There were other teenagers everywhere for that concert, drinking booze outside of the Hartford Civic Center, and then stumbling into a packed arena just to have AC/DC blow everyone's ears off! My ears always rang constantly for hours after a stadium concert (that wasn't unhealthy, was it? ). I love to hear Josh talking of his love for 60's music! It's important to share the musical explosion that happened then. I'm a little biased, since I was a kid, in the 60's.
I am surprised that such a young person like Josh is attached to the music of 60ties. For me, I am over 70, it was the only contemporary to me music available, I was a teenager at that time, but I felt it was something really revolutionary going on. I felt fascinated and addicted to analyze new tracks and witnessing the growing complexity of orchestration of pop music. It was also a time when the first-time emphasis was taken on bass guitar lines and make them more visible. But I would say the revolution, innovation in the music continues nowadays. Mike Stern, Hiromi, Yuja Wang are my heroes.
My hometown and like them or not apart from the 4 lads there was Gerry and the pacemakers, the Searchers, Billy Fury, then later Frankie goes to Hollywood, Echo and the bunnymen, Icicle works, the La,,'s, on and on and on. Elvis Costello forgot about him.

Love Mary and Josh! It might be a hard get, but I would love to hear you interview Jack Stratton of Vulfpeck.
A very enjoyable interview. I don't know anything about him. Thanks for broadening my knowledge.
Mary's voice sound production is perfect, and I don't see a mic! Well done.
Middle aged man!
Love your work Tomo!!
Does he have his sidekick Drinking Buddy?
No, he is just an old soul in a young body. He is fine.
Middle Aged wonderboy 😍
Mary Spender you are a perfect 10 , love your accent
Josh did a great version of "Graceland". Very talented!
So funny to hear that Josh follows Regular Car Reviews, it's one of my favourite channels too
I love to hear Josh talking of his love for 60's music! It's important to share the musical explosion that happened then. I'm a little biased, since I was a kid, in the 60's.
I first heard Josh after searching for a Nick Drake live performance and found his cover of "Three Hours". He nailed it and I became a fan instantly.
That was my route too. I was ready to be disappointed but hi did an incredible job covering Nick.
I miss the full interviews on Spotify. Hope you can also upload it on there :). Cheers
Leo Kotke as an inspiration ....i bought his first album in 1972......i've seen him in concert....much under appreciated
Man, I haven`t heard Leo Kottke`s name in a while... Definitely a great guitarist to listen to :D
You don’t have to look very far to find young people interested in old music!
60's had a magical element, and in one place, a magnet for the cream of genius, little old Liverpool!
My hometown and like them or not apart from the 4 lads there was Gerry and the pacemakers, the Searchers, Billy Fury, then later Frankie goes to Hollywood, Echo and the bunnymen, Icicle works, the La,,'s, on and on and on. Elvis Costello forgot about him.
also been a fan since 2008. also taking credit for the british influence. lovely interview
Great interview! Good job!! It's very interesting to learn about Josh's influences and early days on TH-cam!
my favorite youtuber and current musician
