- I go to Subaru of London to review the 2024 WRX GT SPT automatic to see if a CVT WRX is still engaging to drive, or if they sold out.
I have a good feeling it will be still be fun to drive, because I got the chance to test the Outback Wilderness with a similar transmission and was pleasantly surprised.
A special thanks to all our Subscribers who help keep us going and to Subaru of London for letting us test this iconic vehicle.
Let's go!

NOTE: I try to source my specs from the manufacturer first and then resort to the most reputable journalists who professionally tested the vehicle after them. That said, I have the memory of a gold fish and often misquote information so please do your own research if you can.
Also, I believe in following the laws of the road and that stunt driving should be left to the professionals and not me. I try my best on or off camera, like everyone else, to comply, because it helps keep us all safer.
Thanks for watching and I will see you again next time! - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
You didn't mention the Savagegeese cameo in the background! 🤣
I know we've talked about this before: while I would never consider buying a WRX in anything but a 6-speed, I'm glad they offer this CVT option to expand the appeal because it helps them to sell more units and justify keeping the model around. A very solid offering!
Agreed! So funny you said that because I was thinking that as I was filming 😂
Funny I was at Subaru London about a year and half ago and the lots were empty. I just ended up walking away but good to see they have some in stock.
Exactly!! It was scary for a while. When I sold cars for Chrysler years ago we used to have 200-300 vehicles on the lot any given day and we were a smaller dealer!
Drive hard, get hard!
Amazing, Subaru will offer the Sedan in CVT but, won't offer the WRX wagon in the manual version in the US, but offers the wagon in manual in ....."Mexico"!!!!
In America the trim you reviewed is a limited, A GT has the the Recaro seats
Interesting! Funny how they don't that.
I thought the steering wheel had some perforation in it. I didn’t see any.
"A lot of people are undecided about the look"
No, they aren't
Body cladding bad
Overhated lol. Get the grey or black colour and it blends.
@@braveheart9658 Yea, it doesn't look bad in black... but what a terrible reason to choose a color for your car
@@moflow99 To each their own I guess
This gen WRX is one of my favorites in the lineage. Speak for yourself 🙌
@@SpectralOoze When the cladding on the back is so severe it's referred to as "wearing a diaper", then... yea 😆
