I just wanted to update so that it might help anyone who is facing this issue, During my VISA application process, I got the total amount to be paid for IHS was 0, but I proceeded and completed by Visa application by paying only the Visa fee as mentioned by the procedure. After that I went and submitted my bio-metrics at VFS. In around 4 days I got a mail to top up my IHS payment. Once I updated the payment I got my in 5 days.
I submitted 2 applications for my dependents with this same issue and one of them got the payment link last week. No response for the second one's application. Does anyone have a contact where I can ask about this?
Did you apply under priority route or standard. Also, please confirm if you received your visa in total 5 working days or in 5 working days after you paid IHS. There is a little confusion on these points

When I reached the IHS payment section of the application, it showed a zero balance( it showed zero amount for payment),and IHS reference number was also generated but then it proceeded to the payment for the visa without me actually paying for either the IHS or the visa itself. I ended up leaving the application incomplete because of this confusion.Has anyone else experienced a similar problem during their UK visa application process? If so, could you please share how you resolved it or any advice you have?I'm really hoping to sort this out soon as it's causing a bit of stress. Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated! @@sharonkipkosgei8687 In my case, when they realised the amount wasn't taken, they send me a seperate email with a link to pay the IHS fees. And got my visa in 15 days
So I did my biometric on 13 June and after 10 days thats date 27 june i got an email to top up the remaing ihs since while apply the sytem took for one year ihs yet am an undergraulduate student for 3 years . On 28 june i made the payment and its now more thats 15 working days since my top up payment . Then many more days do i have go wait again for my visa

Good news i got the visa but i think eventually when i go to UK and register with a gp i will be asked to pay..the good thing is it did not affect the visa acceptance

I also face the same problem because of software glitch they deducted my ihs fee and the due amount was 371 usd . And i also got the visa . Could you please help me ?

What happened with me is that i was not directed to ihs payment..i was just directed to ihs number...is that the same with u?
