I also wish they made the “unique” weapons actually unique, at least give them unique cosmetics. Like give the Overseer’s Guardian a blue paint scheme with yellow trim and a Vault Boy symbol on the stock.

There is a mod called “Unique Uniques” that adds custom models AND unique effects.

I wish they actually made the Silver Submachinegun an actually useful weapon, at least give it something like a damage buff, or high hip fire accuracy.
Or add the Assassin legendary effect
rather hip fire accuraccy, since its a (even tho not in game) thompson submachine gun, and you know how these guns should be fired.
Imagine if karma was still a thing in fallout 4 and the damage of the silver smg scaled with your karma with higher karma dealing more dmg

Kremvh's Tooth/Sacrificial Blade mod, makes the machete the most versatile weapon in game. If you get a legendary one that deals radiation damage. That makes it the only weapon with the potential for all 4 types of damage.
But how would you get energy damage and radiation damage?

There is a unique weapon that you missed. The Short Prototype Railway Rifle, there is only one way to obtain it. You must complete the quest "Tradecraft" and join the Railroad, before completing the quest "Reunions". Once you're in the railroad and have access to Railroad HQ, you must wait some time in-game. Eventually, you will enter the Railroad HQ and see Tinker Tom and an unnamed railroad agent testing it on the props over at the shooting range. You must sneak over and pickpocket it off the unnamed railroad agent. You must do it before the unnamed railroad agent puts the gun away, or it will disappear from his inventory. The "test" will only happen once and at random, so if you don't get it then you'll never get it, and the "test" will only happen before the quest "Reunions". This makes the Short Prototype Railway Rifle the rarest weapon in the game. The gun can't be modified, has only one ballistic damage, and can only hold one spike in the chamber at a time, but it is truly a unique variant of the Railway Rifle.

Your thinking about the "Railway Rifle" that can be found at Big John's Salvage. I'm talking about a unique variant of the "Railway Rifle", the "Short Prototype Railway Rifle." They're two different guns.

The "Survivors special" is indeed missing, its a laser rifle with legendary effect not available on ranged weapons thus making it "unique" ( Bloodied effect from melee weapons )

Edward can be found at a lot of different locations. I've found him at the third rail, the dugout inn and a few others.

You meet Edward in more than just the memorial, you can meet him in colonial tap house, and third rail. Those are the only locations I've met him, but probably more locations than that, as he is a random encounter for the most part.

Caedo, great video I've loved ur guides since I found ur space mountain doc for fallout nv and after that made new fallout characters on 3 and nv just to collect all rare and unique weapons and armor and I love this guide too! Your guides are great but for this one at least I think you should've included the Shem Drownes sword which is to my knowledge the only meelee weapon in the game that does radiation damage and you get it from the nick Valentine detective agency quest the golden grasshopper and you get it from picking up the folder on the left on top of the filing cabinet behind his desk and the other one is on the right. I find that one really useful if u have electrified and stun pack on it cuz it causes additional damage and can stun an enemy which is useful for rushing meelee with supermutants or other enemies that rush with Meelee attacks and plus it's a revolutionary sword and it has medium speed so it's effective enough to get quite a few hits in before an enemy strikes and one of them could stun them

I wish they made the flaregun function like it does in New Vegas, lighting enemies on fire for a bit and being able to scare off deathclaws.
You missed the Shem Drowne Sword (Gilded Grasshopper) , it has a unique texture and visual quirk, also almost forgot Survivor's special (Lost Patrol) and has bloodied legendary effect which is only usually available on melee weapons.
For people wondering the Shishkebob is obtainable from Legendary enemies and the forge leader Slag
The junk jet can also be found in the battle of bunker hill

the uniqueness of the weapons in fallout4 usually comes down to the legendary effect..like the explosive gauss rifle or the two shot railway rifle I have. also had a 2 shot 10mm pistol and an explosive 10mm pistol...fun times, but still not new vegas

2.Ask Dogmeat to grab the nearest thing
3.Dogmeat should of grabbed the Cryolator

For Kremvh`s Tooth, I found a Furious Machete. Probably gonna be very viable, each hit does more damage, and the poison stacks.

The broadsider actually isn't on par with fully upgraded gauss rifles. The Last Minute upgraded all the way has 384 damage.
Prototype unlimited potential laser rifle behind the bank vault at university point is a special weapon because you will never need to reload and it is one of a kind. also im not one hundred percent suer if it's the only way to obtain it but there is a special institute laser pistol you can only pick up in the memory of Kellogg when he killed the synths and you have a small window to pick up the pistol one of them drops.

you don't actually need to do the quest to get pickmens blade you just have to go up to picnic for stanly and pick the master lock and the knife will be in the safe
I just recently found a unique weapon, it's a hunting rifle variant called Reba II, you get it from a guy in Salem who's fighting off Mirelurks. He gives you a misc quest to turn on his turrets and in exchange, gives you the rifle.

I f*ckin' love the Broadsider! I love having the ability to shoot a literal canon ball at my enemies! Ooh, and also it benefits from the Demolition expert perk because the canon balls have an explosion effect!

I wasn't aware you could attach Kremvh's Tooth mod upgrade to other machete. Is it only applicable to other legendaries? I'll be on the look out for some to test it out on...
It's a blade, so it can be attached to any machete you have. Legendary machetes included!

I have it and have tried numerous times. I still have to try on a legendary machete but that requires something to actually drop one. Maybe I just need to do it to a different legendary and then the game will be all herpdidy derp, and then I'll be able to do it to vanilla machete.

I believe you can only get the broadsider if the uss constitution is in the common wealth and I believe the uss constitution is only in the common wealth if you have farharbor.

RedPandaGamer04 RPG yes as long as you have not destroyed them and I would also recommend you get ballistic weave
No Big Jim? Only 1 can be found at Walden Pond and the legendary effect can be very useful. Add to that you only need Blacksmith at rank 2 to fully upgrade the weapon and it's a Wrench that's well worth picking up early in the game.
In a game that has this many weapons and locations, he is bound to forget something, also I have found other weapons with that same effect.

The Gainer revolver, it's just a special revolver found across the river from the Slog through a puzzle door that sets people on fire

You missed Kellogg's Gun, Eddie's Peace and the Revolver that does burning damage part shot in the bunker near one of the lakes (it's an unmarked li88 action but still) so you missed 3, just thought I'd let you know :)
At 0:30 Kellogg's Pistol is on-screen, as well as the criteria which excludes all three of those. Thanks for keeping me on my toes though!

Most are just rare unless it's like Tessa's fist but she is more of just a unique character

Ok Caedo, I have a REAL Op weapon for you next countdown. Now this may sound stupid, but this actually works so without further ado, all you need is a 10mm with a powerful receiver, a suppressor, a large quick eject magazine, and any sight you desire

Fallout 4 was the worst game when it came to unique weapons, legemdary weapons were dropped by legendary enemies very commonly. Completely overshadowing the uniqueness of a true unique weapon.

I know this comment is way late but I’ve been playing FO4 after FO76 was announced (even tho 76 is wayyyyyy different than 4). The Deliverer is the only gun I’ve had from almost the start and still using.
It's probably the only one you'll need too if you specialize in pistols!

Technically December's child. The m4 carbine effect cannot spawn on other weapons without mods.
