Yum! I use the Kodiak pancake mix and add an egg to the mix for more protein…pop in the microwave for 2 mins. It’s typically 5 pts for the serving. I make a “topper” for it with the Fage0% yogurt and 0 pt worth of flavored zero sugar jello pudding mix like cheesecake, lemon or vanilla. I typically add a fruit as well as a little bit of sugar free syrup! Ends up being 30-40g of protein and only 5-6 pts depending on the flavor of the Kodiak mix I use. 👏🏻
Adam running by with the “like” took me out. 🤣 Thank you for the ideas! Do you already have a video with lunch ideas? I’m a truck driver and struggle to think of healthy things that I can pack and eat cold.
Great video! Everything looks delicious. I heard you say you love pancakes , Kodiak is a staple in my house lol , the Trader Joe’s protein pancake is also good , it’s usually about 3-4 points for the serving . I beef up my mixture with an egg and sometimes some baking soda you can get 2-3 small ones out of it ( i got the idea a long time ago from Dish with Dee ) also will use equal parts unsweetened nut milk, Kodiak has awesome flavors and then you get tons of protein ❤. I’ve been Lifetime maintaining since 2007 and Kodiak is in my breakfast rotation, I bet you’d love it , I love the birthday cake and the chocolate chip flavor ( il add Lilly’s for more chips ) ❤ I think you’d love Kodiak protein pancakes 🥞 😋
If you put a fried egg on that sandwich, it will become a croque madame. I am sure I didn't spell the first part right. It won't add any points, it adds around 70 calories and 6 additional protein grams, or what ever the protein is for eggs.
A croque-madame is a croque-monsieur with an added runny fried egg on top. The croque-monsieur is typically made with white bread (pain de mie), butter, ham, cheese (usually Gruyère or Comté) and a bechamel sauce (sometimes with added cheese in it). It's definitely not point friendly, but it is utterly delicious. ❤
@@michellezerber Thank you for being so sweet! 😊 Your comment about the croque-madame brought back some wonderful memories for me. I had forgotten how amazing it is until I read your post. So, thank you so much for bringing up these sweet memories. 😊🩷
Lol, I thought of you bc I bought some "simply potatoes" hash browns, with the intent of making them for breakfast yesterday, but forgot!😅 Another day! Also, can't remember if you've done this or not, but I thought of Chevy's Fresh Mex 's sweet corn tomalito and how it's been years since I had some. So I searched a copy cat recipe, made it yesterday (v easy), and a serving is only 150 calories! You should try it! Buttery, slightly sweet, top got a bit crispy 😋
Yes definitely! Usually I just use all purpose flour but the wheat flour helps to make it lower in points! Both work but with wheat it’s a little more dry so I end up adding a little extra yogurt!
Hi Nikki! Thanks for the great recipes. I have a sugeestion that would make these videos better - imo at least- first letus know what ypu're making and then as you do each step do voice over explaining exactly what you're doing, instead of doingthe explanation in the beginning of each recipe and then have the actual preparation of the recipe with the music. I think this would more anjoyable to watch, more informative and you can take out those clips and do shorts as well.
I love the way u wear gloves when you work with dough

I was wondering if Zodiak would be an option. Thanks for this!
That sounds delicious! I love the Kodiak pancake mix.

Can you use just all purpose flour? I don't usually have any wheat flour. Or maybe use almond flour?

Hi Nikki and Adam
👋👍👍🥰
Recipes looked yummy! When you made the pizza's & it is almost half your points do you just eat less points for lunch & dinner that day?
