this is by far one of the best reviews out there, thank you soooo much for spending the time and effort. you were so comprehensive, and even going the extra mile to fill up the Alltop tank to test the difference...kudos to you sir
Great review that you put out, I agree Morrflate is a great compressor. I picked one up last summer before my Utah/Colorado trip and used it plenty of times to air up when I was done with a trail and it didn't miss a beat. The one you have in the review came out 3 weeks after I purchased mine that wasn't the digital version or I would of went that route. Also the owner of Morrflate is very responsive and personally contacted me during my purchase from their website. Your 2nd place pick is absolutely the value to cost winner overall especially if you have a tighter budget.
Thank you so much. Yea I really like the digital Morrflate. Set it and walk away was really nice. I was almost expecting it to take a little longer just because of the electric interface not knowing how it would perform. I was surprised when it was the fastest compressor of the day. The All-Top was also super fast. Love those twins.
I have the Morrflate and have been using it on my jeep CJ for a while now. I don’t care for the auto set. There are times you need the compressor on and to just run, like trying to reset a bead. Also I’ve found there are times it struggles to function properly at lower pressure settings (my street pressure is only 18psi). It’s fast when it works, but I’m setting up a more traditional air system in the jeep after dealing with this for a while now.
Damn, you have reset a bead with a compressor, that is awesome. Just a question but why do you run 18psi on street pressure. I know it’s a soft ride but isn’t it really sloppy at high speed turns, plus you can roll off your tire. IMHO.
@@AdventureBuiltI run 18psi on the street because with a 37” tire on a rig that only weighs 3000lbs loaded, if you ran more the tire would be overinflated and prone to hydroplaning and loss of traction at speed. Anyone running oversized tires generally should not be running the manufacturers recommend air pressure or the tire pressure on the side of the tire. If you run a very heavy overland rig, you may need more air pressure (up to the maximum rated). A very light rig may need significantly less. Tire manufacturers can help with this, but the simplest way I found is to overinflate the tire slightly (radial tires should have a slight bulge at the bottom when properly inflated) Then mark a chalk line across the entire tread face. Drive a little ways down a straight road. The chalk should be removed across the entire face of the tread indicating you making full contact with the road surface. If the chalk isn’t all the way removed, then lower a few PSI and repeat until it does. Ever vehicle owners manual used to include a bunch of photos on tire wear. This is what it’s based on. Proper tire PSI for the size tire and weight of your vehicle is critical to safe operation and if you change tire size from what the manufacturer recommended, then you can no longer use that tire pressure.
@@jasonblaschka6216 dude that is some great info. Thank you so much. I’ll have to take a look at my tire patch and see how it measures. Thanks again for the thorough explanation.

Great job. I'm in the market for a compressor now and based on your comprehensive testing I'm leaning towards the morrflate. I just subscribed to your channel .Thanks.Lee in SoCal
This is great. The twins all look like the same compressor but clearly they are not. All Top makes a dual compressor with digital control now too. It would be cool to see how these compare to an ARB twin also, just for reference.
I had looked at adding the ARB twin but just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money on a compressor. If I can’t spend it then I don’t think there a lot of people that do. I feel like the people that buy ARB twins will only buy ARB twins.
@@NigelNaughton I get that. But all these social media influencers run the ARB twin and make it seem like it walks on water. So it would just be cool to see how the “golden child” stacks up to these.
@@chrisridebike8 I've seen the ARB tested against these and it always loses... takes more time to air up. I think the best thing about the ARB is the size. It makes mounting easy. But I wouldn't spend that much money on it. You can get one of these other brands, air up faster and get the 4 hose inflation kit for less than the price of the ARB. 😁
A simple squeeze clamp could save your hand for the ones that require a grip to hold it. If it has an inflator stop then the squeeze handle could be a game changer.
Exactly the video I needed! Thank you! Now All-Top has a digital version of the dual cylinder... 🤔 Now that I know real world times vs. my sadly finally broken trusty Super Flow MV-89 😭 (fixable if I can find new reed valves for the cylinder heads, but it's suffered MANY years of abuse lol) but the always great dual cylinder NAPA is on sale today for $119 which is tempting! Atleast you helped me narrow down the options on my list before I get in a bind using my assortment of worn out or low output back up/loaner compressors. I was planning on eventually buying the PUMA 12v 100% duty cycle 3/4hp or 1hp compressor, but don't want to spend $400 for something that was meant to be a permanent mount on a single truck with the superflow being my portable option... So back again to budget terminal clamp compressors this winter I guess 😂 I'm just glad my last well living superflow broke in the driveway! One cylinder would've kept me going I guess, but after taking the heads apart, the "good" valve snapped while removing it to search for compatible replacement parts! RIP SuperFlow... The gold medal budget standard for like 20 years, now gone... Although so many better designs and direct factory rebrands of what SF was just branding with their name have flooded the market it was really only a matter of time before they disappeared... I think the first release of the Smittybilt compressor really changed the old days of reccomendations that every new guy on a budget go buy a Superflow MV-50 or MV-90... Thanks again👍
I have to say, that was a GREAT comparison video on air compressors! ty for being a man n freezing ur face, better than the nads. So i think the dual all top would be my choice with the Morrflate quad hoses.
I have the JACO TrailPro and you really can't beat it at the price point and size, its better than my old VIAIR 400p and perfect for moderate off road use. I usually am only going 20 psi to 30 psi. The locking air chuck attachment is the best part.
I have the Vevor equivalent of the All-Top. (almost positive it's the same compressor) And it's really nice. I need that Morrflate Quad so bad though. The hose/guage that came with it isn't hitting on much. It's such a hassle to use.
The Morrflate quad is amazing. Morrflate also has a new Air Hub that turns any compressor into an automatic turn off at pressure. Set it and walk away. Pretty sick for airing up and down.
The biggest limiting factor is the Schrader valve. They have a limit of around 2 cfm. That’s why the dual compressors really come into their own when inflating 4 tires at once. Would have been great to see the time of single All top without the tank. Like you said, it’s more for air tools than inflation. All top now has the electronic dual compressor with a pressure valve just like the morrflate for around $270.
Maybe he mentioned it and I missed it, but I've seen videos mentioning using the dual cylinder versions for 1 tire will eventually ruin the compressor. I'm not sure if 2 would be Okay, but not likely.
@@airtazznunya5724 dual cylinders are definitely over kill for only doing one tire at a time and not what they’re made for. I’ve watched a ton of reviews on the single and dual cylinder compressors and never heard any one mention only doing one will shorten its life. I’m not saying it’s wrong just that I’ve never heard it, even from the brands themselves. The only way I could see is that it would make the pump work harder because there is more back pressure since the valve is restricting the amount of flow. It shouldn’t make a difference though considering air compressors are meant to work from 80-130+ psi filling tanks. Tires are under 40 psi.
@@seashackf1 check morrflate website. They state "Note About This Product:This compressor is not designed for 1 tire at a time. I wonder if the Duel Cylinder All-Top would have performed better than the Morrflate had you used the All-Top that also has the Auto Shutoff. Seems like time is added, having to manually check PSI as you're airing up. At $269 on Amazon, i am leaning that way. 10.6 CFM for the Morrflate vs 12.3 CFM All-Top Duel Cylinder with Auto Shutoff. Thank you for one of ths best side by side comparison videos i have watched. Tons of videos on Morrflate, but few with All-top. Yet All-Top has more reviews on Amazon.
That one wasn’t available when I was buying compressors. Maybe I’ll go back and do a side by side of all the auto shut off compressors and see which is the best. Thx.
Great review; that was a lot of work! At the end, your measurements of Tozalazz vs Moreflate had a near 3 min differential; that is A LOT. Based on other's reviews, your Tozalazz number seems really off. Even the AllTop's differential is also quite high at 1:20. All these compressors, especially the AllTop & MorrFlate are near identical w/ very minor differentials from the same OEM. As an engineer, I'm simply curious what variables might be in play to possibly explain the differentials. I do have to agree that there is a common theme in all the reviews that MorrFlate's way of doing business is head and shoulders above all the other similarly branded compressor vendors.
Completely agree on MorrFlate being the tip of the spear in their field. I think some of the discrepancies could be contributed to the cold. The testing went all day and it went from single digits up to low teens then down to 0. Was pretty chilly by the days end. Thanks for watching!
I often have issues in freezing weather, from the heated air from the compressor creating condensation inside the outlet, then becoming frost and blocking the air system

Keep uploading video like that 💪🤘 *update : was going to order the morrflate but not anymore on Amazon and sold out on their web site . BUT ! the all top twin is now equip with a digital screen and also controled just like the morrflate. 🤙
The fight should be between the Morrflate ad the Thor's Lightning. Would be cool to see what looks like to be the exact same compressor (but with different labels) fight it out. And I would be curious to see the longevity on these as well by anyone that has used them for some length of time. I am thinking about purchasing the Morrflate or the Thor's lightning and I wasn't liking the price at all. But then I consider the time, effort and price of gas (you have to keep your car running to use these and if it's taking over 10 minutes every time that $uck$) the price isn't that bad.
The Morrflate, Thor's Lightning and the EZ Flate are all built on the same platform, but it would be interesting to see what differences they would have. I myself have the EZ Flate auto system. I can fill all 4 of my 285's from 18psi to 33psi in about 3 min.
MORRFlate has made quite a few differences in theirs... purge valve to release pressure when youre done, stainless steel hose drops 100degrees off from the compressor to the fitting/coupler on the end, aluminum heat sinks and cylinders, tighter fit on the heat sink/cylinder fitment, and new material on the piston rings. All of this equates to a 3x longer duty cycle and essentially 3x longer life out of your compressor :)
All-top dual cylinder is down to $135. For that price... Think you're hard pressed to get the other. Plus I think you can fab a "set pressure" off switch for 10-30 bucks as well, if that's the biggest deal breaker. Mine is in the mail! Haha
I was just talking to a buddy about ARB compressors. My thought is the ARB has a very specific buyer and those guys will more than likely only buy ARB. I get it, stick with what works but I feel with the technology their price point is a bit unreasonable. IMHO!
@@camronbay1there's been a lot of complaints and failures on the ARB. Price doesn't always equal quality or reliability. Especially in our global economy
My plan was to test it then realized it wouldn’t be a fair comparison since the Smittybilt is 4 years old. Was gonna order one and wait to shoot the video then decided to just do it. Can always add it into a part 2.
There is no way the Morphlate is worth it just for the shutoff switch. Hell, I still use my tiny smittybilt compressor because it still works 8 years and counting. I make good money, but people are just throwing money out the window for 2 minutes of waiting. Btw, I live in Colombia and do offroad tours to the jungle and flood plains. I know what works and what doesn't. Most Americans can't even work their winch but have every damn piece of gear imaginable 😅
Yup that pretty much sums it up. We are gearing up heavy and don’t use the lot of it. Probably don’t even know how to. I started off with an early 90’s Jeep Wrangler with no top, no doors and a tent! Life was simpler but much less comfortable!!! Happy trails my friend. If I’m ever in Columbia, maybe you can show me some of your trails!

@@saintarmstrong8790though I agree, and I’m not looking to spend $400 to inflate every couple of weeks, morrflate is a great company and they sponsor a lot of great things in the off road community. Wish I could justify that price though!
These noname chinese makers like "alltop" don't have any product testing. They have great manufacturing and logistcs, to bring you a good cheap product, but who is it for? Did they actually test the product, and inflate a tire for 4 minutes holding the chuck? Obviously not. Did they try to inflate 4 tires at once, something that ALL 4x4 inflators should be able to do? Nope. Anyway, it's good to have actual people testing the products on youtube. Thank yoy.

Thank you so much.
New here outstanding video, keep up the good work
Thank you so much !!!
i use a Milwaukee m18 powered compressor. the thing's awesome.
I’ve tried a dewalt battery powered compressor. I wasn’t impressed.
Nice content, i m still confuse which to choose, can you recommend me, i want a pump, that is quick to inflate and the motor slow to get hot
I would definitely go with the PSI Pro from Morrflate. It’s been awesome.
Great video couldnt ask for better information . Thumbs up and follow from up north Canada . Keep uploading video like that 💪🤘
*update : was going to order the morrflate but not anymore on Amazon and sold out on their web site . BUT ! the all top twin is now equip with a digital screen and also controled just like the morrflate. 🤙
Awesome. Thanks. I’ll have to check out the new AllTop.
Could definitely be a good video.
The Morrflate, Thor's Lightning and the EZ Flate are all built on the same platform, but it would be interesting to see what differences they would have. I myself have the EZ Flate auto system. I can fill all 4 of my 285's from 18psi to 33psi in about 3 min.
@@Mumfy64 that's super fast 👍
MORRFlate has made quite a few differences in theirs... purge valve to release pressure when youre done, stainless steel hose drops 100degrees off from the compressor to the fitting/coupler on the end, aluminum heat sinks and cylinders, tighter fit on the heat sink/cylinder fitment, and new material on the piston rings. All of this equates to a 3x longer duty cycle and essentially 3x longer life out of your compressor :)
@Mumfy64 ^^ this :)
Hey man what do you think about Thor’s Lightning? Wish that one was part of the comparison as well.
I honestly can’t say because I have never tested it.
It's the same as the dual Alltop or morrflate etc. All the same output/volume
All-top dual cylinder is down to $135. For that price... Think you're hard pressed to get the other. Plus I think you can fab a "set pressure" off switch for 10-30 bucks as well, if that's the biggest deal breaker. Mine is in the mail! Haha
Amazon $135.00.. just received it, what a deal!
I have the ARB compressor in the case it’s worked for me expensive but never let me down.
I was just talking to a buddy about ARB compressors. My thought is the ARB has a very specific buyer and those guys will more than likely only buy ARB. I get it, stick with what works but I feel with the technology their price point is a bit unreasonable. IMHO!
@@AdventureBuilt I have the one with the tank to run air tools as well I’m looking to get the compressor mounted.
@@AdventureBuilt My opinion is to have a compressor off roading that works no matter what be prepared to many are not prepared.
@@camronbay1there's been a lot of complaints and failures on the ARB. Price doesn't always equal quality or reliability. Especially in our global economy
@@mrmotofy I’ve never had an issue so far and e heard the vi air is good to I do quite a bit of off roading a compressor is a must.
Great job 👏
Thank you! 😃
Great reviews
Thank you so much!
Good video
Glad you enjoyed
Where is the compressor manufactured?
Honestly not sure…I would say the bulk of them at from China.
What happened to your smittybilt?
My plan was to test it then realized it wouldn’t be a fair comparison since the Smittybilt is 4 years old. Was gonna order one and wait to shoot the video then decided to just do it. Can always add it into a part 2.
No worries was just curious. Why not add an onboard compressor and use a morfflate quad?
I think I'll buy the All Top for half the price.
I guess a hose from the exhaust isn’t a solution. It’s too cheap 😂
@@AdventureBuilt well said. And I can show you around for sure. You'd have some great shots
dont even need to watch... morrflate wins. bye
True Story!!!!
I don't even need to know you. But I know you probably have all the bells and whistles and never go amd never do. With all due respect, it's just a guess like you did.
Thank yoy.
alltop has a double head auto shut off now.
When was the last time you saw anything negatively reviewed on Amazon? Never trust Amazon reviews
There are actually tons of negative reviews on amazon. I always look at the negative reviews before the positive, gives me a solid idea of what people are thinking. IMHO.
Clown , ...Oh my god you have to hold a Valve !!! Ba ha ha ha ha ha
I’ve just gotten used to the finer things in life! 😂
