Is it done with a bot, or do I need to manually transfer the NFT from my OpenSea collection/item to the wallet address of the person claiming the free NFT. Please advise. Cheers!
Hi, Steven! There are ways to do it programmatically, but nothing clean. Honestly the market is ripe for a solution that helps you perform tasks like that without programming knowledge. For now your options are you program a bulk transfer solution or do it by hand.

Thanks so much! Freezing the metadata just means that the properties of the NFT itself are frozen, not its ownership. So you shouldn't have a problem giving them away in that case :)

What about fees like gas, when you give an NFT away?
They’re there no question, but not ultimately that expensive. At least if it’s a pre-launch giveaway.
giveaway also cost gas fee for creators, need to put that cost in budget
Good call! However, for a large number of transactions this is a pretty low amount. Not that it should be ignored, but I’d argue it isn’t prohibitive to the strategy

Do you think giving away NFTs to influencers is worth it? Or is everyone doing it so the influencers don’t promote them? And should I just give them away to normal ppl like me lol
I don’t think there’s an inherent problem with it. As you said, they’re flooded with offers (I’m still a small TH-camr and I can attest - the requests keep coming).
However, NFTs don’t really work with traditional influencer campaigns due to their uniqueness. So it may end up you need to come to a paid arrangement with the influencer.
This isn't a step-by-step guide at all. You don't screen share a single step in this video. How do you give away an NFT without the person receiving it having to pay gas fees, platform fees, etc.? I don't want to individually transfer them one-by-one. I want specific fans to be able to get their first NFT for free just by going to a link and claiming it.

I'm sorry, how is this a step-by-step guide It seems like you're just inflating people's idea of why to do it, was definitely looking for a step-by-step guide of someone on a computer showing people how to actually do this.
