Not quite. The White Glint mod by itself is just a modelswap with no stats changes. It's the NEXT Movement Regulation mod that makes my gameplay as fast as it is in both missions.

I haven't played AC: For Answer, and now I wish I can. After playing AC6 and seeing White Glint, I was fascinated. I wish they make a remake or release similar parts aside from Handler's AC that looks like an inspiration from White Glint.
This is fantastic work My own personal gripe is that if the booster array doesn't open up during Assault Boost, then I can't consider it _truly_ a complete White Glint, though I imagine the work needed to implement such a thing would be tremendous.
Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. Also, having a real next in armored core with the next regulation proves that this engine can flawlessly hold apex predator mechs cruising around huge maps at brain-shattering speeds. We'll have to wait some time to use it again though, the 1.05 might as well break something in the mod. again ps. nice edit and comprehensive showcase
I don't care if you pilot a Normal & using the superior keyboard/mouse controls. NEXTs are just technologically superior by lightyears that even if you handicap them by using console controllers to pilot them, you can still annihilate *EVERY SINGLE CRAFT, INCLUDING BOSSES* in the entire AC6 universe *EVEN AT THE SAME TIME*.
If AC's can reach unfathomable levels of destructions through sheer firepower NEXTs are basically the gods of war from human mythology, immortal, untouchable, invincible, GODS.
If you played AC4 or ACFA, then you'd know IBIS is nothing compared to a NEXT. Next weapons are much stronger and have much longer ranges than ACs in AC6, and they also move at much higher speeds than IBIS. Seriously, try overboosting or 2nd stage quickboosting in ACFA. Then you'll understand the sheer speed difference.
I think this is a great looking mod. I really do wish that they would have brought back the next. Also, I hope they do a mod for the white Glenn where the back actually opens up when over boosting
@@jager477 imagine the first generations of armored core remastered or ported to AC6's engine but with a different story, new/old parts that are retextured, levels remade, stories filled with more context and lore... Vaati will have a run for his money by the sheer amount of content FromSoftware would have from doing that.
Extremely impressive. A few things I wish were done instead, like not making the lower OB thrusters not be part of the main thrust here as well as those little holes in WG's shoulders are where the side thrust should be coming from. Still amazing work, WG feels so elevated in this engine, as if the cinematic model comes alive.
I understand the programing may make it really hard or impossible but its a damn shame the wings dont open properly when overboosting. Other then that it looks amazing! This mod paired with a mod that allows the movement of nexts would be nothing short of astonishing. Tho the prescence of a NEXT piloted by a LYNX would spell the end of rubicon with no one able to even blink in defiance. Its a terrifying thought to imagine how the story would of panned out if you were actually a NEXT or god forbid if one of your opponents was a NEXT!!! Those things are walking apocolypses on the weaker side... The only thing i really wanted in ac6 tho were the return of arm weapons. The smg arms made by algebra in ac4: fa were my absolute favourites they had amazing firepower while beimg light enough to allow you to carry the heavyest back and shoulder weapons you could get your hands on. Another thing i noticed is that a lot (if not all) of the arm parts seem to have slots for shoulder weapons. I wonder if that was a scrapped mechanic or of its to line up a future dlc or spin off title.

People don't seem to understand that making new items requires modifying the regulation.bin, which breaks mods every time FromSoftware updates the game to a new patch. Repeat patches have made some modders weary of having to constantly update their mods to be functional. This comment section is rather tame, but you have no idea how incredibly toxic comments can get on the actual mod pages (as in, "UPDATE PLEASE").

If the files fail to extract, it is likely that the archive is corrupted, which usually happens when the download process has been interrupted. Try redownloading to see if the issue persists.

Its a crime that you guys don't give a proper tutorial for mod installation
KRDCD's sticky post on NexusMods for installing is more than enough for most users. I follow a written guide by B L A Z E and I obtain the same results. If some users cannot get the mods to work, then it's usually an issue with their configuration.
1. You will need the ModEngine 2.1 tool in order to make the mods function. Download here:
github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases
2. Search your PC for Armored Core VI's Steam game folder. Path should be the following:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON\Game
3. In the "Game" folder, extract the ModEngine 2.1 .rar file you downloaded as a new folder.
4. Within the "ModEngine-2.1.0.0-win64" folder, create a new folder that you can name at will. For this mod, I named it as "WhiteGlint".
5. Open the file "config_armoredcore6.toml" as a notes file and edit the following line:
mods = [
{ enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod" }
]
Add a "," and { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "WhiteGlint" } so that the end result is:
mods = [
{ enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod" },
{ enabled = true, name = "default", path = "WhiteGlint" }
]
6. Create a folder named "parts" in the "WhiteGlint" folder.
7. Extract the desired ".partsbnd.dcx" files from the mod files into that "parts" folder.
8. While Steam is open, run the "launchmod_armoredcore6.bat" executable included in the Mod Engine folder.

How do you install it? I watched a guide in how and it’s telling me to extract the file but I literally can’t
If the files fail to extract, it is likely that the archive is corrupted, which usually happens when the download process has been interrupted. Try redownloading to see if the issue persists.
@@KnightValfodr The issue does persist. I've downloaded it multiple times and tried installing it on both Google Chrome and Firefox and it all leads to the same issue: me not being able to extract the file. It appears as a .RAR file
