So glad to see you again! Great tips. I grew up in a family of 9 children and my mother had basically the same rules in our home. Structure is great for kids. We were taught to cook, make minor repairs, laundry, dishes etc. We all are grown adults now and we're blessed with the knowledge and capabilities to maintain our own households. Hope to see more videos from you soon.
I don’t know why you resonated w me so much but the ease in your voice calmed my nerves on an excessively rough day w my 4 younger ones. I’m over 40 w 4 kids 5 and under. My older boys are as overwhelmed as I am. I think I realized how intense life is now when I wrote 4, 5 and under…we had a gap due to complications and basically started over. My boys are hitting their teens. Gosh thanks for being so down to earth mama-needed your wisdom today-
I'm so glad the video was helpful to you! Four kids five and under is definitely tough, but you can do this!! Just take it one day at a time and when that is too much, one hour at a time, focusing on doing your job well.
I dont have kids yet but me and my fiancé have talked about wanting to homeschool because of the state of public schooling these days and what kids are being exposed to. When you say homeschooling, do you actually create your own lesson plans and teach all of your kids or do you have a charter school like system where a teacher gives your kids lesson plans to complete at home every day and helps them with specific subjects/questions?
We use Memoria Press curriculum in our homeschool, so all of the lessons are already written out, I just follow along and teach! Some of my older students are enrolled in Memoria Press's online academy, which is also very helpful!
