On this trip we Overland, Off-road & even rock crawl our way through Utah to check out @MattsOffRoadRecovery Off-Road Games & test out a new set of Falken AT4Ws in Moab.
This was an incredible Overland trip that even had us at one point testing our 4x4 Recovery knowledge.

Love the beginning, that’s reality for most, wanting to leave at 7am and getting out by 12 noon
I think that is life for most of us... never time to pack until you were already supposed to be gone.
Me and my life took a road/overlanding trip from Massachusetts to Colorado and utah and did a lot of famous trails and went to moab and zion and saw matts off-road recovery and it was an awesome trip. Super glad we did it
Really good stuff man. I like how you are mixing the trip with educational content. Everyone can learn from watching this.
Awesome video. This is one of the reasons I subscribed to your channel in the first place. I am but a humble student trying to learn from a master. Now I just need to get out there and have fun solving my own puzzles!
Score on the Angels Landing passes! We tried the advance lotteries and the day before lotteries and none of our group got it. Still had a blast, the geology of southern UT does not disappoint!
It was not lost on us how lucky we were to get those... so crazy.
As an ex strongman competitor, the opportunity to move big rocks by hand is more of a bonus than a hindrance lol. I have mainly been watching your videos for all of the tire reviews but I am really enjoying the channel. Are you going to have more videos on the 80 series and any changes you have been making to it since buying it? It’s awesome.
Yes more 80 series videos are coming for sure, it needs a small lift and to get back to 38 - 40 inch tires for true rock climbing... it has been a super fun truck. IF you haven't seen this one... this was a good test - th-cam.com/video/dqFc9gaK8OI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7TQD0GJISIqex4mr
@@OutdoorAuto lol I actually started it about 10 minutes ago!
Always coming with that Clutch content, interesting, informative, engaging, doing a great job man.
I would love to see more content like this on your channel 👍🏼
Thanks for this feedback... trip videos are new for me, cause usually I have my kids and I can't film them... but I would like to work a bit more in.
Thanks for another informative & entertaining video!! We live in Colorado and were in Moab this past February, did Bronco Off-Roadeo and hiked Arches NP - Great fun on the trails there. My winter protection project was adding 300lbs of RCI sliders & skids on our Bronco. Glad too, it can in very handy in Utah. Happy you folks didn't break anything, strong vehicles and solid family too. Cheers Ken
Ken, that sounds like an awesome trip... I think I may have to finally fold and put some rock skids on my tundra...
@@OutdoorAuto Yeah, We're running Ford's HOSS 3.0 with 2.5" Fox coil-overs, but may need bigger springs with bumper/wrench mods too..
We got stuck in 2’ of snow today on section 4 of the WA BDR.
Got yanked out and went on our way.
Another Great Day off roading.
Sorry y’all got stuck, but glad you’re ok
Sometimes I feel that if you don’t get stuck… maybe it wasn’t that big of an adventure… getting stuck is half the fun.
@@OutdoorAuto We agree
I’ll be in your neck of the woods next month, exploring trails and camping with the family, hope the weather holds😊
fantastic video as usual. Thank you and Cheers From Canada!
I gotta get up to Canada this year.
if you turned driver, the tire would be touching the rock and you could back up onto it, or close enough for it to not cause any damage before making contact. easy driving recovery
ive been in this exact type of situation before, the hardest part would be actually turning the wheel since all the pressure is on one side of the steering rack
Not even close to reaching if you turned driver… but thanks for the advice
Heading out west is on our bucket list.
Your videos are so awesome, I clicked like before watching! No regrets!! 👍😎
Thanks for being so supportive of the channel.. I really appreciate it. It means a lot.
Lots of great advice in this video
Thanks for watching.
Great video!
Love it man. I just uploaded a video of my terrible weekend haha. I hope to visit there one day. Glad you got back safe.
Uh oh... Terrible weekend... that sounds interesting.
Awesome
Another awesome video! I love the Toyota content! I hate you had to drive a Jeep😢💪🏻💪🏻
It's kinda funny how much off-road I do and how little I have driven a jeep.... On the new Rubicons I was shocked how small the windshield is... Visibility is pretty rough... and that is saying a lot when you come from a Tundra...
I drive an FJ, I know about limited windshield visibility. I guess you can consider yourself lucky that the Jeep didn’t break down on the trail. Again, great video, as always!💪🏻💪🏻
What boots were those in Zion?
Also, excellent video.
Felt like some real adventure. You mixed it really well.
Those are the Vivo boots... I covered them in this video - th-cam.com/video/kBoGU6Nqe2s/w-d-xo.html
I almost can't believe you dont have full RCI skids on that thing....
Yeah, I probably should... but I keep trying to save weight... everything is a game of tradeoffs.
@@OutdoorAuto On my 2020 Tundra I have the full Alum skids and the weight is not bad at all and seriously, I have SMASHED them into rocks and they are solid!!
WOW! what a view!!! Thanks for sharing, and driving a Jeep with the peasants 😉
LOL... it was pretty fun... I really never get to drive Jeeps so it was an interesting changeup
@@OutdoorAuto Haha, it's all in fun. I've got a TJ, JL and a Tacoma in my 37" tire fleet.... LOL
YUPPIE STUFF !!!!LOL/////
Why comment?
LOL !!!!!
