The sad part is, as someone who has been to the school shown at 27:56, yes, they absolutely give zero F's about the student body, it's all about the football. They FINALLY tore down the two giant dorms that were frightening to live in and transferred everyone to overpriced apartments nearby. They put up a new building every 10 years that's super fancy to try and entice people into coming there and then leave the other buildings to rot. That entire school is r/MildlyInfuriating

10:34 fun fact: the lil fluffy bits on hats are there when sailors down below deck (not like pirate ships but old navy ships from like the 30s or something? I'm not sure) were hitting their heads on the ceiling really often since it was so low hanging and the ship was moving. Giving them hats with these funky lil fluffy bits, gave them a warning when they felt the pressure on their head from the fluffy bit touching the ceiling so then they would know to duck a lil bit and then it found it's way onto winter hats but the sailors are where it originated from.
The other infuriating part of the "visit the bathroom/water fountain during passing periods " mentality is when the scheduled passing periods do not allow enough time to do anything besides going from one class to another, depending on where classes are located in the school compared to bathrooms/water fountains

Not just corrosive, it's caustic. Alkali will denature cells a lot more efficiently than acid. And it's a fairly exothermic reaction (creates heat.)

At 10:44 the original purpose for the pom poms at the top of the hats was to guard peoples heads from banging on the rafters of the ships they were on. Also alot had a certain design specific to each family to help with identifying the person if they were lost during certain conditions. The knitted sweaters were the main way to identify a person as that was harder to be removed.

Fun fact about the puff ball on top of hats from my uncles, they were originally created for workers normally in the construction business to reduce the impact on their heads when walking under a low bearing doorway or frame. I’ve also heard sailors made them for the same reason.

Hey lexi, a little known fact, the pom-pom on the cap at 10:35 is present as when sailors wore caps in the winter in ships, the ceilings would be so low that some sailors would hit their head so these pom-poms were added so that, in the event that they are about to hit their head the pom-pom would start moving and the sailor would be able to tell, due the cap shifting about, that they might hit their head on the ceiling and that stayed in fashion and is made everywhere

In the puzzle bit, the thing that's failing is that the sliding piece in the top right of it doesn't have a recess for the pin to drop down. Since the pin can't drop, they middle piece can't move, which means the bottom piece can't move. Absolutely a lackluster job of assembly.

When my mother was around like 33-34 [I was only 2/3 yrs at tht time nd hd stopped brestfeeding] She got silicone implants [hope i spelt that right], and she wanted them around 250 in size. And later on couple years lter she needed to go to the doctor mny times complining about how she had bad pint in her leg that she broke like 5 yrs ago [aka like 2012 times] and when she was at the doctor they always asked like ''Are you depressed?'' or ''Is your home and family okay?'' and stuff like that, and now [10 years after having the implant] she finally got rid of the silicone cus she found out that that was what caused the problems, and also that whe didnt get size 250, but 375 [which isnearly double the size] and after getting them out she found out the size, AND that EVERY SINGLE PROBLEM SHE HAD was now nearly gone. she wasnt depressed, she had the best family she could have, ect. the doctor ofc didnt take ANY blood tests to find out what the problem was, so SHE HAD TO DO IT ON HER OWN.
But its much better now! she got them out like around a week before christmas eve 2021. So now its going much better with her!
