying one and trying on my own. That means I might need to catch up with these videos after Christmas. Hard decision!!
Oooh, good idea - the calendars are fantastic fun so I thoroughly recommend that! Another option is to buy one of the previous year's calendars, since I think two of them are still in print this year - and then even if you've already watched those videos you probably won't remember the solutions (I find that I don't, anyway!). Either way, thanks for watching and commenting!
This was a particularly happy puzzle for me, as I just got around to seeing the newest Ghostbusters film last week. The firehouse was very much a focal point of the story and it was great seeing the set reconstructed with such loving care. 😊
I have to catch up on five days' worth of riddles as I'm traveling a bit. Usually, it's not a problem but a treat having more puzzles when I'm back home. Have fun with the calendar. 😊
Really enjoyed today, so glad i brought this calender.Never brought one before but i did watch your previous years calenders.Loving the content. Will we get an appearance from laura this year?
I'm so glad I inspired you to buy it - and I don't think you'll regret it! And Laura will probably join me for day 10 (or maybe 11) onwards in the other calendar I'm solving this year, Escape the Snowglobe, but probably not for this Exit calendar.
I felt so dumb with this puzzle. It entirely slipped past me. But once I used the first hint it was very obvious and I got it pretty quick. Fun puzzle and great artwork
If it makes you feel better, I felt dumb on this too! There are three people after all, so it 'should' be obvious - but it's easy to miss that 'obvious' when there are plenty of other elements to distract you! :)
When i was young, I got confused between the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and the Michelin Man- never understood why a ghost was selling tires! 🤦🏼♂️ Never watched it in geography though - seems a very tentative link 😂 We got Madagascar, but only at Christmas- three years in a row, just the first hour...🙄
Did you ever get to see the final hour?! Yes, we watched the bit of Ghostbusters where there are ghosts appearing all over New York City, and it includes a bit with a taxi driver where he turns his head to reveal the other half of his face is... unpleasant. It's been seared into my brain since I was a child. Whether I would find it as terrifying as an adult, or it's actually as horrible as I remember, I've never risked trying to find out. Probably it's the only scary thing in the entire movie, for all I know.
If you told me this calendar had a Ghostbusters thing before I watched this video, I would not have believed you. It's kind of hilarious for how random it is.
Kind of disappointing today, the bold parts in the story completely gave this away... especially compared to yesterday's multi-part solution! The only thing that was kind of misleading for a moment was the fact that we see 3 of the card items inside the room, but not the 4th - but the mouths are so different that it was only for a moment. Short moment, because I remembered what you said previously, if you haven't used something yet, you have the wrong solution! Hoping for more fun (and getting excited for) tomorrow! (Have to live vicariously through your videos, shipping craziness means I could not get a calendar on time!)
Ah, well done - sounds like you solved this quickly! I was too distracted by the images I'd found on the backs of the booklets the previous day, and spent too much time considering how they might be involved. Sorry you didn't receive your calendar on time though - I hope you manage to get one eventually!

Ha, a vivid hallucination would explain a lot of the strange happenings in these calendars! :)

Ah how fun! I still haven't dared to watch the movie since I was a kid, but perhaps I could cope with it now... :)
That's something fun to look forward to then! :) Safe travels!

@@drgarethI think I've seen the film in full just the once, and in half about 4 or 5 times!

100% agreed! I'm enjoying it though - and, without spoiling anything, I guarantee that isn't the only film reference! :)
