    This is my favorite - so empowering when you say phrases that remind me it’s ok not to be ready YET to do the full, extended pose.

    Your restorative hip opener videos have been a part of my trauma healing process for almost two weeks now. I love them! Had my biggest emotional release so far yesterday, and I continue to feel lighter and lighter. Thank you for the work you do!

    Thank you! Just discovered your channel and I love the positivity and focus on the experience rather than toning for aesthetics.

      So happy you enjoyed this. Many people come to yoga for the physical aspects. My goal is to have everyone leave with just a little more than what they initially intended for. ❤️ Having that connection to self. Thanks so much for joining.

    I have fibromyalga and also plus size (working on losing weight). I get a lot of pain in my hips and back. And this session really helped! I felt such a relief in my hips. I love your teaching and I just subscribed ❤️

    Although it was a bit too slow for me I really got a very good stretch and feel so relaxed now...you have a very soothing voice and manner. Thank you

      @@YogaWithBird my pleasure as the stretches didn't hurt too much haha. Would you consider making a yoga flow for high kick flexibility? I think martial artists would appreciate it. I'm going to do your daily hip series and see how it affects my kicks. 👍

    That was amazing! I have a really tight right side of my groin and it always feels it’s about to click or “snap” when I go into lunges, runners pose, runners stretch etc etc. I am working through your hip opening videos and they have helped me tremendously!! Thank you so much for this precious content!! ❤️😍🌸

    I love these stretching exercises. I do them to the best of my ability. But I'm only 3 months after a knee replacement.
    Hip muscles got tight and twisted a little, uneven hip height. I believe this is the way. Thank you.

    • @YogaWithBird
      @YogaWithBird  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Love that you listen to your body and do what needed! The best of our ability is the best thing we can ever do 😊 no need to rush into any stretches and postures. Slow and steady wins the race. Thanks for joining! ❤️❤️❤️

    Supine twist is the one pose I need to really work on. Any tips? I can never get my knee to the ground without my back coming up. 😭 great sequence birdy! Xoxo namaste 🙏🏻

    • @YogaWithBird
      @YogaWithBird  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Use pillows! Under the knee crossed over and you can use a pillow or folded blanket under the side that your back lifts up. It’s not about getting your knee to the ground but finding that happy medium. You should feel a stretch nothing more. If modifying with pillows still is uncomfortable you should explore other poses to replace. ❤️
