I will show you what happens on the day of biometrics capturing at TLS Visa application centre and what happens when you have left the TLS visa application centre and when your visa decision has been made. I will also share with you how to obtain your biometrics residence permit when you arrive in the Uk.

Everyone, please make sure you print your TLS Appointment slip when going for your biometrics cos they need to see it to allow you in 👍
Please when I choose "priority visa services" for my student visa application, there are no appointment date till the end of the year.
But when select normal processing time, I see appointments dates starting in 4th September.
I prefer the priority visa services since it won't delay me. What do I do in this situation ?

There's this VAF category in the TLS application form to upload documents.

@@hijnr9116Take the checklist to your appointment. Don't tick them yourselves, I think it's to be ticked on the day of your appointment by the personnel at the VAC maybe to confirm you brought them all🤔 Not sure, I will just be going for mine

Go with all your original copies, they need to sight it, then they’ll collect the photocopies.

You can print it anytime but it has to have been in your account for at least 28 days.

You have to upload the documents before you go to the TLs office. Interviews are solely at their discretion and it usually happens after your biometrics have been captured. They will tell you on the biometrics day if you will be interviewed.

Yes, but you’ll have to pay for assisted service for them to help you upload your documents.

Self service is for you to upload all your relevant documents yourself. That is the documents on your checklist. If you believe you don’t know what documents to upload, then choose assisted service, take all your documents to TLS and the staff will upload for you.

You can always amend the date as much as you want. You won’t pay another visa fees.

No, I have not been in your shoes. IT’s recommended to book everything before your appointment date, but if that’s not possible, you can always ask the TLS staff at the venue and they will let you know if that service is available on that day.

Yes you can, you have to upload all documents before your biometrics date if you are doing self service.

Do you have to get a mail from the home office that decision has been made concerning your VISA... I am using the express courier service but I didn't get a mail. I just got a text from DHL that I have a delivery from TLS
They may have handed your passport to courier first since it’s express, you’ll still get the mail within the next 24hours, so no worries.

Yes, those three, but how much you pay Depends on your circumstances and the added services you book for.

what is NSf? Sometimes it could take more than 5 days especially if they have to conduct more investigation on your circumstances.

I’m not sure, but you can try. Also you can ask at TLS when you go for your appointment.

I think the tls staff will tick the boxes, but don’t worry, once you get to tls with all your documents, they will guide you on what to do

Keep searching for further dates, you should be able to find non-chargeable days.
Is it mandatory for all uk student visa applicants to do an interview and at what time of the visa process is it done.
It’s not mandatory, not everyone is asked to do interviews. The interview is usually done after your biometrics is captured at the TLs centre. They would let you know at the TLs centre if you’ll be doing interview.
Must the degree certificates be the original copies,can I go with the photocopy to the biometric center

Just email your university that you are expecting your visa decision and hope to travel as soon as it’s out.

It is not the TLS staff that makes the decision. It is the UK visa officer at the UK embassy that decides.

i done an overseas application and attended the biometrics. i paid for priority and it says outside the uk the decision will be made within 30 working days and within 5 working days for within the uk. You book each person’s appointment separately just like you submitted their visa application separately.
I am to book my TLS appointment next, but I wanted to know if the perks of the priority visa is still worth it if you have a (I) denied UK visa for a school excursion when you were 12 applied by the school & (Ii) a family tourist visa to the USA in 2017. Nonetheless I was granted visa to SA & Dubai after these refusals.
I meet all the criteria for my student visa. I just want to know if these cases might delay the priority decision & if it will be better going with the regular decision and save some extra money.

Hmm to be honest I wouldn’t know. Priority is £250, and if you have enough time and don’t want to spend all that, you can do the standard application. Even if the priority application outcome is delayed, it will still be faster than the standard application. So if you are in a hurry, it may still pay you to go with priority.

No need to upload receipt, just print it out and go with it. Once you pay for it, it will be linked to your application.

Are you submitting your birth certificate among your visa application documents? If yes, then write the letter, if no, then not necessary.

You can do without premium lounge, just book a prime time appointment so you can go early and finish up fast.

You won’t loose it until you select a new date and save your selection.

You can start your application, but you should only submit it when your POF is matured to avoid visa rejection.

You can pay for prime time or flexi appointment. I believe You can also walk into TLS to do your biometrics for a fee. You can call them to enquire or go to their centre to ask.

After realizing that you will be in another city on the date of the biometric appointment and the city also have a TLS center, can you still change a TLS center for your biometrics appointment to the new city after you have made the selection?
Hmm I really don’t know, maybe you should call TLS to confirm.
@@KusemeIseh I did and apparently there no option to change once you have selected a location, except that you can make a new application, pay another fee and request a refund on the fee associated with the previous location you had selected provided you really never went for an interview.

The documents needed to summit must they be original copy?
You would usually show original copy and submit photocopies. Sometimes they will take the original and make photocopies themselves. But they will always return your original copies immediately, except your passport.

I’m sure every visa has a vignettes expiry date. You’ll see it on the vignettes when you are given. I think everyone pays for IHS except those in healthcare, but I believe the fee for kids should be a bit lower. Sorry I couldn’t really help cos this info is not on the website, you can only find out when you are in the application process.

Please I tried to pay for the VI center and priority Visa fee and it wasn't successful so I decided to pay for the center fee first. Now I want to select priority Visa and then pay, what am I supposed to do .

Any idea about the difference between Priority visa service-non settlement (service offered by UKVI) and Priority visa service-settlement (service offered by UKVI). Help me please it’s urgent
Settlement is for those applying for indefinite leave to remain in the Uk. That means their visa has no expiry date. If your visa has an expiry date, use the non-settlement service. Priority service is when you want the outcome of your visa application to come out within a week.

I have completed the application for her but i am finding it difficult applying for the kids because a lot of the question formats do not apply to children under 18. I understand that each application must be made separately. Please advise
You can write “Not Applicable” to those questions.
@@KusemeIseh not an option. I have to make a fresh application for each child and questions like "how much do you plan to spend" cannot be skipped.
Yes, so write an amount then. In the column at the end you can then put an explanation that the child is travelling with an adult/parent who will take care of their expenses and that the proof of funds is already available in the application of the parent.

I think pdfs are fine. Just upload the scanned copy of your passport information page. They may likely scan your passport themselves at the centre too.

Upload documents that will support your application. No need for CAS cos they already have the details. If your CAS states you have school accommodation, no need to upload, but if it’s private accommodation, you May upload the contract if you wish.

Just hold on for sometime and if you don't hear from the courier, you can call them. You can also track with the tracking number

I don't understand your question. You have to pay a fee to the TLS for them to process your visa. You also have to pay UKVI for the visa.
